The views are absolutely unreal, we loved having breakfast outside in the morning. It is a short walk to all the main tourism sites in Ella as well as all the local restaurants and bars. Shan was extremely accommodating and reliable, driving us around in his TukTuk at some very unsociable hours. He was always just a WhatsApp message away when we needed him.

The bedding was all fresh and clean, however the pillows themselves smelt bad (although my partner points out that I am very sensitive to this so might just be me that found this to be the case!)

The name of this place stands for itself. The hotel offers stunning views and breath-taking sunrise, overlooking the mountains, a waterfall and a train line at the same time. just WOW. Location is not quite central, but very quite. Anyways is a short drive to the town centre (only a few min) and if you have no transport Shan will gladly drop you down to the town. Shan is very humble, but at the same ready to help with anything you may need. Overall amazing experience. Great breakfast as well - was delicious! If I am ever back to Ella, there is no way I can exchange these views for another place.

The bed was a bit hard for me, but I am very fussy with beds in general.... The room may benefit from new bed linen and covers (these very VERY clean, but need change in my humble opinion). Everything else was perfect.

Prachtig uitzicht, zeer uitgebreid ontbijt. Lekker ruikende was. Personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Locatie was prima, 10 min wandelen naar sfeervolle straat.

Lakens waren wat vochtig. Voor ons was het een te royaal ontbijt, konden 6 man van eten. Er wordt op deze manier teveel weggegooid.

The breakfast was the best we have had in Sri Lanka. The view is exceptional and it has easy access to Ella town , being located 1 km away. You can easily get anywhere with a tuk tuk. Room was large and clean .

Awesome spot, great view, super nice room, really good breakfast. Stay here if you can. Rented a scooter from them for the standard rate in town with zero hassle. Short walk to town isn't an issue and the view is worth it (better than the photos).

Laundry service was overpriced and one of my shirts was lost. However, just do this somewhere else and the spot is perfect otherwise.

The view is the best, you get Ella’s rock, Little Adam’s Peak, a waterfall and train track, all from your private terrace. Like others mentioned, the breakfast is incredible and Shan offers the best service with recommendations, transportation and even a tuktuk guided tour. We spent 3 nights and could have stayed longer

Room was big,clean and nice. But the breakfast and the view, though...they were exceptionall! Breathtaking nature seen right from the terrace while eating. Location is good, 10-15min by walking to the city centre. Owner/staff was very kind and helpful. Took us to the city by tuk tuk and also to the tea factory outside the city.

Breakfast - Tasty, Large portions, Mix of English and Sri Lankan breakfast which enough to keep you filled for half of the day. View - Well maintained small garden with a view of a waterfall from far and a railway bridge where you can see trains. Room - Spacious, Clean, Comfortable with all necessary amenities. Very Clean Bathroom with hot water. Madushan was really helpful and served us really well. He even offered to pick us up from and drop us back to the train station by his trishaw.

Fantastic view and delicious breakfast. A few minutes walk up the main road to the centre of Ella for restaurants etc. There are only 2 rooms so grab one if it's available! If not, Leisure Dream next door (run by another family member) has 3 rooms with similar view and the mother cooks breakfast for both properties.

the location was perfect, close to the Main Street but still in the middle of the nature. very quit and peaceful with beautiful Mountain View. the room was clean and had everything we needed, I definitely recommend this place! the staff was very friendly and gave some tips about places to visit and we were able to rent a scooter.

we wanted to rent a scooter which was a bit more expensive then we were used to + we got it with an empty tank (so we had to drive to the tank station) which made it more expensive

The location is very close to the centre (walking distance). The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The view from the room was breathtakingly beautiful. Good value for money for sure! Definitely the best accomodation from all the places we stayed at while in Sri Lanka!

Hidden gem with amazing views of Ella rock, lush green hills and Ravana waterfall. Perfect breakfast with both lankese and western options, and plenty! Everything was clean and comfortable. AC works well, so does how water. Walking distance to the main road where all restaurants are, which we appreciated, as we prefer to be away from the noise. Owner has a tuktuk and picked us up from the train as agreed.

Beautiful location, lovely and peaceful. Breakfast on your private terrace was amazing. Walkable into the main town but less than £1 by tuk tuk.

Great private terrace with beautiful views. Peaceful place yet only a 10 minute walk up to the centre. Shan has a tuk tuk and will take you at local prices. Super spacious clean room. Only two rooms here so very private. e Excellent breakfast on the terrace. Perfect. Shan very professional and helpful.

Lovely place, a little bit away from the main town so it's very peaceful, no traffic noise, and amazing views. Owner is professional and helpful. Rooms were surprisingly well equipped, fridge, small TV, sofa, air con, hairdryer, nice hot shower. 10/10, would recommend this place, it's in a much nicer area than other hotels. Easy access to walks. Thanks
