This charming house was a perfect place for a family of 7 to celebrate high school graduations over a long weekend. We all said we wished we could’ve stayed longer. Plenty of space to spread out or all hang together. Beds are very comfortable, excellent AC, well stocked kitchen, plenty of beach towels, high end grill, and the screened in porch was a wonderful place to have coffee in the am or an evening beverage. Ping pong table and laundry in basement. Pool was clear and perfect for all ages since one end is shallower and other end is deep. Plenty of sturdy deck seating and dining, both indoors and out. Excellent location, easy drive to both Baltimore and Annapolis. We also rented a pontoon boat with a captain for 4 hours at a nearby marina. We packed up a cooler of beverages and snacks and took the kids tubing, we all had a blast (a little expensive but was worth it!) As others have mentioned, the amazingly beautiful view, watching the osprey nest and the dock make this home a unique property and we will be renting for a whole week in the near future. Barbara was responsive and pleasure to work with. We can’t wait to come back. You will love this place!!

This was a lovely home in a great neighborhood. The backyard leading up to the water with a pool and private dock make this home an absolute winner. Our family enjoyed the views, sunshine and watching the falcons nested a mere 40 yards away. The yard is completely fenced and great for people who travel with pets. Our dog even took the leap off of the dock! Barbara was easy to deal with and the communication was seamless. We visited our midshipman who really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the property and being able to unwind. The little town also offered great food options and everything you would need for your stay less than five minutes away.

Great location, quiet neighborhood, beautiful view of the water, spacious home, and welcoming hosts! Easy access to restaurants, not far from Annapolis. Well equipped kitchen; able to cook meals we planned. Lots of windows with great views. Would love to visit when it is warm enough to use the pool.

We had an enjoyable stay. Barbara, our host made everything easy and smooth. The house was great, the neighborhood was very nice and the view was amazing. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to make our Thanksgiving dinner a delicous one. Very clean as well.

The neighborhood and property were ideal for a quiet weekend. We were visiting our mid at USNA and it had everything he needed to unplug. The porch was relaxing and a great way to start and end the day, having a living room, den and porch gave us space needed to relax. Being able to grill was also a treat. The yard was perfect for our dog to run and plan. My only negative is that the picture of bedrooms shows 4 bedrooms. There are only 3 (which is what the actual listing said). This time that was not a problem, but could have been if our whole family was there. Again, just inconsistent on the visual given under amenities for "bedrooms"

We enjoyed our vacation very much! Being right on the river and having a pool there too was wonderful! Barbara was very nice to deal with and she answered all our questions. Hope to come back again!

Property was as pictured. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen is very well stocked. The owners answered all questions promptly. The view and the pool are amazing. Totally enjoyed our stay.

We had the best time swimming in the awesome pool and fishing on the dock. The house was perfect and so was Barbara. She made every go so smoothly!

We stayed for a long weekend for a wedding. Very comfortable and relaxing. Spent afternoons out by the pool and were entertained by the active osprey nest just off the dock. Barbara was very responsive to our needs. Highly recommend!

we had a wonderful stay - Barbara was so accommodating and the setting was so beautiful - unfortunately we had to take my husband to the hospital at the end which makes us especially grateful for that time away together - he is recovering

What an amazing month! I could not ask for a more perfect setting or lovely home. We enjoyed visiting with family and friends, all raved about Barbara and Alan's home. Our hosts were friendly and responded to all questions and needs within a few minutes. Weather allowed us to enjoy the pool. Relaxing next to the river was amazing and we saw a variety of birds from a hummingbird to an eagle, plus an otter and turtle. Words cannot express how perfect this month has been. We look forward to being able to book this lovely home again. Thank you to Barbara and Alan for sharing their home.

My husband and rented this home with our two adult daughters and their partners. My son-in-law loved fishing off the pier. The 20 somethings enjoyed the ping pong table and the pool. The screened porch was perfect. This location is about 15 minutes to downtown Annapolis, very convenient. The fenced yard was perfect for our furry family members.

The house is spacious, clean and quaint. I had a handful of friends and family stay for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. The porch, pool and pier were our favorite places to be. The view is like no other, you have to experience it for yourself. It was the perfect place to celebrate! Thank you!

Thank you Barbara and Alan Grochal. We had a lovely time hosting Christmas at your house. Being from the area, and now living in Florida, it was the perfect location for friends and relatives to join us for the holidays. From the beautiful view of sunrise over the water to the quiet nights. Both the living room and the family room have big windows, offering a beautiful view of the Little Magothy River. We loved the wood burning fireplace & the pellet burning stove/fireplace, both warmed each room and added to the charm of the house. We made very good use of the 2 dinning room tables each seating 6 people, plus the extra chairs available provided plenty of seating. The kitchen is full of pots, pans, dishes, plastics, spices, cups and glasses, nice toaster oven, and blender. Plus we added and left extra wine glasses and coffee mugs. We really enjoyed the separate hot boiling water feature attached to sink, great for a quick cup of tea. There is also 2 buffets that have serving trays, glass bowls, and even a set of china for your elegant evening dinner. The 2 bathrooms, 1 downstairs by the 2 bedrooms and 1 very private one upstairs for the master bedroom. Both have plenty of room and plenty of towels. The downstairs basement has a nice ping-pong-table, and large washer and dryer. Plenty of room to hang out. 2 flat screen TVs in house, one in Master and one in family room with pellet stove. The WiFi worked well and helped us stay connected. The house is warm, comfortable, bright and cheery. The fenced in yard was great for our little 5lb dog to run, but beware a beautiful fox roams across the property by the water in the morning. The owners were a phone call away and very helpful. There is also a large built in pool with outside grill and tables and chairs, all viewing the water and pier. Thank you again for sharing your house and making our Christmas a memorable 2018 event.

The house is in a quiet neighborhood with everything you need close by, grocery and spirits stores, restaurants, and gas station. We went during the winter months so we were able to enjoy the pool, but I'm sure it is just as beautiful in the summertime. If we ever make it back to Annapolis again we will be sure to stay here!

We rented this property multiple times for months at a time. Our son was a Midshipman and it was a great place for him and his friends to get away and just hang out. The owners are fantastic and accommodating. It is close enough to get downtown quickly yet far enough away to be special. I only wish we had brought our boat as it is right on the water. Summer or winter, it is a fantastic place.

This a beautiful home on the Little Magothy. Our stay (2 x Adults 1 x teenager and a dog) was truly wonderful, a pool to swim beautiful views, location perfect to Downtown Annapolis. The local shops convenient to keep up on required things. The grassed area perfect to throw a ball for our dog and the street a beautiful walk in the morning and evening with access to a tiny private community beach a short walk away. The house is homely and it was wonderful to spend the day doing nothing and or visiting the surrounding areas and coming back to relax and swim. Barbara and Alan are wonderful hosts and responded quickly to our communication and ensured a wonderful experience. This is an amazing memory to return to Australia with thank you!

We just spent a week at a most perfect home on the Little Magothy. We were very happy with everything about our vacation stay. The location is exactly what we needed, a quiet street on a tranquil waterway with the Chesapeake right next door. The fishing and crabbing was a plus. The well appointed modern home left nothing to be desired.Three generations loved the pool everyday we spent there. The yard was big enough for kickball games and tossing a frisbee. The best memory of this vacation was listening to my 3 yr. old granddaughter repeat to herself while falling asleep, "We are having so much fun, this is so much fun..." We are eager to book again.
