Our grandkids joined us later for an afternoon swim. A grocery store is nearby and there are excellent restaurants within walking distance. Hiking was a 20 minute drive away which is one of the reasons I love this area. The beds are super comfortable with high end sheets. Location, location, location - cannot say enough about the location of this property if you want to be close to Paramount Studio Tour (across the street), near Hollywood sign, Hollywood Blvd, Griffiths Park, Mullholland Drive, Pasadena, the Getty, downtown LA, Santa Monica, etc. This is house is perfectly situated in the middle of everything. We have a new found appreciation for Los Angeles. It is hard to say enough about the home itself. It is immaculate. The furniture and fixtures are well-styled and comfortable. Everything in the house was well-stocked. While we normally have to buy pantry items, this house had everything we needed and toilet paper/paper towels. The backyard area, including the pool, hot tub, grill, chairs and table were all comfortable and we used them every day. And, the neighborhood was very quiet, surprisingly so. Hubby and I went on our daily walk each morning - the neighborhood is walkable. And, in a short driving distance there are too many great restaurants to choose from! Tim is very helpful. We had a few questions during our stay and he was very responsive. Thanks for hosting us! We would stay here again!

This place has everything you need for a comfortable stay: well-equipped kitchen if you want to cook or a short walk to Larchmont Blvd for a variety of shops & restaurants. Hot tub is ready for you upon returning home from exploring. Our family of 5 (3 sons in their 20s) had plenty of space and comfortable beds. Walk to the Paramount Studio tour and an easy 15 minute drive to Universal Studios.

This home is absolutely beautiful! From the moment we walked in we felt the warmth and comfort of our home away from home. There was plenty of room for all of us to share meals, play board games and watch TV together in front of a roaring fire. The outside was inviting with all of its lush landscaping, hot tub and gorgeous pool. The location provided us with many options for entertainment and dining. We will definitely plan a repeat visit. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the L.A. area.

This townhouse is spacious, beautifully decorated, and well-stocked. Our family of six adults stayed here for three nights in late December and loved this place! There was plenty of room in the kitchen, dining room and living room downstairs for our family. The layout of the bedrooms upstairs allowed us to spread out and enjoy some privacy. Although it was too cold to swim in the pool, we enjoyed the hot tub outdoors after long days of sight-seeing. The location was perfect for our needs -- it was nice to be able to walk to Paramount Studios for our tour, and grocery stores, restaurants, and movie theaters were a short drive away. Tim was responsive to my texts and questions. I would highly recommend this townhouse for anyone looking for a spacious and convenient place to stay in LA.

We spent 5 nights at this wonderful home! The layout and design is beautiful! Attention to detail, gorgeous woodwork, lovely artwork, comfortable furniture. We slept better here than in our own beds, and we're very picky! Such a perk to have the tranquil outdoor space for dining, relaxing and swimming. Street parking is easy, walking distance from town, kitchen is fully stocked. It did NOT feel like a rental...more like a good friend's home! Will definitely return!!

This home is in a wonderful location near to pretty Larchmont Village, with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The house is beautiful and clean, with lots of ‘little’ things thought of to make your stay easier... washing tablets, dishwasher tablets, bin bags, pool towels, extra blankets and bath towels.... it was lovely to have everything there for you at the start of your stay. The house has three good size bedrooms - a large double bed in the master room with ensuite, a normal double bed in the 2nd room and two twin beds in the third bedroom. There is a bathroom to share between rooms 2&3. There is also a washer and dryer, a lounge, dining room and well-equipped kitchen. Outside is the hot tub in a pretty courtyard, with the pool beyond in the garden. The neighbourhood is safe, and the house itself is completely gated in, so you feel safe and secure at night. Our hosts were friendly and helpful- there was a very minor problem with the electric gates one day, but this was rectified immediately. We really couldn’t fault this wonderful property and will definitely be returning again when we visit LA.

My family and I have rented many VRBO (and similar) properties and this one is HANDS DOWN the nicest, most luxurious, most thoughtful home we've had the pleasure of enjoying. Tim thought of every possible detail to make our stay comfortable -- from wine & biscotti, coffee/tea/spices, and laundry products to fresh orchids and plants; from thick pool towels to interesting and beautiful original art and antiques -- all in a contemporary, rich, lovely atmosphere. Everything is there for a fabulous time! The beds are extremely comfortable with high quality linens and the swimming pool is one of the prettiest and most private we've seen. The entire place -- inside and out -- is immaculate! THEN, there's the location...right in the middle of LA, close to sights, yet a little tropical oasis in the charming Larchmont neighborhood with restaurants close-by and Paramount Pictures just one block away (we had a blast on their VIP Tour). We had the IDEAL combination of touring and loving our downtime in this home. In fact, our only "complaint" is that it was difficult to leave it to sightsee and it was very hard to leave when our LA vacation ended! Thanks, Tim, for sharing this special place. The house lived up to our very high expectations Prefect in every way. The pool was lovely and prefect if you have children. The house is beautifully furnished. Many good restaurants on Melrose which is less than 5 minutes walk Our favourites were in Larchmont just a bit further. Would love to return

I have stayed in this beautiful house for 3 nights with my family. At any time we would love to come back and stay here for a longer time. The house was very clean when we arrived, and we loved the wine and the cookies we got from the owner. We will at any time recommend this house for a vacation.

Great home to stay for our family vacation. We came to LA for a family wedding & spent the week afterwards in this home to explore LA. It was the perfect location to nearby family & Larchmont shops & restaurants. Universal studios is close as well as many other sites to see. Our kids enjoyed the pool & we enjoyed the comforts of the home! We would definitely recommend!

We stayed for three nights this summer during a two week vacation through California. The home was a wonderful break from hotels and Tim was a fabulous host. He was very responsive whenever we contacted him. The location of the home is convenient to all you would want to do in LA but tucked in a quiet lovely neighborhood. The backyard area was wonderful to relax in and you can easily walk down the street to Larchmont village for food if desired. We have stayed at several VRBO's on our trips and this is definitely among the top ones we have stayed in. Thank you Tim again for all your help.

This is our 3rd time renting this wonderful property and as always we have had a fantastic time. The location is perfect - we walked to Larchmont village for the farmers market and for breakfast and used Uber to go to restaurants. The house is very well equipped and has a lovely pool. The owner Tim is very helpful and pleasant to deal with and very quick to respond to questions. We can't wait to come back again!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this gorgeous home! Everything about this home and its owner, Tim, is perfect. I reiterate all the other positive reviews of this home, as it is a fantastic getaway. As a former 20-year resident of Los Angeles, I can assure you that you cannot go wrong with this home and its location. My family and I recently moved to Oregon (from Los Angeles) and this home would be my number 1 place to stay any time we come visit again in the future! The house has everything you need. The kitchen has everything you may need too. However, we didn't cook because Los Angeles has some of the best restaurants in the world, so we spent most of our trip eating out at our favorite restaurants. This home (it is a side-by-side duplex) is so gorgeously appointed, decorated, and furnished. It is such a gorgeous, super CLEAN, and organized home that I was slightly worried about damaging something, so if you're a messy or a disrespectful person, this home may not be the best fit for you. The front and back yard are beautifully landscaped. The fragrant smell of the jasmine blooming in the front yard is so welcoming... I miss it all already. The pool is fantastic and huge! The pictures don't do this home justice. Tim has taken care of all the details, I really appreciate how all the light switches had labels on them (that's how well thought-out this home is). The owner, Tim, is super responsive, accommodating, and seems like an all-around awesome person. My family and I lived a few blocks from this home when we used to live in Los Angeles, so I truly enjoy the location. Los Angeles is a huge city with lots of sprawl, so make sure this is the right location for you before booking. I think the Larchmont neighborhood is a great, central location (halfway to downtown LA and halfway to the beach). Larchmont Blvd. is a short walk and has charming shops, restaurants, and a great yoga studio called Yogaworks. Tips to future travelers: request to have the pool heated prior to your arrival (extra fee). The pool is amazing! Also, bring your own shampoo and conditioner (this is the only thing that isn't provided, the house has everything else you may need!)
