Very nice property. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds. Close to boardwalk to beach. The main beach view is only partial (substantially blocked by another building), but you do have a nice view of the bay side out the back. We received the email the day of check in from Vacasa, but it didn’t include the door code. We called Vacasa. They answered promptly and were helpful. They weren’t able to get the door code, but did give us a lock box code for a key. Later that evening, the code was eventually sent to us. It wasn’t great that we had to work through this check in issue, but having the responsive management company made it pretty stress free.

It was very good however we would have liked to be given more notice of early check in and we had to struggle to get the password for our room because it was not sent

Beautiful Condo with fantastic ocean and bay views (sun rise and set!)that is nicely furnished including he beds linens and decorating. Plenty of TV screens with cable service. There is free reserved parking for one car and additional parking for more (on Jul 4th weekend they mostly taken) but we had no problems with parking our 2 vehicles. We loved our stay. However there were a couple issues that were a bit off putting: -->The code for the digital door lock did not open to the code. Our daughter, son in-law, and 7 month old grandson arrived first and moved all their baby required items upstairs only to not be able to get in. After 2 calls to the management company (first was accidentally disconnected by the CSR within two minutes of getting through after a 12 minute "all reps are busy" wait. The second red fixed the issue, but the wait to speak with them was about the same length. That was a long time to wait in the TX July heat. -->Elevator worked sporadically (of course checkout morning, it was down :( the pool area could use more shade(maybe not an issue except major holidays/) The others were minor in comparison, and we DID enjoy our stay. One thing we discovered that most guests will appreciate. It is possible to walk to and from the pool by going through the covered parking decks of each building-nice break from the sun!

We have lived all over the USA and rented many homes and condo. This ranks amongst the best (top 10%) of vacation rentals we’ve stayed in. We spent three days during our summer vacation and absolutely loved our stay. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend. Here’s what we loved: - Location in Pointe West which is quiet and tucked away from the strand and main Galveston - Views of the Gulf (sunrise) and Bay (sunset) - Access to the beach and two pools plus a restaurant and fitness center - Spacious and modern layout with all the comforts of home. Plent of room for our big family - 3 bathrooms and comfy beds - Water pressure was fine despite some of the reviews - Paperwork on hand explaining everything we neeed to know. - Plenty of towels (beach and bath) and linen - Kitchen has modern appliances, well stocked items which is a rarity What we would like to see improve: - Elevator wasn’t working when we checked in. It was fixed and worked on our way out - Check in is at 4 pm and the front office closed at 5 pm. We were able to get temporary access to the pool area with a staff member on hand after hours - Extra charges for pool access - for what we paid it should be included.

This condo was perfect! Clean, updated. Great location. Had everything you needed and more. Even had outlet covers for my grandson! We will be back.

We had a spectacular stay. This house was very well set up with everything we needed in the kitchen. Clean and roomy. My only wish would be for a few more towels, but really it wasn’t that big of a deal. Beds were comfortable :) it’s clear the owners care about their home and delivering a quality vacation space for their guests.

The unit was very clean and had a fully equipped kitchen. It is super close to a pretty nice beach and a very short drive from the beach club (you could walk if you don’t have a lot of stuff with you). If you use a lot of paper towels or plan on doing more than a couple loads of laundry, you may want to bring your own paper towels and laundry detergent. Before we left, management told me there was no pack and play, but there actually is one in one of the closets. It would have been nice to know so we didn’t have to bring our own. The biggest downfall of the unit is there are no curtains anywhere, just blinds, so it made it pretty hard to nap or sleep in (or especially for my kids). Other than that, it was a great time, and I would definitely come back.

This was our second year to stay in Sand Swept. It's a lovely and well maintained condo. Hats off to the owners. The condo is nicely furnished and the kitchen is well stocked with all the equipment we needed. Thank you for another wonderful vacation at Pointe West!

Very nice house great views. Just not clean.

This condo was very clean, quite and all furnishings have been updated this condo is well maintained. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and dishes. However, I felt the owner should have left more than 2 dish towels and 1/2 roll of paper towels for 7 people. The staff members at the Beach Club were not friendly. The pool at the Beach Club was small. However, it’s a short walk to the beach and it’s beautiful. I wish the owner would of had floats, wagon, etc. for the beach. This condo Is 15-20 miles from The Strand and Galveston Seawall. I would prefer to be closer. If you’re looking for a quite secluded place, this condo will be a great place for you.

Everything was great. I liked the kitchen and kitchen pantry and abudant utensils the most. Also many thoughtful supplies. These people thought of everything people really need to enjoy themselves. Best of any beach house I have ever stayed in. I really liked several pieces of the artwork. Beds and bedding were comfortable. Staff on premises friendly. Plenty of tvs, great location, no parking problems. Would definitely recommend for any family vacation. Elevator and trash chute a real bonus! Beautiful beach and pools. Nice view and plentiful balcony furniture. Plus extra balcony. Loved it.

Brought my daughter and 5 friends down for 2 days with two other moms. The girls had the best time playing on the beach, hanging around the pool area, and sitting on the balcony. The place was well equipped, had lots of room and we loved every minute of our trip.

Great weekend with family. Only thing is there was no hand soap and a very small thing of dish soap. Otherwise a great weekend!

We celebrated our daughter’s sweet 16 birthday. It was a perfect stay. Clean, easy check-in and check-out, good location, close to boardwalk to beach and clubhouse, and beautiful grounds.

We had a small issue when we arrived but the issue was resolved quickly. We loved the resort and the location of the unit. Lots of amenities which is nice since it’s away from the hustle and bustle of the sea wall.

Had a great week with our family. This condo has great views and easy access to the beach and club house. Definitely would recommend this condo for rental.

The resort had great options for the kids with 2 pools (1 which was a small lazy river), and of course the ocean. there was a bridge over the dunes to the beach, which was clean, and lovely for playing in the sand or walking. Would certainly book agin.

We spend some much needed family time.

Really great condo, we loved the location! The kitchen was well stocked with pots and plates/silverware/cups. There was also enough towels for our group (2 adults, six kids age 5-11). The main pool area was a quick walk away, the beach was even closer. Our only hiccup was that for some reason the supplied key code didn't work, but it was resolved within ten minutes on the phone.

This was our 9th year at Pointe West in Galveston. We love it there and this year was just as much fun as all the other years. Condos are beautiful and well maintained and the Beach Club is great too.

After being quarantined during the pandemic it was such a joy to get out on the beach ,play in the ocean and soak in the sun. All the amenities were were fabulous! The condo was clean and well stocked with everything needed.

The location, the decor, and the arrangement of this site were perfect. It was easy to walk to the beach and the pool. We had been advised to load up on supplies on the way in because the closest retail store of any kind was dollar general about 20 minutes away. That was good advice. The dryer was broken which was inconvenient. The manager did try valiantly to get it repaired too now avail. All that said, I expected to bring in food but as a party of 10 we only had 3 rolls of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, no laundry detergent so had to go back for those things. We were missing one set of sheets. We did have plenty of pillows! I would definitely stay there again. Beautiful beautiful place to enjoy time with the family

We enjoyed staying at this property. It was out first time at PointWest in Galveston. The only drawback was finding the refrigerator full of old food from previous guests and the red sofa bed which was very uncomfortable. Other than that, we had a blast and enjoyed family time.
