Our family of five loved this house! It's central looking out over Hawke's Bay and a short walk to Napier centre. Compact but good-sized bedrooms/living space and plenty of free parking. Nicely done up, while also keeping the area's Deco character. Highly recommended, will stay again.

Great location & pretty clean. But felt like the absolute minimum required. One bedroom had no other furniture, so everything has to go on the floor; no rail/hooks for shower towels; not enough crockery for number of beds (had to do breakfast in shifts); could really do with lamps, coasters, pictures, anything to make it homely.

The property was in a good location close to the city with spacious lounge and bedrooms. Tea and milk provided. Hope to stay again.

The house is comfortable and easy to stay in. Nothing super flash but original style and has what you need, plus very comfortable beds. Close to the waterfront and just a short walk to town centre.

We loved the property, lots of original features, close to the centre. Beds great standard., hotel standard 👍, . The kitchen items could be improved, tons of knives, but no bread knife, 3 dessert spoons and , 3 bowls only .. as commented on in other reviews A little effort could improve the stay ,and the weeds out the front don’t enhance the property . We would stay again , overall it suited our needs.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay, the location was great, literally across the Napier Beach. The house itself and the facilities were clean upon arrival. There are two bedrooms that are beside the road, so you'd hear cars and motorbikes pass that was the only thing that was kind of annoying. But overall, great place to stay and would book again if visiting Napier in future.

Comfortable, private and spacious home, very close to the centre of town. Beds and linen were very nice. Cleaning not quite to standard but manageable for a couple of nights.

Great location! The property is bigger than we were expecting. It has a lovely outlook. As the house is built right by the roadside it is quite noisy at night, but we felt this was a small price to pay for the convenience of the location.

Location and house is very centrally. Parks, beaches, shops, supermarkets is very close by. Kitchen utensils is very old and not enough. TV need to update. Most of the places have smart tv now so can steaming Netflix or YouTube. Thank you.

Overall we were pleased with our choice and we would stay again. We were a party of two couples and one single female. All over 40. As we arrived during a very hot period the road noise was an issue for sleeping as the air conditioning was only in the lounge and the bedrooms were very hot and stuffy. Privacy requirements meant the curtains were pulled preventing any external air circulation and doors were also closed. Long-term, units may need to be in each bedroom to address this. I was a bit confused at first about check-in and had to message to find out what to do. An email confirming the booking with instructions would prevent this. Personally I would like more cleaning products to maintain the property during my stay including washing up liquid. Thank you to Edgewater motel. They were great.

The property was fairly basic but very comfortable & clean with a decent shower. Ideal location for us.

Very comfortable stay in this home. All amenities and very clean with plenty of lounge seating and quality bed linen and towels In a great location near the sea shore and Napier city centre. Plenty of storage in inner courtyard too.

We only stayed one night but we appreciated the extra space and facilities.

Everything in the home is excellent, except the kitchen a bit small. Also the communication needs improvements on that area.

My friends and I enjoyed staying in a house as opposed to a motel room as it gave us the ability to hang out in the lounge. We liked how close it was to town. Clean and tidy with everything you need.

We found the property warm, clean, comfortable and well located. The beach was just a quick walk across the road, the warehouse was across the road for anything we'd forgotten

We loved our stay in Napier, it was great to come back to our wee house for our stay at the end of each day. Great to be so central and the stay was quieter that we expected (due to location on Marine Parade).
