The stay was so delightful and peaceful. I loved the place and the area. The accommodations were comfortable and beautifully maintained, making it feel like a home away from home. The surrounding neighborhood was charming and offered plenty of opportunities for relaxing walks and exploring local attractions. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met. I can't wait to return for another stay. Highly recommended!

We stayed 3 nights - easy walk to beach, safe neighborhood, easy parking with on-site garage and pre-approved parking for my brother’s car on street. Kye and Elena were exceptionally gracious and informative. Kitchen worked fine for us. Outdoor small patio a big plus and weather was such we ate breakfasts and dinners at the round patio table.

(My apologies for the late review!) I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Starfish Cottage! Kye and Elena are true Superhosts who are very communicative, helpful, and kind. They don't have a ton of outrageous rules like some properties I have seen listed, either. The cottage itself is cute, clean, and in a great location. (It felt like my private apartment!) During my stay I was able to walk to the beach in 5 minutes, or the grocery store in 10. A lot of restaurants were also walkable in the same time frames. Overall I had an awesome time, I would recommend this property to anyone traveling alone or with a couple people. Kye was also nice enough to show me the other Starfish property (looks great!) and I would love to bring my family along there one day! If not, I would love to visit Starfish Cottage again. We had a wonderful stay in this charming cottage. Host was easy to communicate with and checked to make sure we were happy. It's a block from a very nice beach and a short walk to the heart of Seal Beach's main street. Try Sweet Jill's Bakery, Angelo's Italian Deli for the best sandwiches, and Bruster's ice cream.

The host were great, and easy to communicate with. Everything in walking distance. Im glad they shared their Starfish Cottage with us.

Nice 4 day visit to Seal Beach. Great little cottage to call home for four days; close to beach, short walk to shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed our Seal Beach mini-vacation.

Was the perfect location for our weekend getaway! Love this area and the fact you can walk to the beach and shops on Main.

Overall everything was great. Just a heads up to note which is not noted in the Vrbo contract, there is an expectation for you to strip the bed and start the load of sheets and pillow cases. Not a big deal, just give yourself extra time if you have a plane to catch;-). Location is great. Walking distance to the beach and all shops downtown. Our hosts were always available and easy to work with! Recommend this place to any couple.

My daughter and I stayed here and it was perfect. Very quiet, family friendly neighborhood. We were able to walk to everything. Walked at night with no problems, the beach is right there, people in the town are very friendly - we will be back! Cute little casita, I liked that we had a garage to park in. Incredibly quiet.

This cottage is better than listing says. Parking garage is a major plus. They also had everything you needed in the kitchen and plenty of extra linens and towels. Loved that they had all the beach accessories even things for the kids. Property manager was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. Excellent communication. Clean and private!

Kai and Elena were absolutely wonderful! They worked with me on our arrival time knowing I had two kiddos in tow. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a success. They communicated everything so clearly with instructions and notes. The cottage was so clean and had everything we needed. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay!

Such a great time at this house. Very well maintained beach cottage with lots of character. Walk to beach, restaurants and shopping. The house had everything you could possibly need including beach gear. Owners nearby and very attentive Can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful time decompressing from a big wedding in Hollywood. It felt a little snug at first but we got used to it and we were able to easily stroll to the beach/pier and many nice restaurants and shops. Communication with owner was great, very personable and responsive.

We had a wonderful time staying at Starfish Cottage over Labor Day Weekend. It was close to the beach, shopping, restaurants and the pier. We walked everywhere and everything was just minutes from the cottage. Our hosts were so polite and communicated very well! We highly recommend this property and any others managed by our hosts Kye and Elena!

My husband and I stayed here for 6 days to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and found Starfish Cottage to be a charming place to spend that much time. It was very, very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Seal Beach is really a magical place; between proximity to the beach, town, pier and the greenbelt median, this cottage will put you right where you want to be. Our communication with Kye and Elena was stellar; if you need anything, they are only a few minutes away. We have lived in a rural location for many years but found this place to be even quieter than the country. Not sure how that happens, but there is no road or highway noise, and all of the neighbors seem to respect the Seal Beach reputation for peace and quiet. This place is wonderful!

My husband and I loved the stay in Seal Beach. The cottage was perfect for the 2 of us. Parking was not a problem as we got to use half of a 2 car garage. The owner Ky was there to greet us & show us the ropes & great restaurant suggestions. He was also very responsive when we called about batteries for the remote 😀. The only negative I can even think of was the shower was pretty small. Definitely a do again.

The cottage was great. A wonderful location, just a block from the beach. Very quiet neighborhood and you can walk everywhere. Close to all the restaurants and shopping. the cottage had plenty of space and very comfortable for 2 people. We were there 4 nights and would have liked to stay longer. There is a washer, but coin operated. A nice garage for your can and plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas. 3 grocery stores within 10 minutes. The owner was very accommodating and checked in with me to make sure everything was good. Would stay there again if we return to Seal Beach.

My family and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this rental! The owners, Elena and Kye have to be to most kind and thoughtful hosts and they roll out the red carpet for their guests. The Starfish Cottage is exactly as described and pictured on the rental website. The cottage is clean and stocked with everything my family needed to have a fun filled, relaxing vacation. The location is perfect, set in the beautiful town of Seal Beach, off the busy highway and steps away from the sand and ocean. The community is gorgeous with beach houses, restaurants and shops, just a short walk down the boardwalk. Thank you so much to Elena and Kye for a fantastic vacation, filled with memories we will treasure UNTIL we book again for next year!

This little house was perfect for the 3 of us. We could walk to the beach and to the main street quickly. It was nice not having to move our car all weekend. My only suggestion would be to maybe make the back patio for the back house and the front patio for the front house, to ensure everyone gets a place to spend time outside. No complaints though! Our stay was great and the hosts were amazing.

This property feels like a home away from home. It is a short walk to the beach, pier and Main Street where there are plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. We parked the car when we arrived and didn't move it until we left. My only complaint is that we didn't stay longer!

This property was perfect for our little vacation. Close to the beach, and all the amenities you need for a short vacation. Kye was super friendly and educated us on everything close by. We loved how he gave all the instructions to our 8 year old and made him feel important.

Our cottage was perfect. 1-location was perfect. A block to beach, a few small blocks to the adorable Main Street and a couple minutes by car to major stores. 2-the cottage itself was adorable and had everything we needed. 3-communication with owner was timely and informative. 4-check in/out was seamless. 5- did I mention the location? It was perfect in every way! Can’t wait to stay here again!
