Exactly what we were looking for!!! James was excellent, and we will be back!

We loved the location of Pointe West. The beach wasn’t too crowded and the condo was equidistant between 2 boardwalks for access to the beach. We liked being on the bottom floor because we only had one flight of stairs to walk, but the people walking in the unit above us was pretty loud. I’d rather deal with that then walking up to the 3rd floor though. Communication was great w/ a binder of info we needed to know. The property manager responded quickly to questions and fixed a minor issue we had. I didn’t like that the community had raised the wristband price to $25 per person after we booked. We only ended up going to the pool once and unfortunately the restaurant was still closed. There were plenty of meal options within about 15 minutes, which we didn’t mind. The condo was well stocked and we appreciated the provided towels. The balcony is large and we enjoyed the view and breeze in the afternoons and evenings. We also enjoyed the provided games. We didn’t have any tv/WiFi/elevator issues. The covered and reserved parking spot was great. We had a great time and would stay here again.

This condo was a great location with easy access to the beach. It had all the amenities we needed. The only thing I would mention is instructions for the living room tv. We were technically challenged & couldn’t figure out how to get to live tv channels but no issues with the bedroom tvs. Thanks!

We have stayed at Point West Resort many times before and always have a good time. We were looking forward to food and beverage service by the pool and no where was it stated it was closed for renovation on VRBO site. Our condo had a nice view but a few suggestions: comfortable chairs in sitting area. Round chairs are awful, need new knives or have them sharpened. They don’t cut anything. Master bed is super soft.

Property was very clean and great for a family with kids. We appreciated the pack and play and booster seat! It was also great to not have to worry about packing paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, etc. So much was provided for us! Condo was located near beach access and pool.

Such a fun weekend, comfortable space and bed, great views! Easy access to clean beach and pool club.

We enjoyed our stay so much. Loved the amenities and comfortable settings. Easy access to the beach. Everything was just so easy. We will be back.

One of the nicest condos we have stayed in at Pointe West. Great view and proximity to ocean. Kitchen is well stocked which makes cooking so much easier. Excellent communication from rental company. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved being on the quieter, less crowded end of the island. Perfectly located unit close to the beach club, close to the beach entrance with unobstructed views of the gulf. Really nice unit had everything we that we needed and owner was very responsive to minor question that I needed to text to him on a Saturday morning. We would definitely stay here in this same unit again.

We really enjoy ed our stay at this property. The balcony had a beautiful view, and the beds were very comfortable. Beach was a bit of a walk, but the pool and Pointe restaurant were great.

We always stay at Pointe West when visiting Galveston because of the great amenities. We have two toddlers and this condo was perfect for our family of 4. If you have little ones, this place is for you! You won't need to pack much as saw a pack n play and a high chair in one of the closets. They also had a wagon with beach toys. As well as plates, cups, utensils and bibs for your little ones. Great quality too! Save room and ask what they have for your littles. When a place caters to our children and helps make these tired parents lives easier, you can guarantee we will be back!

This was our second time renting this particular unit and loved it just as much as the first time. The unit has just everything you'd need to enjoy a fun filled kid-friendly family vacation. Plenty of space for our 2 and 4 year old to roam around, easy walking distance to the beach and pool, in a clean and safe location. We'll definitely be back again!

This was our second summer to stay in this condo. We came back because of our experience here. The condo “room” itself is one of the cleanest places I’ve stayed, one of the reasons we keep coming back. They mean it when they say all you need to bring is your clothes and personal items, they supply the rest. The condo itself is right on the beach which makes walking to the beach a breeze. There was plenty of room for our family to sleep, we especially enjoy the bunk bed room. The washer and dryer makes “sandy” days just a quick wash away. Because of the location of the resort, we had multiple days of what felt like the beach all to ourselves. The resort itself has a pool, gift shop, and restaurant. The restaurant was great to order and take back to the condo. They also made “mocktails” for us and our children to enjoy! Overall, our experience both years has been excellent and we will continue to return.

Will definitely book again!

Everything you need for a great trip with your small children. The Beach Club is amazing. Terrific view.

This is our third year staying here and we simply love it. The location, pool, private beach and the space is so cozy with great ocean views. We always come back!

The property was clean and plenty of room for us and our 4yo and 2yo daughters. They even had a pack n play and bumbo seat in the bunk closet but we already brought our own. The beach was less than 5 min walk down the elevator and walk across the boardwalk. Used the beach Buggy provided in the unit for the beach but used our own double stroller to walk to the beach club pool & restaurant. The beach was WAY better than expected - our friend group agreed we don’t need to fly/drive to FL! Our girls absolutely loved going to the beach or pool all day! Loved the community!

We had a great time as a family of four at this gorgeous condo. It had everything we need, the owner communicated quickly, and most importantly, we had a blast!

Beautiful unit with all you could want as far as supplies for your trip. The cart for beach supplies was great and the kitchen and laundry is fully stocked. The kids loved the bunk beds and mom and dad had plenty of room in the master. The unit is steps away from two short strolls over the dune to the beach: when has a ramp/stairs the other just stairs. You are close to the pool and hot tub. We would cool off in the pool after being at the beach. Not crowded at all. Laid back crowd everyday we were there. They have food and poolside service Pick up your wristbands before 5pm or call security to get temp wristbands to access the pool. The attendant there was nice to let us in our first night since we came later. Beach is nice with plenty of room. We would set out on the patio with a great view of the ocean each night. It’s a first floor unit but you are elevated enough to see the ocean. Designated parking under the unit which was great as well. You are 30-35 min from the Seawall, definitely will be back.

Great beachfront condo! Fully furnished with everything you’ll need. Comfortable bed and pillows in the master bedroom. Great view and close proximity to the beach and pool.

Great location, just as advertised, and communication from owner was very timely. Highly recommend.

We've historically vacationed on Florida's gulf coast, but decided to try Galveston Island and this property exceeded all of our expectations. The condo had everything we needed and comes with a great view of the gulf. James, with Best of the West Galveston, was great to work with an we plan to book this property again in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pointe West. The view of the ocean from the balcony was completely unobstructed which is one of our main objectives in renting a place on the beach. The condo was clean and comfortable. We like to do all our own cooking while there and when we realized that the kitchen was missing a sharp knife, we texted the manager just an FYI, not expecting anything. He was there within 15 minutes with sharp knives and not only that, the next day he brought over several items that he had ordered from Amazon to complete a well equipped kitchen. He was very courteous and kept us apprised of procedures through texting. We would definitely rent from Best of the West and James again and feel confident that anything we needed would be provided.
