We had a wonderful trip during our recent anniversary getaway. Princeville is a beautiful area, and the view from this unit was absolutely beautiful. We saw dolphins and whales the first few days, and then some pretty amazing ocean swells that changed the view completely . We had never been to Kauai and were a little worried about the weather on the North side during the winter, but all we experienced were some very light rains that didn’t last too long. The property is great, plenty of parking, and very clean. The crosswinds kept the unit cool, which was great because I typically need AC. We would definitely stay again!

Hearing the waves from every space in the condo made this trip extra special. Condo was was equipped well and location was perfect for our plans.

Great location and Great place! We loved our time there. Would definitely come back. Watching the whales from the Lanai having a cup of coffee in the morning was one of the highlights of the trip.

Great location on the ocean in a golf course community. Close to Hanalei and Kīlauea.

Lovely view. It is November and we thought we needed a/c but the fans worked just fine. Clean and easy check in.

We had a wonderful stay! The property is older and a bit outdated but was clean and had an amazing view and was a great base camp for exploring the island. Waking up and falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing was so serene. We loved being able to sit on the bench overlooking the cliffside and watch the sunset in the evenings. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were really comfortable. The property manager was very responsive to my messages and questions!

The entire stay was a memory that will never be forgotten. The condo was lovely to return to after a long day hiking, at the beach or on various tours. I would definitely stay longer than 4 days next time, too much to see and do in such a short period of time. We only have 1 complaint and that is the tv in the bedroom is going out; the color was so dark you couldn’t see the show which then took us to falling asleep on the couch most nights. All in all that did not change our experience it was just a little glitch. We would certainly stay at the lovely condo again. It is so close to everything you need, grocery store, eateries, bakeries fun dining & fine dining. Blessings and Mahalo

This was a wonderful unit with spectacular views and breezes keeping us comfortable. The host was very accommodating to an early check in time and was easy to communicate with. We were a party of 2 but this unit could easily accommodate 3 or 4. Our friends and family who came by were amazed with the unit and view. I highly recommend this unit.

Nice place

This property is spacious and provided everything we needed. Like most VRBO properties it could use some small repairs and updtaes, but overall it was just what we needed for a comfortable few days. Washer and dryer were a great benefit as well as the snorkeling gear and beach umbrella.

This condo is in a very good location and the views are outstanding. It was very well equipped with all basic supplies. Even though it was hot, we were comfortable with ocean breezes and fans. Would highly recommend staying here.

We loved our time at this condo. We arrived after dark, but the directions were so clear and easy to follow that we had no issues finding the place. The location is stunning, perched right at the edge of a cliff. We had wonderful sunrise views. The north shore location was close to many wonderful attractions. However, make sure you don’t try to get over your jet lag - it’s just easier to get used to getting up super early to see the best attractions! To park at both Tunnels Beach and Queen’s Bath, you had to arrive before 8 am. Both were worth it though. Tunnels had a great reef for snorkelling that dropped off steeply into deep waters. I think Queen’s Bath is walking distance if the parking lot is full. The condo was a lovely haven to return to after a busy day exploring. It was well stocked with basic spices and condiments. It also had some towels, sunscreen and after sun products. We would definitely return to this condo. Mahalo!

Amazing ocean views. Very cool and refreshing air coming right off the ocean that made sleeping very comfortable...no need for air conditioning during the hottest part of summer. Very clean and well appointed. Beds very comfortable. Excellent North shore location. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing stay! The place is exactly what is advertised, and better. The Sea Turtle cave nearby was so awesome! We could've hung around there and had blast the whole trip. Many places to explore. Luckily, this gem is close to many touristy places like Queen's Bath and Kalalau Trail, and both were amazing!

This condo was perfect. Amazing views. It was equipped with all that we needed. Great location in Princeville and near Hanalei.

A beautiful condo with great ocean views and sounds.

This house was amazing. The location is perfect. Very private and the most spectacular views. We loved listening to the waves all night and waking up to the birds. It was so relaxing the sit on the balcony and watch the sunrise. The breeze through the house is perfect and we remained at a comfortable temperature throughout our stay. It is about 13 mins from Hanalei Bay making it easy to get down to the beach. It was equipped with everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Loved it and would stay again.

Overall, it was pretty nice. The view was amazing! The place was clean and beautiful. I thought it was odd that the housekeeper left laundry in the dryer for me to put away. I was disappointed when the ice machine broke and the owner took almost 24 hours to respond to my text. It wasn’t an emergency, but he didn’t answer me very promptly which worried me if there was an emergency. I still enjoyed my stay though and those were only small annoyances.

The property was clean, had great amenities a wonderful view and so much more! It was a great rental spot. I will be back!

Fantastic view! Great location!

In real estate terms, location, location, location. The views from the balcony is simply amazing. Could see whales in the distance from the balcony. The bed in the master was very comfortable, we left the windows open overnight so we could hear the waves as we went to sleep and when we woke up. We will return to this location as many times as possible.

We enjoyed the condo very much! Beautiful views! We saw whales every day and dolphins swam by on a couple occasions. The condo was spacious and very clean! We loved it here!

Always stay here. Couldn’t be a better location.

It would be difficult to imagine a more perfect vacation condo on Kauai. The views and proximity to the ocean are stunning from every window. The sound of waves crashing and the cool breezes 24/7 were amazing. The condo is beautifully done and very well equipped. You will want for nothing. The access to Hanalei and the Na Pali coast could not be better. The bedding in the master was superb and the furniture throughout the unit was very nice and comfortable. We are pretty discerning and widely traveled.....this is a Gold Star property.

The property is very nice. The view is wonderful. The winds and rains were abundant this week, however we just drove about 30 min. South and we found the sun. The owner was an amazing communicator and so appreciative of that. Highly recommend this place for a visit.

John’s property was awesome and came with all the necessities for the beach- towels, an umbrella, snorkels/flippers, and some play items for the kiddos. A good kitchen to make some of your meals, some basic spices were included. Body wash was provided but no shampoo or conditioner so just make sure to bring your own. :) They provided laundry detergent for a couple loads as well. A great view of the ocean and friendly neighbors. It is very close to a Foodland with some restaurants, pretty close to Hanalei Bay, and some beaches/activities. John was great and I would be happy to stay here in the future!

We loved this condo. The views and ocean sounds are amazing. It is clean and comfortable. Ample space for our family of four. Easy to get to beaches and other sites. The host was an excellent communicator and has very good suggestions for what to do nearby. We definitely would return.

Two thumbs up. Communication with John heading into the trip was good, and the condo was just as described. The master bedroom with ensuite was quite a bit bigger than the second bedroom, so grab that room if you can. Balcony was nice, and we saw whales from there the first morning which was awesome: the supplied binoculars were a nice touch as well. If you have a good set of hiking shoes or grippy sandals (not flip flops) check out the trail down to the water that starts out on the other side of the adjacent building. The pool on the property was quite small, but we were busy the whole time and didn't have a chance to even check it out so not an issue for us. Princeville Center was close, with some restaurants and shops including the grocery store with pretty much everything you might need. Our only complaint was the location of Princeville, which ended up being on the opposite end of the island from pretty much everything we were doing. But that issue was all about our planning, not the condo itself, and the rental car made traversing the island pretty easy. Hanalai Beach is actually quite close and it was the nicest beach we experienced on the island, so check that out if you have a chance. All in all I would give the condo location and amenities two thumbs up, just be aware of the location on the island before planning excursions.
