he host dropped by for a quick minute to make sure everything was to our liking. Brit was very friendly and personable. The apartment was very clean and very nicely decorated! the neighborhood was very nice and was within walking distance to a restaurant. Would highly recommend!

Summary

This apartment was perfect for our stay. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We especially loved that it had a washer and dryer, since we were on an extended trip. It is close to the "downtown" core so you can walk to the boutiques and restaurants, and there are many beautiful historic homes in the area. It's also just a few minutes walk to the beach. I definitely recommend it and would stay there again if we go back!

Just what we were looking for! We wanted to get away for a relaxed weekend away from home and found a gem. We felt like we had stepped back in time, the town square reminded us of The movie “Back to the Future” - Goderich is a wonderful little town with a great deal of civic pride. The town square hosted a free movie on Friday night, a car show on Saturday and a flea market sale on Sunday. Everything you may need could be found around the town square. We enjoyed the old donut shop, restaurants and shopping as well as the nearby beach. The sunset from the nearby lighthouse (about 7-10 minute walk) was beautiful. The neighborhood is well maintained with some lovely landscaping. If you’re looking to get away and decompress for a couple of days or so, we would recommend! The booking process was simple as were the check-in instructions. The place is clean, convenient with very new interior. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed. Britt is local and came by to say hello while we were there. Overall excellent experience.

We were enchanted by this little town on Ontario’s west coast. The apartment was everything we needed. 10 days went by incredibly fast.

The apartment is well laid out and contains everything we needed for easy meal preparation. The private patio is a lovely bonus. Our only quibble is that the upstairs tenant's heavy footsteps could be heard well after our bedtime.

This was our second stay at Lancaster house and it was wonderful. The unit is beautiful, clean, extremely well supplied. The location was great. Britt welcomed us after arrival and greeted us like old friends. Amazing stay!
