It was easy to find, Claire was an exceptional host, she couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The place was spotless, serving a delicious cooked breakfast.
It is within easy walking distance from the town.

Very friendly owners, nothing was too much trouble. Made us an early morning continental breakfast as we were getting an early ferry to the scily islands. Local knowledge was useful and made good recommendations for days out and restaurants. Accommodation was spotless, room and en suite were small but had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Would recommend this property

Clare and Kevin are excellent hosts. Most accommodating and knowledgeable of their surroundings. The room and en suite were spotlessly clean and the B&B tastefully decorated throughout. Breakfast was superb, one of the best we have had. High praise for Kevin's sausage and the general quality of the breakfast ingredients. Particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit salad. One reason we chose Bay Lodge was the free parking which was never a issue, being 5 minutes walk into Penzance and the railway station. Highly recommended, we wouldn't hesitate to stay at Bay Lodge again and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
There genuinely wasn't anything we didn't like. The en suite was a little snug but that was more of an issue to do with the size of me!

Clare and Kev are wonderful hosts, very warm, friendly and welcoming, they couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The room was spacious and very pretty with snacks, tea and coffee provided along with a scrumptious full Cornwall breakfast lovingly prepared by Kev each morning. Penzance train station is about a 10 minute walk and there’s a bus stop 3 minutes away which travels to most tourists attractions for only 5 pounds per day. I would definitely recommend Bay Lodge and are thankful to Clare and Kev for being such fabulous hosts.

Clare and Kevin made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was delicious every morning. Great location, close to everything. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Parking space right outside. Perfect place to stay in Penzance, we will definitely come back.

I honestly couldn’t say a better word about our hosts. They were happy to let us check in early and even when we were delayed by 5 hours because of train strikes, they waited on site for us to arrive and were super helpful with advice on local places to visit, had a perfect sea view room ready for us and cooked up an amazing full English breakfast for us each morning to help us start our day. Location of the b&b was also perfect, a beautiful beach walk away from st Michael’s mount and 5 minutes from Penzance. 10/10 all round - couldn’t recommend enough!

I would give Bay Lodge in Penzance the highest recommendation; it has to match as good a bed and breakfast guest house as you could find in the UK ; it was clean, comfortable with a warming welcome.
I cannot find anything to be critical about.

Clare & Kevin were great hosts and made our stay so very enjoyable. Bay Lodge is situated in a great position for either visiting Penzance or driving to the many other tourist sites to be seen. Our room was a good size and very comfortable. The full English breakfast was great.

The Full English was supurb and both Claire and Kevin are great hosts. They made the visit an enjoyable experience, nothing was too much trouble for them. I will certainly visit them again and probably next year

Both of the hosts were extremely friendly and happy to help. We highly recommend this great place to stay. We were very sad we had to leave. A great breakfast to start your day.

Close to, but a little way out of the town centre. The Bay Lodge has everything you could think of for a comfortable B and B. Warm welcome, fantastic breakfast with a huge choice of hot and cold food. Our early departure was happily accommodated with a very substantial continental breakfast and the whole establishment is scrupulously clean.
Nothing could have been improved. Our expectations were exceeded in every respect.

The host are incredibly friendly. Breakfast is sensational. The place is fastidiously clean and fresh. This is a great location to either walk to St Michael Mount (2 miles away) on into town (Penzance). Car park is a bonus and very good & safe.
