Quiet, privacy, we used the yard for a meal in the evening sun.
Is described as accessible. The only accessible thing is the entrance. Not accessible:
Shower- showerhead from the ceiling, no hose, no rails- for a wheelie unusable
Sink in the bathroom- so extremly high, tooth brushing only with water from the bottle possible, washing complicated
Toilet way to low, no railings
Bed- has rolls which can not be arreted, that means it moves easily, super for wheelies when getting in
Kitchen- unusable for wheelchair users. Normal hight, dishes overhead, sink, watter kettle etc unreachable.
We booked it because of the accessibility. I even asked ahead if there were any obstacles.
Contact with host rather strange. We stayed 2 nights, for storing the luggage because we arrived in the morning, she took 10 pounds (????), and asked 3!!!! times wheter I had left them in cash.
Door of the attic was not zu lock. When leasing she expected us to clean the place.
The place itself is not really clean but towels and bed was fresh.
Very expansive for what we got.
Far from train station.

Nice location and very quiet.
Only a 10min walk to the seafront which was great.
Place was clean tidy and the sky lights give so much light.
Shower wasn’t great but did the job.
Bathroom door doesn’t give much privacy.

Our host was very responsive. The place was close to everywhere we wanted to go. Very quiet area. The kitchen had all that we needed.
The bathroom seems to be in transition. The shower had no way to contain the water, so the whole floor was wet.

The location of the property is very close to the shops and the beach. Very easy to walk everywhere.
The property is at the end of a quiet street.
It is clean and modern, has Wi-Fi and a tv.
We were a family of three. There is a double bed and the sofa pulls out to a double bed too.
The double bed could be more comfortable. In fact I was expecting to see a king size bed.
The sofa bed was VERY uncomfortable. After the first night we took off the mattress and it’s several mattress toppers and put them all on the floor to sleep on every night.
For the price you pay, I would expect the bed to be comfortable and the pull out sofa to be comfortable too.
I would encourage the owner to change the bed and the couch bed.

Everything was lovely. So clean and friendly hosts. Made us feel very welcome. There was instructions for everything. Even a loaf of bread and milk there for our arrival. The location of the annex was easy to find and had no problems finding it. We stayed for a week was lovely for our small family.
There was nothing to dislike

Was v clean and has everything you need. Hosts were great. Great location as well once you can find it.
Property was lovely , comfortable, clean and had all the facilities you need. Hosts provided tea, coffee, fresh milk and bread which was really thoughtful and kind . I am not a fan of a wet room but understand why it is there.

A purpose-built annex that was warm, light and airy, in a quiet neighbourhood yet close to town and buses.
Not having written instructions on how to use the FreeSat was a bit frustrating (as we are unfamiliar with it). However, we have mentioned it to the owner and I am sure he will remedy it.

Great location for exploring local area. Very clean accommodation with the bonus of being disabled friendly. Kitchen well equipped with all you might need utensils wise, plus the milk, bread, butter and fruit which was left for us. Fresh flowers made us feel very welcome, we would definitely return.

Friendly and courteous hosts. A nice kitchen with all cutlery and options to cook something quick and easy on a vacation. Overall, a wonderful 3 days in 'The annex'.
Dont have any.

Brilliant accommodation, great hosts, went with the wife and daughter, both loved it, and the hosts were really friendly, they were there to greet us, and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.

The location was fairly central - a short walk to the high street and beach. Having a dedicated parking space was a bonus. The accommodation was clean and we had control of the heating, which was nice. If the velux blinds had been working, I imagine that would have been a nice feature.
TV and wifi had very good connection.
This is clearly a granny annex that is now no longer useful and is now making money as a holiday let. Although warm and clean, it would benefit from investment - changing the vibrating orthopaedic bed to a normal double bed, changing the wheelchair friendly swing partition to the bathroom to a solid door with a lock that gives privacy, and installing a cooker and hob for guest use.
We found the whole experience slightly creepy - especially as the annex was built in a small back garden very close to the house. The orthopaedic bed had no headboard and slid around the room on wheels, there was a disability chair in the shower - and the wet room was soaked for the whole day after use. Removal of the chair and provision of a squeegee floor wiper would be a quick solution. There was a rather rank looking mop in the corner which we didn't like to touch. The gap beneath the bathroom swing partition door meant that everything that went on inside the bathroom was broadcast to the lounge and bedroom.
Finally we had a problem with noise throughout the night due to a strange vibration from the counter top cooking unit. Every time the fridge went on, the cooker would vibrate loudly and for no apparent reason. We were unable to stop this happening, despite unplugging it and removing trays etc.

Location was good and easy to find. You have to be open minded and remember it’s an Annex to a residential property so it’s in a quiet residential area- perfect for couples and small families. The area felt safe and homely.
Nothing - everything was perfect

Andy and Lizzie were super welcoming and friendly. Andy even helped me when my car decided to have a funny 5 mins when we first arrived! We loved the Annex, it was comfortable, clean and a perfect location with town centre only a 5 min walk and 10 mins to the sea front and only a short drive to Sennen and St Ives for day trips. I would definitely stay again and would happily recommend to friends and family 😊.
Nothing, we absolutely loved our stay :)

Our hosts met us and were very welcoming and freindly. They provided any information that we needed and more! They had put flowers in the room which was really nice. Everything that we needed during the week was provided in terms of kitchen facilities and household equipment. The bed was very comfortable, and the skylights were great and opened and closed electronically. It had a lovely wet room with a huge shower and there was always easy hot water.
The place was spotlessly clean. There was easy parking and it was well located for shops, buses, restaurants and the town centre.
Top attractions were the
1. Jubilee Pool which is a 1930's Lido and is well worth a visit. Book ahead if you want to use the Geothermal Pool.
2. The Minack theatre, you can either just visit and have a tour, or see a play or music there. Take cushions, and again, book ahead.
3. The Lands End Coaster Bus - spend a day hopping on and off the bus and see Lands End, St Just, the Minack, St Ives and other wonderful places.
These are just really nitpicking suggestions for improvement and we wouldnt want any of it to be seen as critisism as we were really happy. But.....
We would have liked to have had instructions for the microwave, it took us a little while to figure it out.
There was no full length mirror, and I would have really liked to have one.
It was very hot that week so we had the skylights open for air to circulate, but there was a lot of noise from seagulls and the traffic, and helicopters overhead. It would have been nice to have had a fan so that we could get some air circulating with the windows and skylights closed to keep out the noise which woke me up early in the morning.

Self catering and kitchen was well equipped. The Annex is spacious and as the weather was very hot the electric roof windows were really useful for keeping the room cool at night. Oven gloves would have been useful and a kitchen towel, these may have been removed due to Covid restrictions

Just spent 3 days at The Annex and I didn't want to leave. Lovely place, lovely people. Everything as shown in pictures and very clean. Definitely would recommend.

The property was lovely! A little self serving annex next to the house, we could come and go as we pleased without disturbing anyone. It’s in prime location with only a 5 minute walk from the beach and the owners were so so so sweet, they were the nicest couple in the world.
Nothing, it was lovely!

Andy is very friendly and had great communication prior to our visit. He went out of his way to receive a parcel we had delivered to the Annex and also posted a forgotten item back to us after the visit. The Annex is in a great location, very close to the high street. It has everything you need in one place! Off street parking is a bonus too!

The apartment is really nice and functional. We had anything we needed.
Also the kitchen is very well equipped and with all the tools you need to arrange a simple breakfast or quick dinner.
