We found the house to be very convenient and comfortable. The deck on the top floor is very nice with comfy seating and beach view across the dunes. It’s a short walk to the boardwalk and beach. The Beach Club pools were perfect for the kids. I definitely recommend getting the club access. Both pools have fun features and one has a restaurant. The kitchen is big enough, good refrigerator, lots of dishes. It could use some new skillets, sharper knives, and more dish towels. The water from the frig and ice were very good. No need to buy water. . It would be nice to have shower soap and shampoo provided. Overall I would recommend it for families. I rated it four stars because it’s super nice but not luxurious. The furniture is slightly worn and the pots are in poor shape.one fan is missing the remote and it was set on low so that room was warm. Baby equipment was fine.

Located at the west end, it's quiet. Takes about 30 minutes to the historic district, but moves right along with lots of restaurants in between. We spent lots of hours on the upper porch just watching the ocean. In spite of the extreme heat Texas was having, the breeze most days made it pleasant. The AC did its job and the house was very comfortable. There's lots of room to spread out and everyone having a bathroom was a plus. Be prepared for 2 stories of steps, but the view is worth it. The Property Manager was quick to respond to my inquiries every time. Well stocked kitchen. Could have used a few more towels (2 a day showers in the heat when we ventured out to the beach), but with a washer/dryer in the unit that took care of the issue. New refrigerator and microwave. Double ice maker so lots of ice for drinks. The Lazy River pool was so refreshingly, only 7 minutes away.

We enjoyed our stay, the layout of the rooms worked well for our family.

We had a wonderful family reunion /early Mother’s Day. The house and property were amazing. Wouldn’t recommend spending the money for the resort access such a great house and easy access to beach it unnecessary

Very nice property in an ideal location. Excellent access to the beach. If you do not like being in the crowed area this is your spot. Peaceful with excellent view of the ocean. Property was well appointed and spacious.

The house has great location and close to the beach. The kids love it! We were a group of 10 and everything was very comfortable and well equipped.

Everything a multigeneration family vacation needs is at this rental and resort. Love the convenience of being next to dune walkover and ample storage space under the house. Hammocks are super comfy!

House was in a fantastic location, You can’t beat West Pointe. House was clean and had plenty of amenities. There was tons of chairs and beach toys.

We’ve stayed at multiple locations in Galveston but this was the best for us because of the beach adjacent to the property that does not allow vehicles. One less thing to worry about when watching littles on the beach. The accommodations were great for the three families staying there. Comes equipped with a high chair and gates for the stairs! Would stay there again!!

Neptune Nest was exactly what we were seeking. Only downfall was amount of miles to find a restaurant to eat. App. 22 miles back to Galveston proper. Otherwise, great place with excellent beach access.

Easy to talk to owner!

This property was perfect for our two families. As advertised. Location so close to the beach was amazing. Comfortable furniture. Storage closet stocked with plenty of beach items to use. Kitchen well stocked with all we needed. Not a luxuriously appointed property but certainly not bad. We had 4 kids ages 6 - 12 and 4 adults. I would rent here again for sure.

The home was very nice and well apportioned for the 8 adults on our trip. The views of the dunes, beach, and Gulf were great. The convenience of the dune crossover was much appreciated. Though we did not use the any of the Beach Club facilities, they looked amazing. We plan to make another trip in the Summer of 2022 and intend to book this house again if it is available.

Neptune’s Nest has a perfect location on a clean, quiet stretch of beach. The house has all of the comforts of home- spices for cooking, baby gates, high chair, pack & play, sand toys and games in great shape, and a beach cart to haul your items to/from the sand. We liked the outdoor shower, multiple balconies, and seating options for our multi-generational family. The neighborhood is clean, newer, and quiet. We did not spend much time using the neighborhood amenities, but they were clean and in good shape. We hope to return! Thanks Todd & family for your hospitality!

Fabulous stay. House is awesome. Great location and view! Our second time staying here. Communication with homeowner was exceptional. Hurricane Ida came through the Monday before our rental on Thursday knocking out the electricity. Todd kept me Up to date for 4 days about the status. Thankfully it was restored on our arrival day. Thank you Todd!! We needed this vacation with everything that’s going on in the world right now!!

The property is beautiful and steps from beach. The beach was clean, and the water was perfect. The kids caught and released so many crabs, we lost count! The beds were super comfy. We had a blast and plan to return. We had an issue and Todd was quick to respond and make things right. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The house and location are perfect. Worth the stay. The beach is blocked off so there is no car traffic making for a safer beach experience. Hope to go back for a 3rd year.

Property and site are excellent. Furniture is in need of replacement as is cookware. Otherwise very nice

This was the perfect place for our two families to have Spring break. Would recommend bringing comforters, extra bath towels and your own knives.

Location is good .property has everything you need but cleanless was a concern.floors were not cleaned properly.kids socks turned blackish in few minutes when we reached.ice maker was a proem.however the property manager was very resposive.

Our group of 8 adults stayed at Neptune’s Nest the last weekend of February and were so impressed with the communication we had with Todd, the property manager. Our visit was only 10 days after the Texas freeze and everything in the house was working & available for our use. We loved the easy access to the beach and enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck. The house was very clean and well stocked for cooking a few meals. Dinner at Waterman’s Restaurant was delicious & a short drive from the house. We hope to return soon!

Everyone enjoyed our time here. Weather was unpleasant when we checked in but it turned out to be beautiful the next day till we checked out. We watched the majestic sunrise from the balcony, every morning with a perfect cup of coffee on hand. The property is equipped with almost everything especially in the kitchen- although I didn’t see an electric mixer, there’s a food processor to use. I couldn’t ask for anything better. This property is excellent for the whole family. We might rent this again in he summer!

A top notch rental house. Roomy, nicely decorated, kitchen well stocked for cooking. Lovely neighborhood, easy access to house, very easy access to beach. Excellent communications with owner. Definitely will return.

Right on the beach, next to the walk over. Fantastic beach and bay views. Kitchen had plenty of space for meal preparation. We loved spending time on the balconies. Plenty of indoor & out door seating for our party of 10 adults. The hammocks were a treat to nap on. Owner provided beach chairs which was a plus.

Our family group consists of three generations of beach lovers. The house was perfect for our needs and the location was amazing. Immediately next to the crossover is perfect. Having two large decks means everyone could enjoy the view and relax. Todd is very responsive and a pleasure to work with. We will be back!

Everything was PERFECT for our stay. There was a provided highchair and pack-n- play which made our lives so easy. The property was EXACTLY as described and had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.
