What a fun cabin for our family vacation with kids and grandkids ... nine of us in all. When we first arrived the grandkids grabbed their swimsuits and headed right for the slide on the pond. They made several trips down the slide before returning to the cabin to finish unpacking. NOTE: It is about 15-feet deep in the middle of the pond. Make sure non-swimmers are wearing life jackets. Plenty of room in the cabin to read, watch TV, play games ... including video machines, pool table and a sliding puck type table in the basement. Loved the party lights in the basement. I think every room had a TV except for the bathrooms. The TIKI hut was also a special place to watch the kids play in the water. Beautiful Fire Pit area overlooking the pond. You will have to purchase your own firewood. Watch for deer in the field at dusk. Also, the ice makers in the fridges weren't working while we were there, so you might want to grab an extra bag of ice before you arrive. Didn't have time for volleyball or croquet, we'll save that for next time. Elevator wasn't working, so you have to climb a ladder to get to the loft sleeping area. Fun for grandkids, not so much for grandma and grandpa. Nice walking path through the woods to the deer stand across the field from the cabin. Wave at the field camera when you get there. We stayed here for a combined bachelor/bachelorette party and it was amazing! The property was secluded and private so we could be loud without worrying about disturbing any neighbors. We spent a lot of time at the outdoor tiki bar and pond. The property manager also very kindly allowed us to check in an hour early. I will definitely be renting this property in the future with family and friends!

This was an amazing stay. There was something for everyone. The firepit, pool & air hockey tables were well used. The trails, volleyball court and beach area added an extra amount of fun. But the pond area with the gigantic inflatable slide was by far the most popular attraction. It entertained the teens for hours. It was great to get them outdoors enjoying nature. This was a fabulous find as we had everything we needed for a group of 10 teens and 3 adult chaperones.

Our stay was awesome. This VRBO was just want our family needed and it was perfect. The cleaning lady was there when we arrived and she was alot of help and showed us around the place, which was quite helpful. I wish the communication was done a little quicker but that could be normal as I have never rented a VRBO before. This place had everything we needed for our stay! Loved our stay here and would recommend it again.

We had 16 people from 10 years old and up. We had a great time and loved the location. Secluded yet not far from town. We will be back!

My family (parents, sisters, sister's spouses and teenaged children) had a delightful stay in this cabin with great access to both natural attractions and the more touristy locations within the Dells. The cabin was clean, comfortable and well appointed. As a side note: the ice cream was exceptional at the gas station just down the road.

We brought a group of friends here for the weekend and honestly the photos don't do it justice! The tiki bar was so fun, perfect fire pit, pond was great for swimming, fun and clean bar/game area downstairs. Perfectly cozy and well kept. Such a special place, hoping we come back here in the future!

This property was fantastic!!! We are sad that the elevator was not working and we were not notified in advance. It did change things up for 2 people in our group....but we worked through that obstacle. Overall it was a great stay for us!!!

An absolutely beautiful place! Plenty of room for 10 adults and 6 children. The pond was great w the sand beach for the kiddos! Saw many deer, even had 1 in the yard that my SIL was able to pet! Fire pit was great for evening s'mores and relaxing. Close to Dells.

Totally enjoyed it

Upon arrival to the cabin for our weekend we noticed that the listing on here makes the pond look way bigger then it really is. Got into the house and noticed dust everywhere, the counters and stove in the kitchen were dirty. Light bulbs were missing out of bathroom vanity’s. Took us a while to figure out the lights in the basement because light switches are messed up. Good thing no one needed to do laundry the washer and dryer were full. Garbage cans on the outside of the house had garbage in them. Let’s not forget to mention either the listing says sleeps 18. Ya no it sleeps 15 so that is wrong. Says there is three bathrooms, sure if the ones outside weren’t locked. Hot water for showers doesn’t last that long, we do have pictures of stuff. If you would care to see them we have no problem emailing them over. I would highly recommend changing your listing to reflect what’s there and how many it can sleep. With the price per night. I’d say if you were a small group or family it would be perfect for a stay, the land is nice it is secluded and quite.

Nice place quiet and joyful would think about renting again in the summer

We loved this property and the location. We came for a few days to get away for spring break. If it would have been summer I’m sure the pond would have been an amazing place to be. Communication was a little delayed sometimes, but it was right at spring break time, so that could explain the delay.

Really enjoyed the cabin and the amenities it offered! Would recommend for any group to stay at Nate’s!

We had questions before and during the stay and it was always easy to communicate with the owner. The place is lovely and would make for a great location to visit for anyone.

Spent my birthday weekend with friends. The cabin was spacious and cozy. We will be back next year.

It was great! Great place ! Just need a corkscrew for opening wine! And scrubvie for dishes ! Otherwise perfect!

We had a great time staying here for NYE with some friends and family. The kids had a blast with the games and dance party with the party lights in the basement. Adults were able to hangout by the bar. There's only air hockey, pool, and a basketball video game that works. In the pictures it shows more. It didn't matter for our group tho, as the kids still really enjoyed themselves. Location is secluded and beautiful. I'm sure summer would be a fantastic time to stay as well. The owner was super responsive anytime I inquired on anything. All in all, great place and worth it.

I had a bachelor party here. It was great. Lots of rooms and space. Amazing views and surrounding area. The place was overall nicely kept. I would recommend.

This is our second time staying at this property. It’s gorgeous and well maintained. We will continue to come here for our peace and quiet

Beautiful home in great location. Close enough to go and do things far enough away to feel like you are “away”. Enjoyed watching the deer everyday! Enough space for extended family to be together.

Wow very nice place. Gave it three stars for accuracy because the loft room is a only accessible by a ladder and the 3 rd bathroom is not in the house but down at the lake. So the house is just 2 bathrooms. Fabulous host.

We want to rent it again next year as we always take our family vacay first week in August.

This is a beautiful cabin and location but we had several issues. Be aware it is not handicap accessible. -We requested pictures of the kitchen 3 times but never received them. The last 2 requests were not even answered. An email prior to arrival had “See Other” about check-in. We requested the missing info with no response. -We arrived at the property for a 4:00 pm check-in & found both house & garage locked. After trying to contact owner multiple times we called VRBO. After 45 minutes on hold we spoke with a very helpful VRBO rep & got house & garage codes and instructions. We finally entered at 7:00pm. The owner emailed us the check-in info at 11:30pm. -We selected this property b/c of the elevator. It was there but boarded up. One of our party uses a walker & cannot use stairs . She had to go outside & navigate a very steep terrain to reach the lower level. -The walk-in shower on the L.L. is great but without a working elevator it is not accessible to anyone who cannot use stairs. -The house was quite clean with the exception of broken glass missed near the couches on the main level. One of our group stepped on a shard of glass our first evening in the house. -When we arrived the thermostat was set at 61-69 degrees & was locked so we couldn’t change it. After 2 freezing nights we contacted the owner. He responded quickly & worked with us to make the rest of the week comfortable. -We planned a fire in the FP (since firepit was inaccessible) but the glass doors were screwed shut. Owner said it was done b/c of summer & AC. He told us where to find a screwdriver to open the doors but we roasted marshmallows over a candle to have the promised s’mores instead. Other things to be aware of: • After entering by the handicap ramp you go thru a small sleeping area (with no closet or dresser). Unless the handicap person sleeps in that area they must exit thru someone else’s space. • Pond had leeches. Owner had dredged pond but some remained. We saw a few but no one came in contact with one. • The kitchen is not large but it is well laid out & well stocked. •The VRBO listing needs to be updated. There are no recliners, no deep fryer or slap clopper, no starting beverages at the bar. All this being said we did enjoy our family vacation. It is a beautiful home in a very private location, with lots of space for group activities as well as individual quiet time. The property would work well for many groups but not for a disabled person.

We had a very relaxing experience. So many thing to do for all ages. Cabin was very clean and plenty of room to spread out. The pond was one of the clearest ponds we have seen in a long time.

Exactly what I was looking for. Couldn’t get enough of the place and amenities. The pond was a complete surprise as to the coolness of the water. We are a water family so most of our time was in the pond. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a place near the dells. Happy Trails, Wendell
