We stay here at least twice a year and absolutely love this cabin! Beautiful views, so relaxing and peaceful property! We are looking forward to our next trip!

i needed this vacation to decompress. this cabin did just that, the view is 10/10 beautiful.

This location was absolutely breathtaking the views were so beautiful very peaceful very quiet very calming great getaway millions of memories made very adventurous would repeat!!! Be careful It is way up high with high cliffs !!

My wife and I enjoyed our two day stay very much. I thought the cabin was almost perfect. The only downside is that there is quite a bit of traffic noise from a bridge that is quite a ways away but the sound carries.

My boyfriend and our children enjoyed the peaceful, beautiful views of this cabin! The management was easy to reach out to. The cabin itself was lovely and clean. The view from the deck was spectacular. We will return!

We had such a lovely time, we extended an extra night! Very cozy, tree-covered property, with a cliff view of the lake. Located on a populated street, but secluded by a long driveway and canopy of trees. It's a short drive to the marina where we rented a boat on Saturday, and an even shorter trip to a nice hike on Sunday. Perfect meet-in-the-middle for Nashville and Lexington.

This cabin was amazing I had taken my sister dor her birthday. The bed was a little on the short end and the back door was hard to close other than that no issues.

Very cozy winter getaway. The cabin was very comfortable and nicely decorated. We saw two bald eagles flying over the lake . Just an added bonus!

We enjoyed our weekend getaway. It’s very nice to find a cabin on a lake within 30 minutes of home.

Me and my fiancé had a lovely, relaxing time at this cabin celebrating my birthday and our engagement. Clean, had everything we needed, super peaceful and relaxing, I’d stay again!

It was very rustic which was what we were looking for. The views were great and it was quiet. It could use some updates but overall it was nice.

Second time I’ve rented a hideaway cabin. All thumbs up. Somewhat rustic, but nice and clean place, kitchen had basics (tiny microwave,) front and back porches good for sitting to enjoy beautiful woods, couldn’t find trail to waterside, gas fireplace added coziness. 👍🏻

We loved the location and privacy of this property. Had everything we needed and a great view for being so woodsy. Loved the porch swing. Was not too far from town and real close to the park. Wished the outdoor furniture on the back deck was a little more since we love being outdoors.

Really great place. My only complaint, and for me it’s a big issue, was the musty smell. The real problem likely what was causing it, as I had to start antihistamines during my stay. I was able to significantly thwart the smell with Lysol and candles. The front and back sitting areas are great! The view of the lake great! You are secluded without being too far away from other homes and cabins. The interior was clean and both porches were also clean. Outside insects such as spiders and disgusting flying gross things were very minimal which is a huge plus for me. No signs of insects on the interior either. I expected much more as this cabin is nestled among trees on all sides. I would definitely stay again if they could confirm to me that the musty smell had be dealt with. Managers said they would look into it. I saw a comment on bed being squeaky and uncomfortable. I slept in back bedroom and I thought the bed was quite comfortable and did not notice a squeak. I drive a 3rd row SUV and I feel like getting turned around at the base of the drive might be a challenge with anything much bigger. Not impossible, just challenging for some drivers. All in all, a great place.

It needed to be cleaned better and the mats in the bathtub are dangerous. They slide around. Having nothing is better. Also, no cable on our last morning. ???

The property was a fantastic little getaway for the family to go exploring caves and hiking! Cabin had everything as explained and was very clean upon arrival. The back porch area is a fantastic place to look out at the lake and relax!

This cabin offers a beautiful view of barren river lake. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. There were a few concerns with lighting and water pressure which we had spoke to the manager regarding. We will be back!

The cabin was perfect for four adults. Very Comfortably beds. Nice comfy living area. Beautiful views of lake. Great location close to the Park and Marina.

We enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return. I'm leaving this four stars for just a couple of small items: (1) Having to get a physical key was annoying mostly because the instructions said the building had a red roof (which it does not) and no one inside was masked. The key was not in the overnight box, so we had to go inside and wait. (2) The actual check in instructions say that children are only allowed with a signed waiver, but since we were automatically confirmed on VRBO with a stated 6yo in our group, I didn't see that there were warnings or concerns. We didn't have any issues, but young kid should NOT stay here. Aside from the large, ungated cliff outside (which is in the pictures and beautiful) all of the banisters are at least 8 inches apart. My 6yo could have EASILY squeezed through and fell off the second floor. And (3) the AC doesn't work super well and the instructions say to keep the temp at 75, which meant the upstairs was easily 85 at night. We opened windows but it didn't help and there were no fans at the property or any of the local stores. We really had a wonderful time, I'm just posting these items for future guests!

Great spot to plan our cave explorations and to return to put up our feet and relax. Not in the thick of things, close but just far enough away. Beautiful view of lake -

I took a mini vacation with my son before school starts and we had a blast! Literally next door to the park. The cabin is beautiful with amazing views. Watching the lake you can see how alive everything is around you. Quiet and secluded with everything you need within 5 minutes. The area has sharp drop offs sand cliffs. I would not bring children under 10 to this cabin, just for safety reasons, my son was a wild child when he was younger.

This was a weekend getaway for my husband and I. We loved everything about this cabin. The location was perfect and very close to the lake. Don’t forget to play the Dollar game! We look forward to staying again!
