This is a truly wonderful property. The views are fabulous, everything about the place is extremely comfortable including the beds and I would have to say it's one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in. The owners have given attention to detail and they have literally covered everything you can think of. We will most definitely be back.

A few ladies went to Wedge for a sewing week end. Wedge is located with a full view of the ocean. This is worth every bit you pay for. The welcome cheese and champers is a very nice touch. The property is older but very well kept and very neat. A very relaxing week end had by all.

The view is even better in real life! Beautiful, empty beaches at the doorstep with shower facilities.Very tastfully furnished and well equipped kitchen. Washing machine in the bathroom - to be honest, I would have preferred a dishwasher... Lots of books to choose from (even in German!) and some Information on the are. Choice of DVD for bad weather (which we had, unfortunately...). Nice open plan layout which in turn means that anyone getting up early has to be very quiet so as not to wake up people sleeping upstairs. Shopping / Restaurants all have to be reached by car (5-10 min drive) except for a Dome Café in walking distance. Street in front of the house but very little traffic. Very friendly welcome by the Denise and Barry, always helpful for extra Information. Thank you very much!

We love it! Thank you Barry & Denise! Calming effect, birds chirping, hypnotic sound of waves & the beach! My nuclear powered kids absolutely enjoyed this place.

Our reasons for a weekend away was to relax & recharge. In summary, it exceeded our expectations. The Wedge is positioned a short distance from the hussle & bussle of Mandaruh City Center but you could mistake yourself being in a sleepy seaside village. The beach is directly across the road which had little traffic. Not two minutes walking distance away is a safe swimming area & places to fish. With regard to the accommodation, its the cleanest I have stayed at for a very very long time & not once did I want for looking for items to complete our stay. The kitchen is well catered for & very easy to use. The furnishing are elegant & comfortable. (PS.. take note of the wonderful canvas pictures on the walls). The design of the place is a lovely open plan with views to the ocean from all aspects excepting the 2nd bedroom & bathroom. The only exceptions I can say is the bathroom lags behind the standard of the rest of the accommodation & if your sensitive, the open upstairs bedroom is susceptible to noise & light if sharing with others. All in all, I can not thank Denise and Barry enough for our wonderful stay and we will definitely be repeat customers.

With the beach across the road and stunning views from the large deck looking out across the Indian Ocean and an apartment that has everything supplied from quality linen,good novels & music, to all the kitchen crockery,cutlery and appliances it was an ideal retreat. There are two bedrooms upstairs both with fine furnishings and even bath robes available. The view alone and privacy of the units made it such a relaxed time, having all the little extras (like a pantry stocked with the basics) exotic teas and fresh coffee options just added to the experience. The unit was very clean and well presented, parking is available at the back of the unit and the private courtyard allows for another outdoor sitting option. The bathroom is a little on the compact size but does the job. If you need restaurants they are relatively close by but not within walking distance, but why would you need them when you have the best views in town! Denise is to be thanked for looking after everything so well. Looking forward to another stay.

Fabulous views of the ocean and sunsets. Terrific location on the Halls Head peninsula. While the property looks a bit tired on the outside the refurbished interior is splendid.And our hosts were perfect! Loved the treats on arrival.Thoroughly recommend The Wedge

It was not only a pleasant but a great stay - a luxurious self-contained house overlooking the Indian Ocean. The friendliness of the owners was unbelieveable. The best Holiday destination we have ever known.If you like a cup of early morning the - you take it in the small private garden and will be able to watch the sunrise. And in the evening you can see the same sun go down in the Indian Ocean from the large deck in front of the house. It really is worth traveling 10.000 miles for.A senior coupleCopenhagen Denmark

We loved it! The place is gorgeous inside and has everything you need so no need to bring much more than your swimsuit! Views from balcony look across to the beach which is safe and clean for swimming.Area is quiet and relaxing and hosts are lovely people who go all out to make you feel at home.

Brilliant views and every thing you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Like a home away from home right down to the book by the bed.

We had the most lovely time at the most beautiful place in Mandurah. Everything was just gorgeous and the views were breathtaking. We are racing back for another stay in the next few weeks ..

The Wedges are unique. Fabulous architecture, absolute uninterrupted beachfront, quiet, magnificent deck overhanging the ocean, marvellous for reading or entertaining or just watching the ocean. Amazing pictures in the unit. Barry and Denise are wonderful and generous hosts.......
