We have stayed at so many VRBO properties several times a year for over a decade and this is by far the best in all respects. No detail is overlooked --- the property is super clean, comfortable, extremely well maintained, and has everything you need for a perfect short or longer home-away-from-home stay in any season. It's a great Minneapolis location near Lake of the Isles (easy short walk) from which to go anywhere in the Twin Cities and surrounds quickly. Every time we stay at Isles Inn Uptown it makes our trip easy and stress-free. No need to worry about anything here and also the hosts are attentive, helpful, and friendly. We are looking forward to our next stay here, and so disappointed when it's not available for one of our trip dates and we have to stay elsewhere!

Great location for our month-long winter adventure. The Chain of Lakes make for great outdoor fun, including groomed cross-country ski trails. Very convenient to lots of great restaurants and close to a couple of bus lines that allowed us access to the entire metro area. Lastly, the apartment had lots of light due to many windows.

This place was so beautiful and well equipped. It made me think about how I could improve my own home with more beautiful finishes. It was very well stocked with towels and wash clothes, two huge TV's, a fireplace, a great kitchen and the neighborhood is so beautiful. We took walks by Lake of the Isles each day and through out the neighborhood. And Kent is a great host and very helpful. We will stay again for sure.

I had a wonderful stay at Isles Inn Uptown. The place is well appointed and well cared for. It's located in a tree lined neighborhood, within walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores, and nearby Lake of the Isles. I especially appreciated the flexibility with check in and the fast, reliable wifi provided. Would highly recommend staying here.

Cozy, delightful and welcoming! Not only all necessities have been provided but also thoughtful amenities over and above to enhance the home away from home experience: well stocked spices, coffee grinder, ample linens & paper goods, well stocked kitchen utensils!

Everything about the stay was excellent. Owner met us at check in to explain a few details then left us to enjoy. Everything we could want was in the home, all amenities in kitchen and baths. Great, quiet neighborhood, 2 blocks to lake, 2 blocks to grocery store, easy access to highway and downtown MPLS. All around perfect!

Simply put: Isles Inn Uptown Minneapolis Lake of the Isles was a fantastic stay for us. The Inn and our hosts proved to be our best VRBO experience ever: period! I cannot recommend enough the Inn, hosts and location (great neighborhood). We look for to a return visit!!

This property is super tidy and totally functional, has everything you need, and is comfortable and cute. The property owner is friendly, helpful, and available. The space is private, comfortable, and the location can't be beat. We had a lovely time and staying here made our trip easy and enjoyable. We have already booked to stay here again!

The online pics do not do justice to Isles Inn Uptown. You will not be disappointed! We’ve rented many VRBO in the US & Europe & haven’t been as impressed as we were with Isles Inn Uptown. Kent & Liz are lovely hosts that pay attention to every detail to ensure your stay is perfect! First, the place was spotless, the amenities provided were generous & top notch. The kitchen is very well appointed with nice dishes, glasses, flatware, cookware! & utensils. (I note this due to some real disappointments in other rental experiences.) We were blown away by the level of detail & quality & quantity of amenities provided. The beds are also very comfortable - including the fold-out sofa bed. The neighborhood is quiet & beautiful with a quaint vibe. We most enjoyed walks around the neighborhood admiring the amazing gardening skills of so many homeowners as well as walks around Lake of the Isles, Lake Bde Maka Ska & Lake Harriet. The location provides easy access to the freeway system & also easy walks to a grocery, restaurants/cafes & coffee shop. We look forward to our next visit!

We loved walking around the neighborhood and lakes in the evening as it was hot and humid during the day. It stays lighter this far north and there were lots of couples and families walking at the same time. The apartment has great air conditioning so we kept cool. We also slept well as the apartment is in the back, not on the street so it's quiet. There are many cafes around to choose from and we enjoyed the fact that we could walk to them. There is a wonderful supermarket just 2 blocks away. Kent and Liz were there to greet us, and made us feel very welcome!!

Excellent appartement ! Filled with modern appliances and thoughtful attention to the needs of the traveller in a gorgeous neighborhood setting. So well appointed one feels like the first person to rent the space. My favorite details were the ice maker in the fridge door and the soothing sounds of the rainforest to fall asleep to from the atmospheric sounds maker in the bedroom. The spiral staircase was a stunning feature that reminded me of a Parisian place I once rented. There are plenty of hangers In the closet; abondance of towels and toilet paper; commercial dispensers of soaps and lotions in each bathroom; mirrors and lights and two TVs. A real gem!

Outstanding accommodations in a very nice area! This is the place to stay if you appreciate attention to detail, comfort, cleanliness, and organization. Great location for walking to dining and grocery. We were very impressed with Kent and Liz’s place and them as hosts.

Hidden away behind a snazzy East Isles redo, this hip two story hideaway is like a hidden jewel box, with every amenity tucked neatly into a comfortable pad with an artsy, cozy, immaculate vintage vibe. The owner and host is as responsive as you can imagine, and the home itself is fresh, clean, and inspired. The East Isles neighborhood is clean, family focused, and convenient to everything, and the property itself is a short walking distance to an upscale grocery store and Lake of the Isles. We signed on for a longer term stay this Spring and ended up expanding it into the summer. This is a terrific find!

Less than a mile from two book stores, which were among our stops. . Terrific property. Everything new. Unit well supplied and well organized. Relaxing neighborhood near Lake of the Isles. Owner, Kent, did a great job with this rebuild.

If you are coming to Minneapolis, Isles Inn Uptown is definitely the place to stay. It’s located in the Lowry Hill neighborhood and is close to many great restaurants and cute coffee shops. I got up every morning and walked for coffee but there is an amazing grocery store within several blocks. The Walker Art Museum is also just a ten minute walk away. Our host Kent did every thing to make our stay perfect. He redid every part of the place himself and you can see it in his careful attention to detail and all the amenities that are provided. The kitchen has all you need to fix all your own meals. There is a washer and dryer, a gas fireplace and two televisions! Even two showers. And the WiFi worked perfectly. Close to the 6 bus line to take down town. We took a Lyft everywhere which were all very reasonably priced. My favorite part was the wrought iron spiral staircase leading to the upstairs bedroom. The master bedroom can be blacked out to be very dark and it was very quiet at night. We actually slept better here than at home. On one of our walks we met several of the neighbors who were all delightful. We give this place our HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION and can’t wait to return.
