This place was exactly what we were looking for as we planned an after Christmas Getaway with our small family. There was plenty of space, the house and scenery are beautiful and we had a wonderful time. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This is a beautiful house and property. It slept our party well with a great kitchen and deck. The yard and firepit area were a great hangout also. Although the lake access was tough with the low water in the channel but not impossible. All in all, we had a great time.

This home was beautiful. Very comfortable for all of us. It was nice to BBQ together and sit out on the deck and relax! The room above the garage provided an escape for us old folks while the kids enjoyed board games.. on the list for next time!

We stayed here for a quiet, relaxing time with family. It was just that! When it was cold outside we turned enjoyed the warmth of the fireplace and watched a movie. The owners were easy to contact when we realized we didn't have trash bags, and they promptly dropped off a box. It was convenient to have laundry units so we didn't go home with dirty laundry.

Super cute comfortable cabin. Beautifully decorated. Location is off a bit of a busy road, but besides vehicle noise, it was a quiet peaceful area. 5 minute drive from Reeds Grocery, gas, etc. Loved the upstairs bonus room! Kitchen was well stocked. Right on Snowmobile trails. Only cons were: not a lot of lighting throughout the whole cabin. No gutters on this home, so the ice build-up on the driveway, sidewalk, & deck was dangerous...There was ample supply of ice melt that we did put out, however. There wasn't much for cleaning supplies at all; being winter in MN, & the ice melt/snow, etc, we had nothing to mop around doorways with, we had to just use paper towels, which used up the paper towels fast. Lastly, there was an issue with lady bugs, mainly on the top floor in the bonus room...Dead all over the carpet, & live one's all over the windows. Again, going on spring in MN, its going to happen that they get in; but cleaning people should have atleast vacuumed up the dead ones. Overall, great cabin, & would recommend for a wintery vacation. 😊

We rented the property for a weekend getaway. Perfect size for 7 adults, with plenty of space. The lower level was much cooler than the other floors, but otherwise everything was great. The property was as described & well stocked, with everything we needed. Would definitely rent again!!

This was our first time using Vrbo and our first time to Crosslake; both were a hit! My wife and 2 younger kids were looking for a relaxing winter getaway out of the Twin Cities and this fit the bill perfectly. Crosslake was the perfect size "up-north small town" in our opinion. The lakehouse was 3.5 miles out of Crosslake for groceries, take-out and our daily latte run :) . The house is on a nice wooded property and the inside was quite nice with a lot of quality touches. We stay at hotels a couple times a year and I would say this place was presented as clean and neat or better than a nice hotel. Our only gripe would be that the main level was a little chilly and the basement was downright freezing (the outdoor temp was was hovering around sub-zero for our stay). This didn't really affect the quality of our stay (we didn't even bother reaching out to the hosts for a thermostat adjustment) just thought I would mention it. Would definitely recommend this property to others; in fact we are thinking about coming back to check it out in the summer if our schedule allows!

A beautiful home that gave us the opportunity for a new Christmas tradition. We loved the upstairs game room. We spent most of our time up there!

Family from Minnesota and California got together fir a great thanksgiving. The teens enjoyed being able to access all of our accounts on the smart tv. Played board games as a family. And our golden retriever loved the big yard. The location was very convenient to everything in the area.

Had a really fun time with a group of adults for a 40th birthday near Cuyuna biking (like 30 mins away). Space was great for having a big group with fun “family room” space on 2nd floor. The sleeping was not ideal for couples with a mix of bunk beds, one no wall room, one full bed, one room above garage… it’s all in this listing for sure but I’d probably choose to go with kids who care less about having privacy at night vs several couples.

We rented this property for a family wedding that was held at Pine Peaks Event Center. It was a super easy and quick trip to the venue. The house was just perfect for us. Spread out bedrooms so no one was on top of one another. Super clean and lots of areas to gather and have fun. Great views of the lake and all around great experience.

This property is stunning. Beautiful view of the lake. Lots of trees. Very relaxing. We arrived to a very cold house but that was quickly corrected with a text to the owner as the thermostat is controlled remotely. Sadly the fireplaces were not yet turned on even though it was in the upper 30s/low 40s overnight and only in the 60s during the day. Very little outdoor lighting and no chairs for around the firepit that weren't broken and no firewood. We ended up going into town and buying our own chairs and firewood. But other than those minor things, we had a lovely stay. The house is beautiful. We had a small group so we had plenty of space to spread out and relax. The home has many nice high finishing touches. Would stay again.

ChAd and Michelle were very responsive to all questions I had during our stay. The place was clean and well appointed. I would recommend and stay again.

Chad & Michelle we’re incredibly communicative and helpful with both our vacation rental and nearby amenities that they recommended for us to check out. The place was perfect for our group, was clean, and had everything you can ask for in a Vrbo rental. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be looking to book with them again in the future!

Had some miscommunication with the owners upfront as the minimum stay was not set up correctly on the site. Had to pay for a portion of a third night even though we only needed for two. Altogether worked out fine. Also some of the bed layouts in the pictures have changed, so be sure to ask ahead - more beds in the loft, which doesn’t have a bathroom, than expected.

We had a great stay! House was beautiful and as advertised. Patio is very spacious and has a lot of seating. Water levels very low for boating in and out - to be expected with this year (very nice and helpful neighbors though). Loved our weekend!

Close to town. Right on the lake.

Rented house with a few friends and enjoyed our weekend. Yard was big enough for yard games and dock was handy to tie up a boat.
