This is a beautiful home with all the amenities. It’s well equipped, spacious, comfortable beds,and a glorious view of the Deschutes river. We had bikes available, ping pong, pool….the kids loved it! We will hopefully stay here again! Thank you, Smiths.

Home is large and comfortable. A great view of the river and quiet place to relax. The fall leaves were turning and it was a treat to sit on the deck around the fire pit in the evening. Close to shopping, restaurants and breweries.. The kitchen is stocked with anything you need with a large table for many to enjoy games! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Definitely would recommend and stay again!

10 high school friends enjoyed this home tremendously. Wish we could come back every year! Thank you for such a lovely home In beautiful Bend.

This is the third time we have rented this house/lodge for our family get together. It is perfect for my 5 young adult grandchildren. They love the river, the tubes, kayak canoe, and the bikes, so much for them to keep busy. Everything was just absolutely perfect, as usual. Shirley, Schultz and family

beautiful location - on the river with easy access to downtown Bend. Lots of amenities ands access to River. Was a little concerned with no A/C... but house stays surprisingly cool.

Doug kindly let us drop off our suitcases early so we could hit Costco. His home is HUGE, beautiful, clean, and very well stocked with all you need to cook all your meals. My only disappointment was that my two grandsons couldn't swim right off the dock because of the mud--but that's nothing compared to all this home offers! Thanks, Doug! (Wish you weren't already full all of next summer!)

We had a great time! 9 people total including 3 kids. This house was a perfect size to give everyone their own space but still be together.

A beautiful house on a beautiful stretch of the Deschutes river! We had a smaller group this time, but a few years ago we had 16 people and it didn't feel crowded at all! The location is great - close to downtown, shopping, etc., and right off the main highway to all of Bend's outdoor attractions. The river is dammed just downstream from the house, making for a lovely lake area for paddle boarding, canoeing, or simply lazing in a tube. The property comes with lots of water equipment and bikes, so you don't need to bring your own. If you have a good-sized group of people looking for a comfortable place to stay, this place can't be beat!

For 12 years Central Or. has been the favorite location for 8 Senior mens golf trip and this house is by far the highlight of our trip. Great location, beautiful home, wonderful amenities and hands down the best owner to work with. Thanks Doug for another great stay and see you again next year.

Stayed here with 10 adults total for a getaway weekend and LOVED it. Doug had easy instructions to get in and was available if we needed him. We loved the location to downtown, the access to the river with kayaks and canoes, and everyone had plenty of space to themselves and a comfortable sleeping situation. Would definitely stay at Doug’s place again when I’m back in Bend.

I've been renting VRBO stays for more than a decade, and this was the nicest place we've ever stayed. Beautiful home, awesome location right on the river, plenty of space for a group of 9 friends (with plenty of room to spare). Doug was a great, communicative host, and we'll definitely be staying here the next time we come to Bend.

It was an absolute dream to wake up on the river every morning! The accommodations were great with games stocked and all the cooking utensils needed. Would 10/10 recommend booking here!

This house was amazing! Great views, well-stocked kitchen, and comfortable sleeping arrangements. Five bathrooms are crucial when you’re with 10 girlfriends! The location was great as well - walking distance to downtown or just a quick drive.

First time grandkids saw snow. Beautiful home that accommodates the entire family. Would love to stay here in the summer….. But adult children and grandchildren loved skiing and snowboarding at Mt. Bachelor. Mahalo for your hospitality!!

This was our 39th annual ski trip and probably one of our favorite houses to have stayed in.

We have stayed in this property the past two winters to ski and have fun. The house is very well appointed and the owner is very responsive to any issues.

We have been coming annually for many years because we love the property so much. The owner provides comprehensive details about the house and check in. Everything is made so easy and such a pleasure. The only small issue is that the ice maker is broken which requires buying ice every day.

Would do again.

I rent a lot of short term rentals and this one was, by far, the best one I’ve ever stayed in. The pictures don’t do it justice. Was perfect to host my friends and family for my daughters wedding at the High Desert Museum. Would love to come back in the summertime and enjoy the river!!
