- overall, good communication
- homey vibes
- seemed well prepared for guest stay
Cons:
- allergic reaction cause by the home
- inconsistent communication after allergic reaction incident
- had to find new accommodation immediately without property owner being willing to discuss a refund.
Within 20 minutes of being at the property my wife had an allergic reaction to something in the home. We needed to leave immediately, get medication, and find new lodging. It became apparent that we would not be able to stay or sleep comfortably without my wife continuing to have this allergic reaction.
We communicated this with the property manager. We needed to find new lodging immediately, and the property manager was not willing to give us a refund on the stay even though we spent less than 30 minutes there in total. We did pay extra for the travel insurance so we are currently looking into getting some money back in that way, but it was unfortunate that they were not willing to work with us, as we ended up paying for 2 different accommodations for this trip.
Regardless, the place was cute and seemed well cared for. I do wish we could have had a better experience overall.

Just came for the weekend and really enjoyed our stay. Nice fenced in yard for our puppy. Would stay here again. Hostess got back to me within minutes with any concerns.

We needed a property that would allow us to bring our senior dog with us, and this home provided a great space. The backyard is fully fenced in and offers a large place for pets to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to major highways.

The property was well maintained and we really enjoyed our stay. We were visiting due to a death in my partner's family and it was a very convenient location. The privacy was just what my partner and I needed. Convenient street parking. A clean and adequately equipped kitchen and just minutes away from grocery shopping and food delivery. The host having multiple streaming services added to the comfort.

As others have reported, this is an older house, with all the attendant quirks: steep stairs, small bathroom, etc. But it is exactly as described and pictured, and we were happy with our stay. We really appreciate the dog friendly property and had a nice time sitting out in the backyard on nice days.

We had a fantastic 3 night stay in this lovely little house. The house is very centrally located with an easy on/off to 94.

I loved the fenced-in backyard. My dog sniffed, roamed, and hung out. And there's a nice patio where you can have a meal. Overall it was a great place!

Not a lot of places allow pets, this house is a rare gem and we loved being able to have our dog stay with us instead of having to board her for the weekend. Quaint, cute and quiet neighborhood.
We enjoyed the back yard space and the kitchen is very well stocked, which is also rare in rentals

It was a nice quiet neighborhood. It was also nice to have a fenced backyard so my service dog could play and be a dog. So often we find places where backyards aren’t completely fenced or have something in the backyard that would cause an issue. It was great.
The quiet and solitude was nice as we had friends come visit us both nights we stayed and had enough room to visit with them.

Property was exactly as described. Owner was very laid back and easy to talk to/get in contact with. My doggo stayed with us and was very comfortable in the home, as well. Would stay there again if ever in the area.

This is a simple older home with a nice fenced backyard in a peaceful neighborhood that reminded me of the smaller Midwestern city where I grew up.
It was perfect for our small family and dogs, as a place to relax after attending an event in St Paul. The convenience of being able to let our dogs out the back door, where they were free to run in the yard, made it a much better alternative to staying at a hotel.
The host is very professional and accommodating.
We would definitely stay here again.

The property is exactly as advertised. It was super clean, we had absolutely no issues. The location is perfect with easy access to main roads. The host was great, checking in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend this house and we will for sure be looking to see if it is available on our next trip to the Twin Cities.

My wife and spent the night at the house while attending a Viking Packers game. The location was nice and the house was cozy.

The property is located close to the interstate and and we were able to get to downtown St. Paul and Minneapolis attractions within 20 min. Not much traffic even with some construction on the interstate. Nice quiet area with street parking available in front of the house while we were there. We were there in November while it was a bit cold so we didn't enjoy the backyard but is would have been pretty other times of the year. There was a nice sitting room to enjoy after a day out while the kids enjoyed the TV. We enjoyed our time there. Jane was very helpful and had suggestions to check out in there area. She was quick to respond when we had an issue with the thermostat and helped to resolve the issue!

This home was just right for our small family consisting of 2 adults, a 2 1/2 year old and our dog. Love having the security of a fenced in yard! Very quiet neighborhood, close to everything you need when visiting the twin cities, or a day trip to Stillwater or Hudson. We hiked and adventured many state parks, visited family in Shakopee, found great BBQ and Mexican restaurants. Jane was quick to communicate. Definitely recommend!

Jane is easy to contact, knowledgeable of her home. We were in town for a wedding and felt central to everything. The dog park is top notch, always full of friendly people and dogs! The yard is quiet and peaceful, we used the outdoor table and chairs provided quite often.No doubt, we will be back!

Arena. It was less than 10 minute Uber each way. The biggest issue was construction going on in st.Paul. Jane was responsive when we had some minor issues and willing to resolve. Thanks!

Lovely little home with a great fenced in yard for our pups. VERY clean. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The beds were exceptionally comfortable with lovely bedding. The kitchen was small, but very functional. The dining room/sunroom off the kitchen was a lovely place to unwind and read a book. The only unusual aspect was an awkward/teeny tiny half bath in the master bedroom.

The fensed in backyard was a bonus for my fur baby. We were in town for a Twins game and the location was perfect; 25 minute drive to the ball park. It was hot and humid during our stay. The window units kept the house cool, but we would've preferred cooler. The house is smaller than I anticipated, but the charm and quaintness made up for that.

Nice place to stay to get around the city and still have a nice quiet backyard, within walking distance to nice restaurants, very pleasant stay and wonderful interactions with Jane. Thank you so much, will definitely consider if back in the area.

Long weekend visiting with my adult children and grandchild. Excellent location, well equipped kitchen. We made a nice Cinco de Mayo dinner. It was muggy at night and there was only one fan so we borrowed one from my son. Nice yard but we didn’t get a chance to use the patio and grill due to the weather.
