Nice villa with great pool and view

The home is as advertised. It is large, and open, with incredible views of Dawn Beach and the ocean. The pool is also large, very clean, and well-lit at night. The bedrooms are well appointed, and the beds are very comfortable. Overall, and great experience and we would certainly return.

We enjoyed the stay. Everything was perfect. The location the service and the home stand out. We loved St Maarten and Villa Suzanna. We would definetly stay here again. The host was terrific as well.

This house and location exceeded all expectations. It was absolutely perfect and the view was one of the most beautiful we've had from a VRBO rental. I highly recommend you rent a car with plenty of power as we struggled getting up a steep hill when it rained. If you're an adventurer then there is more than you can do in a week's time. Or if you just like to relax at the house then you couldn't make a better choice with this one. If and when we ever come back we will definitely stay at Villa Suzanne.

This is our third time back at this property and it never disappoints. Beautiful home and perfect view, very relaxing. Catherine is the best, so helpful and always available if anything is needed. Hopefully we will be back!

House was beautiful, clean and ready for our arrival. Our daughter is in a mechanical wheelchair. The house design worked very well for her free movement. The views kept us entertained all day and night. The house keeper Catherine and her assistant Claire were friendly, efficient and helpful with our many questions. The pool guy was also friendly and efficient. We highly recommend the home for a family or a group of friends.

We had such a wonderful experience staying at Villa Suzanne! What a beautiful place! Catherine was so helpful when we needed directions (we forgot them) to get there. Thank you for providing a relaxing and lovely stay.

The villa was advertised. Each room and bathroom was large and in excellent condition. Pool and outdoor area was lovely. A little windy this past week so we spent most of time at the protected beaches on the French side of the island

We were greeted by the housekeeper Catherine with a beautiful welcome basket. We booked our honeymoon for 10 days with 3 other couples in the house. Everything was beautiful. Pool was very cold for swimming and beach was a short 3 min walk but very windy. It’s a must to have a vehicle as lots of hills to get anywhere. Owners were fantastic to deal with prior to our arrival. Beautiful views of St Barth’s Highly recommend renting this home. We all had a fabulous time

Views from the Villa will exceed expectations. Great property.

The home was lovely with beautiful views, the home was clean, and we really like the disposition of the housekeeper, Clair. However, the reason we chose this property over other VRBO property was the view and the pool. When we got there the pool was dirty, and had not been cleaned in a month. The pool guy came after much instance from us, and we were advised that the property owner, had known the pool needed a new pump for a month, so he was aware the pool was not operable when he rented us the home. We had to go to the property next door and rent another condo, in order to have pool facilities. When we requested the homeowner compensate us for our inconvenience and expense e they offered a 200.00 refund, when we didn’t except, they then offered a 500.00 refund. We requested they comp us another week next year, after pool had been repaired, they refused. We would have understood had they not already been aware of the problem before we rented. When we arrived the Only TV in the house did not work, and the coffee pot did not work, they did replace those after we had been there two days. .

What can I say? This property is everything it says it is and more! We had a fabulous time staying at Villa Suzanne . It was exactly what we needed to relax and enjoy our first time in St Martin. Catherine is such a gem and fabulous! We thoroughly enjoyed our entire stay and will definitely be back.

Wow wow wow. We’ve been home for a couple weeks and I just can’t wait to go back. The location is amazing. Catherine, the housekeeper, is a treasure, and everything about the house is a dream. The thing I most loved? Hearing the waves crashing night and day. It was so calming and enjoyable. Many days and nights were spent just lounging, hearing the water. If I could improve upon one thing, it would be better mattresses. But that’s splitting hairs; sleeping on the couch would be just fine in such a wonderful house!! We will absolutely be back!!!

Villa Suzanne was as wonderful a Villa in 2022 as it was in 2012. It once again did not dissapoint.

The house is exactly as in the pictures...it is absolutely beautiful. Catherine is the BEST house manager we have ever had....friendly, knowledgable, accomodating, beautiful!

Our family stayed at Villa Suzanne for a week, and it was everything we had hoped for, the place is wonderful! We had all four bedrooms and everyone loved them. Lots of room and places to just hangout and be together. The kitchen is very well equipped and we fixed several incredible meals while there. You will want to rent a car as you have to drive to whatever places and things you might want to do on the island. Catherine is amazing and keeps the place spotless, we thank her for time and attention to details for us. After staying at many fine places with VRBO this one would be at the top of our list! You will not be sorry you booked it. Enjoy!

We recently stayed in Villa Suzanne during a couples trip to St. Maarten and our stay was nothing less than perfect. Catherine was there to meet us on our arrival and was available for anything we needed during our stay. The villa was exactly as it looks in pictures, the views were amazing, the location we felt was perfect, right at the border between the Dutch and French sides of the island. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay, we only wish we could have stayed longer! The only suggestion i have for anyone staying here in the future is to make sure if you rent a car, that it has sufficient power as there are several steeply inclined roads on the way to the villa (our small car had some difficulty).

My friends and I traveled to Sint Maarten to celebrate the big 5-0 and Villa Suzanne was the perfect setting. Waking up on that first morning to the ocean, palm trees and tropical breezes is a moment never to be forgotten. There were a total of 6 of us on the trip and the villa was ideal for this size of group. The many seating areas allowed for some of us to be watching TV while others were playing games. The pool was immaculate and the new addition of strobe lights made for fun evening dance parties! (We kept it relatively quiet!) I think it is safe to say that everyone in our group would happily return to Villa Suzanne for another unforgettable vacation.

Being a nurses and realtors during the COVID world had completely exhausted us. We needed a well deserved and relaxing vacation, and Villa Suzanne provided that. The location and views are amazing. We went to sleep each evening with the sounds of the waves breaking and woke each morning to the birds singing. Catherine was so dear and always available to answer our questions. Many homes on the island were completely destroyed or damaged. Villa Suzanne survived, with little damage. A few things need attention, but overall it was a wonderful vacation and a beautiful island.

We are so lucky to have travelled to Villa Suzanne in January 2021. We were 2 couples traveling together to celebrate a 50th birthday. The villa is amazing. That view! Being able to sit by the pool and overlook the ocean was mesmerizing. The beginning of our week was windy so the pool was too cool for us to enjoy floating about. The kitchen has everything you might need. We cooked for ourselves most of the time. We did have Catherine cook for us our first night which was just wonderful after a day of travel. Catherine is the BEST! You can walk to the beach. The neighborhood felt very safe. We would definitely stay here again. We had an amazing week and can't wait to return.

We had a wonderful time here at Villa Suzanne! The home and setting couldn’t be any better! It’s right next door to the Westin so I we felt like we had the best of both world. The beach is just a 3 minute walk away. Catherine (the house mgr) has the most beautiful smile and laugh and kept everything in tip top shape. We hope to come back soon!

This place is a gem. It was our 4th time renting villa on St Martin and the best by a mile.Spacious, sparkling clean, well decorated... Catherine and her team provide efficient housekeeping, 5 min walk to the beach,all combines for the wonderful vacation Few things to improve: put wi-fi range extenders, reception in bedrooms poor or lost. For people who like to cook, the size of the BBQ is rather small, manageable, but small That's all , but overall 5stars+

Cons, We had three cars drive was a little tight. There was a tree frog that seemed to enjoy one of our couples company a little to much for there liking. Pros, House was well laid out for access to relax and have a wonderful time. Seating areas were very comfortable and open yet protected from harsh rains. We spent most all of our time outside and was not bothered by the morning or evening sun or rains. We were able to watch the sunrise from pool area. There was a beautiful bird which would visit the hibiscus plant every morning while we were with in an arms reach. I thought it was awesome waking up with my coffee that at peace with nature. Care takers were unobtrusive and gracious when engaged. We had an issue with one of the A/C units yet the room never got unbearably uncomfortable. The unit was fixed promptly with in the same day. I think it was because someone messed with the remote and it wasn't the unit at all. We had a good view of the ocean yet wasn't close enough for it to be a source of constant over bearing noise to contend with. We enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of her and waking up to the sail boats going out for the day. The neighbor hood was quite and no sounds of any traffic. If it wasn't for the top of one roof we could see, you would of thought you were all by yourself and not in a neighbor hood. We all really enjoyed the feeling of privacy this villa offered inside and out. If your'e looking for the hustle and bustle of a resort vacation it's a 4 minute walk away yet you would never know it was there. Thank you !!

Villa Suzanne has the best of everything. The four master suites were perfect. The views were breathtaking. Short walk to Dawn Beach. Convenient to Phillipsburg and Orient Beach. Ready to make my next reservation.
