A bit of a walk to the river - but close enough for most people.The property is in very good condition. Everything works. Up-to-date appliances. Two couples fit here quite easily.The property managers provide lots of useful information and are responsive to questions.Great restaurant, Noble Fare nearby. Anita's Deli is also close by - order some sandwiches for your walk through the historic district.You can't go wrong at The Eleanor.

Most everything was in walkable distance....tours, River Street, the Visitor's Center, restaurants, parks, and so much shopping. We would stay here again, and we'd recommend it to our friends!

Annoying because the guest staying above our apartment had a dog and we could hear its nails as it walked on the wooden floor. Annoying because we could hear the person/people above us speaking and dropping what sounded like heavy items on the floor later in the evening. And, annoying because there weren't any hand towels in the bathrooms so we had to find a store to buy several. Nothing earth-shattering but will not be staying at the Eleanor again.

The property is ideally located. Don’t bother renting a car! Anything you might need is a short walk away. Parker’s confidence store is near by and has the basics: eggs, milk, fresh bread, etc. for any meals you may choose to make in the well stocked kitchen apartment but with so many great restaurants in the area, you might not do any cooking!

We can't say enough great things about our stay at the Eleanor! This apartment was immaculately clean, the perfect amount of vintage with modern updates, and the location was perfect. We could walk literally everywhere, parking was a breeze at the nearby parking garage, and we felt very safe in the area. My friend and I have already said when we return to Savannah for our next trip, we want to stay here again.

Lovely home in Savannah, it had everything we needed. We were able to walk to so many places, quiet neighborhood. We felt pretty safe in the area.

The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, the living area was quaint, and the location was great. Every room was very clean and check in & out was easy. This is a great property, conveniently located for SCAD orientation weekend w our son. Older bldg, but the apartment is nicely updated while still respecting some of the nicer (ex: hardwood floors) original features. Street is a bit busy, but bedrooms located at the back for a quiet night's sleep. Mgt company very communicative & accommodating - even storing our bags when our flight was early & apt wasn't ready. W/D in unit, fully appointed kitchen, 2 full baths, plenty of room to gather -or not. Would definitely recommend! Thank you!

The unit was exactly as advertised. Roomy, clean and well appointed. Parking was a cinch, and we were conveniently located to just about everything.

This apartment was in an awesome location, was really clean, and had a lot of nice character. Definitely appreciated the quantity of towels and extras (dishwasher pods, laundry detergent). It was a great size for our family of 4, and even with two small kids, we were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. Places we recommend if traveling with kids: the GA railroad museum and the lobby of the Marriott, which is like a museum with tons of fossils and huge geodes.

Everything inside was well kept (except for a roach or two running around - maybe the weather). Outside is not really like the posted picture ... kind of run down - also with roaches. Great location, quiet, accessible to everything... inside was updated, with lots of supplies... management was responsive... overall, not a bad deal.

The only small glitch was getting the key out of the lockbox in the dark...there were three lockboxes to choose from, and the instructions were unclear...I called and got a clue from the owner and we did get in. Other than that little thing, it was great!
