Exactly as advertised. Simple but met all my needs.

Great location near Tourmaline surfing beach. Property has just about everything you could need for your stay. I was there for 1.5 months and overall was satisfied with my stay. Best suited for a single or couple. There is noise from the main house with moving furniture that sometimes goes on much later than desired, even though there are quiet hours. They need to put a rug or furniture sliders under the furniture/bar stools in the adjacent house to alleviate the excessive noise. The noise is very dependent on who is staying in the main house. Most people are quiet. Over my 1.5 months I had about 10 nights of very noisy neighbors moving furniture around late at night. There are also a fair bit of daddy long leg spiders that will share your space. They don't bother anything (and are harmless) but it's worth noting if you have a fear of spiders. The groundskeepers are very nice and take care of any issues that come up. Also, having a bikes and surfboards were a nice bonus. I had my own board and there was space for storage outside. Overall, I would recommend the property.

My wife and I recently stayed here for several nights during our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it! The studio is stocked with everything we needed to cook and clean. We loved walking down to the beach to watch countless surfers catch waves. The sunsets were beautiful. When we weren’t at the beach we were exploring what San Diego has to offer ( which is a lot). It was an amazing experience. :)

Accurate description, excellent location, tons of great places to eat nearby, super short walk to beach, and again location, location, location!!!

Perfect place close to the beach

Richard and Team's studio offers a one of a kind location in North PB only a few blocks from Tourmaline beach and featuring everything you'd really need including amenities like bikes and surfboards. Would recommend to anyone traveling solo or as a couple looking to take advantage of the San Diego beach

Place was very clean and comfortable. Had lots of beach extras, chairs, towels, boards etc. kitchen nicely stocked. Neighborhood was quiet. Close to beaches. Only disadvantage is parking. If you drive or rent a car be prepared to park far from rental or hunt for a spot. Same issue if you want to drive to the beach. Parking is an issue at beaches.

I had an amazing time! I loved my little tiny home. It was a great location. San Diego is a beautiful place. When I return to San Diego, I would rent this same space. I just loved it!

We arrived at check in time to a cute clean studio. Perfect for two people. If you have a pet or pets staying with you, make sure they are small, as it is pretty tight quarters. The neighborhood is quite and perfectly located near the Pacific Beach area. We had a great time. Thé studio is confortable and you get anywhere walking or riding bicycle if you dont want To take your car. La Jolla je probably the best place To be in San Diego!

The small, yet comfortable renovated garage suite was clean and well suited for our needs. The location and proximity to transit & the beach was very good. The neighbourhood and businesses were very friendly and helpful. There were two issues that we had. The two bicycles were in dire need of repair and unsafe to use. (Loose handlebars & very warped tire). Secondly, and the reason we would not stay here again is the noise. As the garage is attached to the main house with the main living area very close to the head of the bed, we were kept up late (10-12pm) with walking and talking. Walls are very thin & the bed slides out from under the other units main living area. Thus we are almost sleeping 2ft under the houses floors. We were also awoken very early, 5:30-7AM each day for the same reason. Again, great area but the other units noise would stop us from recommending it or staying here again.

This studio was just perfect! It had everything we needed and was so close to the beach! Any questions we had were quickly answered! Would definitely stay again!

Loved the location, bikes were a nice added touch. Patio was wonderful for eating outdoors and catching some sunshine! Good value for the area. Would stay again. Thank you for having us!

Apartment was clean, comfortable and made great use of compact space. Our major complaint was being awoke by our neighbors in the "big house" attached at around 5 a.m. one morning. They and their children were quite loud (no indoor voices) and I had to get out of bed at 5:45 to ask them to keep it down. There were other more minor noise level issues with these neighbors, but not as bad. As much as we love children (we have 2) we don't like to be woken up at 5 a.m. by anyone. We blame the guests next door in part, but we feel better care might have been given to sound insulation. Finally, we don't appreciate the bribe of 10% discount offered by Norwood's for a 5 star review. That almost brought the review down to 3 stars, but this property was very nice except for noise level next door, thus 4 stars.

The property offered a delightful experience, especially for two people who were coming to California for the first time. We did not have to contact the owner/manager one single time and everything went seamless. The area is in a highly desirable location with a decent amount of walkability to local shops, restaurants and Pacific Beach. It's also a short drive to La Jolla, Downtown San Diego and many other local areas/attractions. I would highly recommend this stay to any group of two people looking to maximize their San Diego experience!

Two thumbs-up! This place is quiet, clean and cheerful. It had everything two people could need for a short stay. The location is perfect for renting a sailboat on Mission Bay or popping up to La Jolla. Of course, beautiful Tourmaline beach is just a few minutes' pleasant walk away. The galley kitchen and fridge are small but we only had breakfast and lunch "in" and went out for dinner. We slept with the windows open; there was no noise. The pull-out bed was fine. The bathroom is small but we weren't there to take bubble baths. It is also great value. Why book the Super 8 when you can have all this? We will be back.

Perfect for a beach getaway. We had everything we needed. The bed was comfy and the unit was clean. The space is very small but it's all functional.

The studio was exactly as promised. So conveniently located and the included bikes took us every where we needed to go--including down the hill to Tourmaline surf park!

What a comfy little place. Finding parking was super easy. Great neighborhood, nice walk to beach and Crystal Pier/Garnet area. Great price. Would love to stay again. Bed was extra comfortable too

This comfortable studio was fantastic for its location! Two blocks to the beach, and to the bus line which will get you on your way to all the wonderful places in San Diego! Plus walking distance to wonderful neighborhood shops, cafes, and bars. If you can try out the boogie boards, that's fun, too.

We enjoyed our week here. It is small, but cozy and comfortable for two. Studio is located near surfer area and within walking/biking distance to all that PB and MB offers. Beach towels, bikes and beach chairs a plus!

Really nice little rental. Only a few blocks from the beach. Close to a number of good restaurants and taco shops. Having bikes was also a huge plus. Really easy ride to Pacific Beach and also out to La Jolla. Very clean and host quickly responded to questions.

Stay was awesome, perfect size for two. Full kitchen, nice bathroom, super comfy bed, ac, convenient location, and comes with bikes! Easy Check in and check out plus reliable/quick communication from property manager. Can't beat it for the price!
