The property is so pretty. The condo is clean and updated. You can see the beach from the screened porch. Walking distance to everything. Owner was responsive.

This place is awesome! It's fully equipped and in the most perfect location! We felt at home as soon as we arrived! The photos reflect the reality. Trinda is so incredibly attentive! We simply cannot have asked for a better location, stay and host!

We spent six nights at Cayman Reef Resort and it was PERFECT! Trinda could not have been more responsive and she had everything ready for us when we arrived. The unit was spacious, clean, and bright with all appliances in great shape. Lots of little extras made for a fabulous stay. We were literally just steps from the pool and the beach, with close access to lots of shopping (Camana Bay is the best!), supplies, and restaurants. Staff on property (particularly Hal) were friendly and we always felt safe. We'll be back!!

I would recommend this condo to anyone. Everything inside was new and clean and worked as expected. The swimming pool is big and clean. It is in a good location if you don't have a car. Camana Bay shopping area is a 10 minute walk away and it has restaurants and a big grocery store and a Starbucks. There are restaurants and a dive shop shop across the street and Rubi's gas station is just a 3 min walk and has milk, bread and basic stuff. There are beach chairs with umbrellas and small tables available in the sand and a couple of tables with chairs up on the top of the wall. The only minor drawback to the location is that the south end of Seven Mile Beach is not as wide as it is farther north so if you want a wide expanse of sand you have to walk for 5 minutes. Next time we come to Geand Cayman we'll try to stay in the same condo.

I need to start by saying that Trinda, condo owner and property manager, tried to make this rental right by providing a substantial discount -- after we left. Unfortunately there were a few big problems. Most egregious: two days before our trip, Trinda notified me that she forgot to tell us that there was work scheduled on the building that our ground floor rental was located in and she needed to move us to another condo in a different building. Trinda offered our choice of a larger unit on the second floor (unacceptable as my husband is recovering from hip surgery) or a mirror image unit on the ground floor. While the floor plan of the substitute unit was basically the same, the replacement unit was not as nicely furnished and certainly not "newly renovated" or "well-stocked." (For example, blinds were missing or not in working condition, the single closet was so full it was not possible to hang anything in it, the dishwasher was unusable because the sealer around the door was unattached, interior doors were difficult to open/close, etc..) The resort property itself was pretty and well maintained - although looking at a fumigation tent for several days detracted from the view. I did not actually speak with Trinda during our stay although I did both call and text the contact number provided. All in all, we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay on one of our favorite islands. It just wasn't what we had initially paid for, planned for and expected , or what our previous VRBO rentals have been like. I would like to believe that this experience was a unique and unfortunate occurrence. (On a positive note, VRBO has already provided the manager-initiated discount.)

Not the newest property on 7 mile beach, but we'll kept and inviting. All condos have a view of the ocean.

This property is exactly as detailed. The location is perfect if you don’t want to have a car. The beach is beautiful- the water is amazing. Bring your snorkel for the water right in front of you! There is a liquor store across the street and the grocery store is only a 10 min walk. There are all kinds of shops and restaurants within a 5/10 min walk. The host is very responsive and went above and beyond for us. We will be back!

Floors were a little dirty when walking on them. Clean looking but picked up some dirt on bare feet..... no big deal......

Warm water, warm air. Friendly fellow beach enjoyers. Clean grounds. This unit on the shade side from the afternoon sun & close to beach. What’s not to enjoy!

Everything was accurately presented online. On site property owner is nice if there is a problem - We had none - Very happy and will plan on staying again.

We stayed at Unit 17 at Cayman Reef Resort and couldn't have picked a better place. The unit is just like shown in the pictures and for us was not lacking in anything that we needed. It was spotless, the bed was comfortable and enough towels for the 2 of us for the week. Didn't use the Washer and dryer so can't comment on those. Trinda was great to work with and responsive. Would definitely stay here if we return to Grand Cayman. This unit was close to the beach.

Love, love love to stay here! The remodel is really beautiful and Trinda supplies so many things that you need. The condo was spotless! I really appreciate the free phone calls to the USA so we don't have to worry about family contacting us. We have been here at least 5 years in a row and that would not happen if we had any issues. Trinda is always available if you need her. We love Trinda's condos at Cayman Reef Resort!!

This unit was simply lovely! Impeccably clean and modern, stunning location and the little courteous amenities really made it feel like home for our time on island. We will be back! Thank you!

This is the resort to stay at. I came with my wife and 5 month old baby and it was the perfect place to stay. Everything we needed was in the condo with the beach being only 20 steps away. It was quiet and so peaceful. We will definitely be back. Thank you Trinda.

Our stay at #17 was great! It was exactly as advertised. I try to do my homework in all aspects that are important to ME on a vacation before I book and I was not disappointed. One of our big prerequisites is cleanliness and this condo did not disappoint. Another is communication and the owners always responded in a timely fashion and were very considerate and helpful. We loved the welcoming basket, especially the bottle of wine which I think was opened within the first 30 minutes of arrival! The condo was just perfect for two people... more than big enough. The location is great also; close enough to different resorts to visit restaurants and different amenities but far enough away to not be bothered by the hustle and bustle. And... the ocean. Another priority. You can’t forget about that because it is right at your doorstep. Such a long beautiful stretch of sand for walking or just visiting beach bars and restaurants along the way. There was never a problem getting a chair or umbrella and we were never bothered by the cruise people that were further down on the beach on certain days or music coming from the Royal Palm. We also loved that the owners had a binder on the coffee table to give instructions on EVERYTHING. So, make sure you read that first. You’ll have no difficulty turning the tv on, (which by the way you need a PhD to do now no matter what country you’re living in!), hailing a bus or ordering a pizza to be delivered! They have thought of everything! It reminded my husband and I of ourselves. We loved the screened in patio area and we ate out there several evenings. Don’t forget that the grocery and liquor stores are not open on Sunday so plan accordingly. We love Grand Cayman. We have already booked for next year. The people are very friendly and you can choose to do nothing or everything! Life is too short, what are you waiting for?

We enjoyed our stay - great location and close to the water!

The property was clean and well maintained. And recently renovated. Walkout to seven mile beach a few steps away. Welcome bottle of wine and cake was a nice touch . Very pleased.

First we had the most spectacular spot to see sunsets! The beach was great! Always found an umbrella and chairs. Our unit was clean and had anything we needed in the fully stocked kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the TVs were very new and had many channels. Washer and dryer nice to go home with clean clothes. Bath slightly small but the shower was very nice. Had extras such as beach towels, cooler and float for pool. Had a welcome package from Trinda which was really nice! There was no screen on the patio but really not a major issue. Loved that we didn’t need a key, key punch was great. Didn’t rent a car and walked most places and if taxi needed came right to the unit. City bus also available. Everyone was very nice! Loved Cayman Island and Cayman Reef Resort!!

Steps to the beach, this unit has everything you need for your beach vacation! Couldn’t ask for a more responsive owner - much appreciated!

Cayman Reef Resort is the perfect place for a Cayman Vacation. Our condo was very comfortable, had all the amenities including a full kitchen, oven/stove, microwave oven, refridgerator and dishwasher. A very comfortable living room with a large screen satellite TV plus a kindle and telephone access back to the US. Central Air Conditioning keeps the condo cool and comfortable. We also had a nice sized bathroom with shower plus a washer and dryer which is perfect for bringing less clothes with you plus you can dry your bathing suits and towels for the next beach visit. The beach is just a small stroll with sandy white beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas to protect you from the sun. If you like water sports they are offered two properties away at the Royal Palms Beach Club plus they have a nice bar and restaurant. There's a parking spot for your car should you rent one plus the complex is patrolled by security personnel. If you are a couple or small or large family this is the place to stay on Grand Cayman Island.

We have stayed in Trinda's condo several years now and she has always been a great host. We recently wanted a last minute trip and Trinda made accommodations for us. The recent renovations are spot on and the location is fantastic.

The resort is quiet and low-key (which we love) and the unit is well-maintained. Trinda was wonderful and accommodating and even gifted us a bottle of wine and a rum cake! We will be back!

We stayed in an amazing property. It was well stocked with everything you would want from home. Property was convenient to everything we needed. The grounds were well kept and the staff was helpful too!

Had a great stay in Condo 17. Remodeled very nicely and was in a great location in Cayman. Close enough to walk to Camana Bay and many restaurants. Unit is steps away from the beach and had everything we needed. You won't be disappointed with this condo.

While the exterior of the complex appears dated, the interior & location more than compensate. Beautiful beach. Beautiful weather. Beautiful sunsets.
