I must begin by saying that we had a great stay at Erins cottage. We were 4 adultes, 4 children and 2 dogs, and although we had to use the pullout couch, it did not feel cramped at all. The screened in porch is where we spent so many evenings. The kitchen was very well stocked, with enough utensils and small appliances. The garbage situation did take a little time to comprehend, but once we understood what to do, it just took a little extra time to sort things. The internet however was very slow. It might be due to the fact that we had 3 teens trying to stream/browse content all at once along with us adults checking emails and whatnot. On our first morning, we noticed that the coffee machine did not function properly. After contacting Erin she replaced it extremely quickly... thanks Erin that was very appreciated. The beach is incredible and we did spend a good amount of time there with the kids and dogs. The cottage itself is just secluded enough to not hear the neighbours and enjoy the sounds of all the birds that come by to visit. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would definately come back.

This cottage has everything and more. The perfect location to Lakeside Beach and so close to Charlottetown. It is incredibly well equipped through out. The kitchen has every possible item that you would need to cook for a large crowd, including an incredible spice cupboard. You can also grill outside and cook lobsters in a huge stainless pot. The cottage is very quaint, very clean and comfortable. On cooler nights you can warm up to the gas fireplace or fire pit outside to grill smores. Highly recommend. We have rented here three times and have already booked for next year.

Very clean, kitchen well-equipped. Loved the deck on 3 sides. Satellite TV, HDMI, and internet great however would have appreciated TSN channels. Quiet, close proximity to beach.

We loved the time we spent at Erin's cottage! We were two families and it worked out perfectly for us. They had the two rooms downstairs with their two boys and we took the master bedroom upstairs with our infant son. Also, there was a powder room upstairs which was very practical. It's very nice and quiet and a great beach vacation cottage!

We absolutely loved this cottage. Everything you need is there. It went way beyond my expectations. Such a beautiful spot. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

We spent time at this beautiful serene " cottage". The décor is open and peaceful. As soon as I opened the door I smiled!! The sky is huge and the air is clean. The short walk to the beach was quiet and green and then once over the sand dune, it was breathtaking!!! I can not wait to return!!! Thank you Erin!!!!

What could be better than a beautifully appointed cottage, centrally located on large, private lot - minutes from one of the best beaches in PEI? One couldn't ask for more than Oceanbreeze has to offer. If all goes well, we will return again next year.

Our overall impression was just as the photos look and felt right at home. A bit Longer To get to the beach but Enjoyed the privacy. Would return for sure. Claude amatuzio and family

This was our 2nd stay here and we love everything that this cottage has to offer. It's close enough to the ocean to hear the crashing of the waves some mornings. Only a 20 min drive to Charlottetown if you crave the city. The cottage is supplied with everything you could think of so you can relax and enjoy what the island has to offer. Our family loves this place and would recommend it to anyone considering a vacation to PEI.

Our family of four just spent an idyllic week at this beautiful cottage. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy all that PEI has to offer. We spent from June 25, 2016 to July 2, 2016 at the cottage. From the moment we arrived, we were immediately at home. Erin has left detailed instructions to help you navigate all you to need to know and includes many suggestions to enhance your vacation. We loved the wonderful flower beds and planters which my children took great pleasure in watering. The hummingbirds and rabbits were very welcome visitors. The kitchen is fully equipped with all we needed to cook our meals (with many extra condiments and spices available to use). Our last night we had the perfect PEI dinner of mussels and local potatoes and my husband was able to cook the mussels outside saving the cottage from the smell of seafood. There is lots of space in the cottage both inside and out. The beds were all comfortable. My daughters throughly enjoyed sleeping in a bunk bed for the first time. There are games and movies to enjoy. Trouble is a new family favourite game to play and it was a fun to introduce the girls to the classic, National Velvet. Communication with Erin was excellent. We spent most of our days at the beach but there is so much else to do. Horseback riding would have been at the top of our list but the minimum age is 14. However, we were thrilled to spend our days at one of the best beaches I have ever been to. We were so lucky to have hot and sunny weather. If you are golfer than the location is perfect for you with Crowbush down the street. Highly recommend this cottage and we would absolutely stay again.

We just had a small family reunion at the cottage and it was perfect. Although, we only stayed a short while, all the little details helped us relax. Everything you could want is provided for and the most beautiful beach is a pleasant walk away. Erin left all the details we could need if we had any questions and she stayed in touch throughout to help us. We would definitely stay here again.

If you are looking for a well appointed cottage and a space in which to enjoy family and friends... Ocean Breezes is the place for you. A short drive to one of the most beautiful beaches in PEI, a swim in the ocean and a time to read your book under a beach umbrella... a wee bit of heaven on earth exists here. During a week of extreme heat, the air conditioner was a life-saver! When the winds receded, a fire in the pit made a place for sharing camp songs with the ukulele...wonderful memories for children and adults too. We stayed in the Lakeside Beach cottage from Saturday, September 12th to Saturday September 19th and had a great stay. The cottage itself is very well appointed and we didn't have any issues at all with needing something that wasn't there. It's incredibly comfy, very cozy, but still enough room that no one feels cramped or crowded. The area is quiet, and you are only a few short minutes drive away from a beautiful beach. The beach is never crowded and you can walk forever on it. While the cottage is located in a quiet, less populated area, it's still close enough to Charlottetown that you can be there within about a half an hour. You're pretty central to most things on the island. The Hands have two separate fire pit areas set up, lots and lots of seating around the outside of the cottage and with the screened in porch, you can get a breath of night air no matter the weather or mosquito situation. We had a great week staying here, and will definitely stay there again.

Everything you could ever imagine in a cottage rental and no matter what the weather the accommodation offered a place to relax.

This cottage was exactly as stated on the site and I'd say even nicer in person. It was perfect for our family holiday and having a high chair and playpen for us to use was an immense help, especially as we were flying in! The beach was never packed and we were able to use the bikes provided making it so simple to get there quickly! We were able to have bonfires at night and ate dinners in the screened in porch out of the rain and mosquitoes (there weren't that many anyways)! We also left our dog out in the screen porch area when we were gone out so it was perfect for him too! We really appreciated having the firewood there to use, a BBQ, games like bocce and beach chairs. The cottage itself was perfect for our family, but those extras are what made our stay that much more convenient, fun and relaxing. The welcome binder and other PEI info was also helpful. When booking and during our stay Erin was very easy to get in touch with, friendly, and accommodating! Thanks!!!

Your cottage is every bit as beautiful as the pictures you have displayed.We were a family of 10,5 adults and 5 children(5yrs and under) and we had plenty of space.You have a very well equipped cottage ,that looks after all needs.Opening the windows and letting that lovely PEI breeze blow through just relaxes you immediately.....nothing like it.The memories made in your cottage will last forever,especially for me(Nana)being there with my children and their families......collecting shells on Lakeside Beach or just playing in the waves ,it couldn't have been a better holiday.Day trips to Cavendish,North Rustico and many other beautiful little towns was pleasant but I'd have been happy just hanging out at the cottage.It is ,indeed,every thing your property description said it would be and more. I would HIGHLY recommend this rental property to anyone looking for a quiet get-away in a gorgeous location.(***** five stars doesn't seem enough).Thank-you for allowing me to make some wonderful memories with my family.

Loved the quiet lighthouse cottage in PEI. The pictures sent matched what we expected. The property was ready on arrivel. The short walk to the beach was fantastic and never very many people on it. Enjoyed the screened in porch to escape the bugs. Loved all your amenities.

Our family, including three teenagers and my mother, had a great stay at the Hand cottage. It was a fabulous location within walking distance of a fantastic North shore PEI beach and a stone's throw away from one of the best golf courses in eastern Canada. The cottage is a very open concept with ample room. In fact we hosted a lobster boil with some friends and comfortably sat 14 people in the eating area at two tables with no problem. The screened in area of the porch was another great dining location lit with candles and free of mosquitoes. The deck covers three sides of the cottage so there was several different seating areas to enjoy a cold drink in the sun on the deck as well. We loved that every little thing we needed was provided. Lots of dishes for serving and preparing meals as well as all the little things you needed like lobster tools, matches, food storage stuff, beach chairs, bbq and utensils, spices and condiments, you name it, it was there. It was clear that the Hand's use this cottage often themselves so what they needed to live conveniently was there for all to leverage. The cottage itself was very nicely decorated with a seawater blue, lighthouse theme. The front is windows right to the ceiling providing brightness in the day and stars at night. It is north facing so the sun doesn't overwhelm the cottage with heat. There is a very nice fireplace which we didn't have to use but it adds to the look and has a big screen TV over it for those who want to keep in touch with the outside world. One bedroom is tucked upstairs for a little adult privacy. One bedroom on the main level has bunk beds and lots of toys and games to keep a couple of children very happy. The other is a little more quaint and comfortable for the child who wants privacy and somewhere to read a book. Our family immediately felt at home and didn't want for anything in our week stay at the Hand home. We loved it, would rent it again if we go back to the island and definitely would recommend it to anyone, including the person reading this right now! Enjoy it, it was worth every penny! Rob and Angie
