This was a lovely home we stayed at over New Year’s weekend. It was updated, impeccably well decorated, and amazingly well stocked! One of the nicest VRBO’s we’ve ever stayed at. Communication with the Hosts was great; they responded quickly and took care of a very minor issue (trash can full). If you’re staying in Gunnison as a cheaper option to Crested Butte, the free bus from Gunnison to Mount Created Butte is less than a block away! The washer and dryer in the house was also very convenient.

The place was clean, well stocked, and very cozy. I would recommend if you are planning to stay in town.

The place was excellent and really well put together and stocked. The location is right across the street from the edge of Western State. I was there during Fall Break, so it was rather quiet. I'm not sure if it gets louder during "normal" class times. Gunnison and the neighborhood are rather quiet though, and Gunnison is about 30 mins away from Crested Butte. I mention this, because we did wish there more food options in Gunnison. You won't starve in Gunnison, but if staying a week and wanting nicer food, you'll likely be headed to Crested Butte for a few meals. The place itself though was better than advertised in my opinion. I really liked how it was put together. The wifi worked well, we were able to watch our Netflix account, the heat was fine, the dishes/utensils/cookware was well stocked, etc. I definitely recommend the place.

We came to visit our son at Western for family weekend. From our previous visit to Gunnison, we knew we wanted something else than the hotel scene around here can provide. This place was perfect! Walkable to campus and the shops and restaurants of Main Street. Beautifully upgraded and decorated little home. So clean and comfortable. We definitely hope to stay here again on our next visit to Gunnison.
