The property was above and beyond anything I could expect. Vilma as a host is like family treated me so well and always was helpful. She goes above and beyond to help you feel welcome and at home. The beach was private and was basically heaven, always available and a dream come true. I plan to come back next year and see my friends again 😁.

This place is fabulous. Vilma is a great host and Yanira was was so willing to meet our requests. The only thing I would suggest is to let guests know that there are a lot of steps to descend and climb. It's good exercise but not the thing for some guests. We love it and hope to come back. This property is breathtaking! Stunning views of the water from every step. Each bungalow felt private and secluded, almost like we had the place all to ourselves even when we had neighbors. It was so soothing to fall asleep and wake to the sound of the waves crashing. Each bungalow has its own terrace with comfy chairs and plenty of hammocks throughout the property. The sunsets were so beautiful and we were able to explore a bit and find a whole family of crabs. A fantastic place to completely unwind! The beach is semi private as there are only one or two other properties that can access it but for the majority of the stay, we had the beach to ourselves. Breakfast was amazing every morning with some of the best coffee I have ever had. Vilma and her staff went above and beyond with every detail. Helpful and funny! Even gave us recommendations for the best pupusas in El Tunco and helped us find our way to the closest supermarket. Can't wait to return to this wonderful location! Thanks to the entire team for making our new year vacation so special!

These are four beautiful bungalows right on the ocean. Very peaceful and awash with sound of the ocean. We had a wonderful stay. Vilma and Yanira are wonderful hosts and went the extra mile to make out stay comfortable. The rooms are comfortable and have a much needed AC and mini fridge. Kitchen constitutes of a portable stove outside the bungalow under a shed. The property is peaceful most of the time. However it seems there are guests on a day pass (not over night) who come to hang out on the beach and that does take away from the 'private beach' vibe. All in all had a wonderful time and would recommend it. For those who surf, Sunzal is about 1.5miles away which I walked back and forth every day for about two weeks. There are a couple of nice restaurants by the property, though not cheap I have to add.

Perfect location, very good service by Yani, poor accommodations. The bungalows had multiple leaks, the doors got stuck, poor illumination, the whole place needs to be maintained properly. I am not coming back to this place for sure. However, this place has a lot of potential!!

We loved this spot. You can’t be any closer to the beach, the sand a few feet from your sliding glass door. Vilma the host was incredible, so accommodating for anything extra we needed. Our room was super basic but all we needed and comfortable listening to the waves lull us to sleep each night, daily walks on the beach and dips steps from our door and mid day when it was hot just laying in bed in the AC still overlooking the ocean. I highly recommend and I will be back!!!

We stayed 3 nights in one of the bungalows in Xanadu. Vilma was an exceptional host and made the best authentic breakfasts that were always accompanied with fresh local fruit. Communication prior to our arrival and throughout our stay was great. Vilma always made us feel welcomed and was always accessible. The location of the bungalows was hands down the best selling feature. The beach was private, stunning and most times we had it all to ourselves. We highly recommend dining at Beto’s restaurant next door and also trying out the local brewery Cadejos a few restaurants down (about a 10 minute walk). The bungalows themselves could use some updating and minor repair. However the value is in the location, the beautiful black sandy ocean front beach and the stunning views. Thank you Vilma for being a wonderful host! We hope to return in the near future : )

Vilma was wonderful host 10 stars *. She had amazing breakfasts every morning!! She so accommodating always asking about allergies and preferences. The place is exactly as shown. We have the exact picture of our feet on the railing of our deck, over looking the ocean. Beautiful secluded beach. Most days we were the only ones on it. Just to let you know the sand gets extremely hot around mid day. Vilma had Any ( pronounced Anita) pick us up at the airport , she was also the best 10 stars *. She took us on a tour of San Salvador Volcano and then to a coffee farm. She then took us for lunch at one her her favorite spots The Volcano where we had the cultural food of pupusas. excellent!! too much to eat! Just a note if you don't speak spanish carry goggle translator ;) Vilma is english speaking. WE also got to see a surfer right on our beach a day when the waves were really rough. Great restaurant right next door Betos. Over all yes we will be back to see Vilma ;)

Excellent to forget about work, beach is amazing to deep into and walk around the private paradise.

We enjoyed this place very much: for its security and privacy. The beach was perfect for walking and swimming; no rocks to impede the walking. The best part of our stay was the Hostess, Vilma, She really made us feel at home, she was very welcoming and was very accesible if we needed anything. Definitely we will come back.

Wonderful simple bungalows with a great breakfadt, and Vilma was very helpful.

Vilma was a delight. Went way out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and also went way out of her way to arrange our Covid tests to return to the US. She was a joy!

My brother and I had an amazing time at Vilma's property. It's right on the ocean and has its own beach down below. The property has its own parking spaces and a bunch of hammocks, which was super relaxing. Just a heads up that the property is bigger than the listing indicates! There are three bungalows and one cottage. Also the wifi is fairly slow and a bit spotty down by the cottages. Good chance to unplug! Overall we had a great time and huge thanks to Vilma and Martin for their amazing hospitality!

Vilma is one of the sweetest and most helpful hosts I could have hoped for. She went above and beyond what any other host that Ive ever had to help make our trip enjoyable. She answered so many questions we had and when we needed something she was so quick to respond. Wish I had had more time there to just relax as I was there with 3 young college kids that kept me on the go all day. The view of the lightning strikes out in the ocean at night and the sound of the waves and rain on the roof will beremembered forever. Thank you

We had a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone! We had everything we needed whether it was homemade seafood for dinner or a short walk to a great restaurant. The views are really that good and Vilma was ready to help with whatever you needed.

This was an amazing location, with the only bad thing being we couldn’t stay longer. Vilma was the most hospitable host I’ve ever come across in all of my travels. The outdoor prep station makes it easy to clean your fresh catch right at your bungalow. The scratch breakfast is amazing every morning while watching the tide roll in from our private landing . The staff will cook for you for other meals for a fee., but there are several roadside Palapas with the freshest seafood and coldest Cervezas minutes away! This location is just a stones throw away from World class surf breaks like El Zonte, El Tunco and the incredible point break at El Sunzal. Cool down in the shaded infinity pool under the coconut palms. We are already planning our next visit and counting down the days!!!!!

Friendly staff, amazing breakfast, beautiful and safe area to stay. We absolutely loved our stay here and definitely recommend it to people who like to have a more private experience. The waves in this area are great for people who want to practice surfing and El Tunco beach is only about 20 minutes away. I recommend having your own transportation to get around or arranging an available driver during your stay. There is a restaurant "Beto's" within a walking distance, a great place for drinks and seafood with an amazing view. The area is very safe, the air conditioner works fine!
