We are longtime Montauk renters but never before in Ditch. It didn't disappoint. House was exactly as advertised; beautiful high end furnishings, modern yet comfortable details and clean spaces. It was a great weekend and we will definitely be back. Owner was easy going and available.

We had a wonderful time at Christopher’s lovely home in ditch plains. He was so flexible and communicative and it was such a breeze. The house is incredible and the location can’t be beat! We loved riding our bikes to ditch plains every day and being so close to the beach. We hope to be back soon!

I cannot say enough about our experience. We wanted to get away as a family (of five), something that was laid back and relaxed, but with lots to do when we wanted it. We live in a quite modern house and were looking for something with a similar vibe. Montauk is one of our favorite locations and we have stayed a week there a few times already. This location was located near "Ditch Beach," I believe it is the last beach on your way to Montauk point so it feels intimate, without large crowds or parking lots. You will see lots of surfers (it seems to be a kind of "surfer beach") of all ages. From kids that looked to be 2 or 3 years perched at the tip of their parent's board to people who seem to have been living the surfing life into old age. It takes maybe five minutes to walk or 2 minutes to drive to the beach from the property. We were pleasantly surprised several times. We brought our own bikes only to find that property actually already comes with access to four bikes. We brought beach chairs and then found that the storage space under the deck is stacked with chairs, some surf boards, a boogie board, umbrella, etc. The house's construction is remarkably solid and high quality, from windows and doors to the gas fireplace and three outdoor decks. There is a spacious office space at the very top half-floor from which you can work quietly. The entrance way and landscaping is the first thing you see. It is well maintained and creates a nice privacy barrier, with tall hedges separating the front lawn from the gravel parking area. Not that the street is busy at all. One of our favorite features was the outdoor shower, wrapped in wood, in which you can take a hot, strong shower under the Hampton's famously beautiful sky, toward sunset, after a day in the sand. The owner, Christopher, was really helpful and responsive. He lives nearby, built the house for his family, and raised his kids there so knows the area and provides some good "inside" tips as part of the house manual. We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay! It was a stunning property and location with walkable beach access, easy drive to the main strip of Montauk. Would certainly go back!

Beautiful, modern clean beach house. So many high end features like the heated toilets, towel warmers, and sonos speakers throughout whole house. Best location in montauk to access ditch plains beach. Will definitely be back!

This property is very well maintained and matches the description. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and gorgeous furnishings. Terrific location and quick access to the beach. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Had the chance for a change of scenery. This home was perfect in location, ease and comfort. The furnishing were both fun and warm. The location next to the preserve was an added treat while the Atlantic Ocean ebb and flow of waves both invigorated and calmed the soul. Christopher was in place to assist and answer any questions in a quick time frame! Loved our time in your home!

Lovely stay in the house. I loved the little touches like ambient heated floors and towel racks. So much light in the master and sun roof. It was a short walk to the beach which was quiet this time of year. Would definitely return.

The house was exactly as pictured! It was VERY clean and well stocked with household essentials. Upon check-in, the property manager emailed us a list of recommended sites and restaurants which was super helpful. The location was great, less than 10 minute drive to town where there was an abundance of restaurants. Ditch Plains beach is a short walk from the house and a fun place to watch surfers. Would recommend this house to family and friends if they decide to visit Montauk.

Okay, I was just looking through my VRBO emails and saw that I hadn't reviewed this house. We stayed here last summer and it was fabulous. Kitchen was well stocked and everything in the home was comfortable. Spectacular deck on which we enjoyed time together after a long day at the Ditch Plains beach. Fairly easy walk, great host and lovely property. Definitely recommend.

Overall experience was excellent and we look forward to booking again in the future. Chris was very responsive and helpful.

Everything about this house was perfect! Very clean and spacious with all of the comforts of home and just a short walk to a beautiful beach. The host was extremely nice and responsive. We couldn't have asked for me, and we hope to be back next year!

This house was the perfect getaway from the city! My friends & family so enjoyed cooking meals together in the beautiful kitchen, enjoying the sunshine on the spacious outdoor deck, and walking to the stunning beach! I would definitely stay at this property again. Michael, the host, is very responsive and made the rental process very easy. The property itself is gorgeous and secluded, but so close to the Ditch Plains beach. I can't wait to go back!

The house was very clean and well stocked! The layout of the house is excellent for a family or group. Generous deck with plenty of seating and a well appointed kitchen with everything you'd need for your stay! Wish it was warm enough to use the outdoor shower while we visited, but it looks lovely! Easy walk to the beach and the property manager was great! I would definitely stay again!

This is a well-designed, amazingly well appointed house. Everything in it is first class. Chris, the person who handled the transaction, was prompt and very responsive. Even though we were well ahead of the season, he acquired new bicycles for us to ride to the beach and around the neighborhood. We all loved our stay.

Beautiful home, clean and spacious, with an amazing location. Weather was cold during our visit, loved hanging by the fireplace. Side yard and basement were perfect for the kids to spread out and have their own space. Walked to the beach in the mornings. We hope to return soon!

The house was light filled with radiant floor heating throughout the home which was perfect for the chilly winter weather! We enjoyed our walls to then each even though not beach weather! The open kitchen was perfect for cooking and sitting around and eating. The host was very organized and responsive. Would definitely stay again!

Even before we booked, reaching out with questions, we were met with prompt, professional and kind responses. The house itself is gorgeous, with amazing and unique touches like an outdoor shower, heated towel bars and an electric fire place. The house and outdoor space is impeccably maintained, and the walk to the beach couldn’t be easier or nicer. We would 100% stay here again and recommend others to do so, as well!
