The first night we were there I walked into the kitchen at night time to get a snack and found cockroaches crawling all over the floor. I smashed at least 5 of them. Then we noticed smashed roaches on the floor by the rug in the main room that were there already when we arrived. We continued to see roaches here and there throughout our stay. We did contact the property manager who was always very responsive and they sent out an exterminator who arrived about 36 hours later Of course the roaches don’t instantly die so it continued to be a problem throughout our stay. We saw them on the floors, drawers, cabinets, and on the walls of the bathrooms.
There was also broken glass out on the deck. We picked most of it up ourselves but missed some and I got a sliver of glass in my toe.
The place had potential to be great but the roaches really ruined it for us. We didn’t spend that much money to live in a roach infested place for 5 days.
I requested a partial refund from the property manager who refused and told us they could have moved us to a different unit if we asked but we didn’t even know that was an option and it was never offered to us. If it wasn’t for the roaches it would have been a great stay but unfortunately that is how it went.

Had a great time at Galveston! Linda & MaryAlice are wonderful at responding to any questions you have and they keep their place clean and updated! AC works fabulous, something you love to feel after a full day at the beach! They very kindly leave a basket full of little things you don’t think of bringing to the beach like laundry & dishwasher pods (and lots more) :D!
The condo is a few steps farther to the beach than other condos at Pointe West beach club with a beautiful view!
Will definitely be coming back!

We will definitely book again. Very clean condo with well stocked kitchen. We saved so much money by cooking in. Having such a great space was amazing visiting our daughter, son in law and newest grandson. He loved the lazy river and kiddie pool!

My family and I came for a last minute trip to the beach and this condo was the perfect escape. Not only was the communication quick and seamless, but the condo is also exactly as listed. Fully stocked kitchen, welcome basket/extra supplies for the visit, and a quick walk from the condo to the beach access bridge. You will have great views from the patio and we never heard the neighbors.

The location of this condo is perfect! Just a short walk to the pool and easy access to the beach. The large balcony with beautiful view is an added bonus. I’d definitely stay here again.

It was the nicest condo we have stayed in at Pointe west so far. We loved the comfy living room furniture, and the options on the TV for our kids to watch shows.

This was such a fun place to stay. The condo was spacious and pristine with all the amenities we needed, huge balcony with a great view, comfy beds, and the elevator and parking were so convenient. We love the option of swimming in the pool overlooking the beach, and we really loved swimming in the pool at night. Make sure you check out the West End Marina for delicious brunch, lunch or dinner. :)

We had a great time! Condo is easy walking distance to the Beach Club (pool/beach), and a short golf cart ride to the “Adults Only” pool on the other side of the highway (there’s a great golf cart path that take you safely under the highway!). The Beach Club still doesn’t have their food and liquor licenses, which would’ve made things much easier, but the food trucks were a fine make-do. Pointe West is beautiful and well-maintained, and the condo was a great home base for our stay! (Rented our golf cart from K6- super easy!)

Looking forward to a little getaway but unfortunately the weather didn’t allow us to enjoy ourselves as it dropped to 50 degrees with strong winds. Besides that everything was great, location views, and vibes.

We had the best time! Condo was in a great locations, beach was clean and beautiful and the amenities were fantastic! The condo was very well stocked and clean! The view of the ocean every morning & evening was icing on the cake. Can't highly recommend this place enough! We will be back!

We've stayed at several condos in Pointe West, and this one was by far our favorite. It has a legit washer and dryer which makes a big difference when you need to wash towels and kids clothes. Balcony furniture was really nice. Host/whomever managed the property for us was responsive when we needed them.

This property looks even better in person than it does in the pictures. We were very comfortable there and we loved the beach(which was not crowded at all) and the infinity pool at the clubhouse. We would definitely recommend this property!

Pointe West is one of our favorite spots on the island. The condo is clean, decorated nicely and a great location to the beach. Parking is tough if you drive a truck but ample places to park nearby.
The condo was easy access and exit instructions were clear but most of all, simple. The balcony offers a evening view of the gulf where you can sit and just chill.

We had a great time! Location was perfect and the condo was very clean and pretty. The only issue was the elevator was out most of our stay which was a pain to walk up to the third floor in the heat. Other than that we had a great time!!

Fun weekend near Galveston
Great condo at a nice and fairly new property. If we decided to stay outside of Galveston again we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Nice property, Distance to beach not accurate.
This property and condo was very nice. Fully stocked condo in good shape. Great view of the ocean from a distance. Beds comfortable however fold out couch is more for kids not adults. The Reviews said steps from the ocean. It is many steps from the ocean. It takes 14 minutes to walk from front door to the ocean water. Half of that to the pool area. If you want ocean view from a distance and have no walking issues it is a great condo.

Beautiful condo
Upon our arrival, we were very disappointed that the “lazy river” was across the highway. We couldn’t believe how small it was & the elevator to the restrooms was broken. Day two, the main pool was broken so that was another disappointment. Once the pool was fixed, we enjoyed it.

Great unit and property!
We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay! The unit was very clean with modern decor and a wonderful view from the porch. I’d definitely recommend a wagon for carrying gear to/from the beach as well as bug spray (mosquitos were terrible, especially around the grill and elevator). The pool and on-site bar and restaurant were convenient and tasty. We will definitely be back!
