Very nice place - felt right at home! Clean, quiet and VERY well appointed - everything we could think of was available! Location was great for the price - very quiet neighborhood, walked to the beach/harbor, close to the farmer’s market and parks. Communication with owner was great. We will definitely request this cottage again next stay in Brookings!

Our Stay was so wonderful and just what we needed, we will absolutely look into booking with Nancy again! Everything was perfect, clean and any questions were already answered with detailed instructions everywhere! We did forget to complete our scavenger hunt before we left though! So we will be sure to do that next time!

Our all adult age family of four had an excellent stay. The property’s location was ideal for our needs. The property owners were very responsive when we had a small glitch checking in. The property was exactly as listed fitting my family’s needs almost perfectly. I highly recommend this property.

Loved this property. Clean, thoughtful decor, stocked with books, movies, games. Hosts provided local food recommendations and even a scavenger hunt prepared for guests. Would return!

The house was adorably decorated and so VERY clean! The master bed is unbelievably comfortable. The weather didn't permit rooftop time, but would be amazing in the warmer months. I'll look this one up again!

We stayed in this extremely clean, comfortable, and cozy home for two nights over the holiday. We stay in vacation homes pretty regularly and I would rate this as an excellent place to stay. These hosts have thought of everything! The way the bedrooms are laid out they are across the home from each other which is nice. Great water pressure and lots of hot water, nice towels. The back patio yard area is simply lovely and makes a perfect hangout. I look forward to going back this summer! Thank you so much.

Loved your beach home. House was clean, comfortable, well furnished with lots of natural light. We enjoyed the beautiful backyard and colorful flowers. Rooftop patio was a plus especially in the evenings. We walked to the harbor. wrote on chalk wall and ate at yummy restaurants. Of course the coast is beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing your special place. We'd like to return.

My sister's and I have a yearly retreat where we meet up and spend a week together. This was the PERFECT place and we couldn't be happier with our choice! The house was Very welcoming and all the available amenities left us wanting for Nothing. A First for us! From the comfortable living room seating arrangement, large dining table where we could play our cards and dice games, full kitchen filled with everything you'd need (including ice maker!) and the beds in Both bedrooms were quite comfy (!) to the Beautiful backyard garden patio area where you can sit and enjoy the flowers and all the birds that love to visit. And the rooftop patio balcony was a nice bonus with Wonderful views! The proximity to town and the beaches made it easy to get around and the available restaurants were plenty. Though we don't often visit the same area twice, we all agreed that we would Definitely like to come back and spend more time in this Wonderful home and town. 5 Star ALL the way!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at "R" Sounds of the Sea home in Brookings. It's in a beautiful location with magnificent views which can be enjoyed from the rooftop patio during the day. The house is also conveniently situated for day trips into the local area and even sightseeing trips up and down the coast. The rooms are beautifully decorated and make one feel very comfortable. The backyard patio is especially nice with comfy chairs, plants and scenery for relaxing and enjoying. The backyard decorations add a peaceful charm. The neighborhood is also very nice and quiet. Upon arrival, we were surprised by the lovely little decorations that the wonderful house keeper and property manager had left, and our host was always responsive and helpful if we had any queries. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We can definitely recommend, and in fact already have, and would return again!

There was nothing that we didn’t like about this property. From the rooftop deck to all of the accommodations that the host did for everyone who comes to visit. To the adorable cottage comfortable beds just an amazing property. And I would definitely come back here if I’m in Brookings again. Hosts were easy to work with and very accommodating.

We spent Thanksgiving at this house. It was a nice place to stay so we could cook our own Thanksgiving dinner and enjoy the coast. The décor was very nice and welcoming. The house was very clean and the fragrance wasn't overwhelming. All the appliances worked flawless and plenty of dishes in case you forgot that one little thing! This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath house in a very quiet, clean mobile park very close to the beach, shopping. You wont regret it!

My family and I had a wonderful time on our trip to Brookings, and Nancy's house is just perfect. By far the best stocked house I've ever stayed in, it had everything we could possibly need. The location is perfect, walking distance to the beach, easy access to shopping. The rooftop patio was our favorite place to be in the evenings. I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in Brookings.

We have stayed here several times. In the past, it was spotless. This time, it was clean enough but needed a little extra dusting. Also, I would not recommend this place to the 35% of the population who have health issues such as migraines and allergies with scents. The cabin is highly scented with plug in atomizers and multiple sachets. Also the front steps are a slips hazard when wet as they frequently are due to the ocean mist. There is a covered ramp in the back accessible through the garage but the garage is not available. I would suggest painting the steps with a non slip surface. All in all, we truly enjoyed being there except for all the scents.

Great place to stay for a few days. Close to many beaches, hiking trails, and good restaurants. The owner is easy to work with and gives good suggestions on activities in the local area.

A great place to relax and rewind in cool costal weather. A reprieve from inland heat wave in a place with all amenities provided.

This beautiful home was just what we wished for on the last 3 days of our vacation!! Only wished we would have stayed the whole 8 days here!! Everything you could need or want was located in this home! We loved it had a side by side refrigerator/freezer so we could package up and freeze our fish we caught going out of Brookings Fishing Charters for our ride home. The beach theme decor was cute as can be and the back yard a haven for birds which we watched going in & out of the many birdhouses. We enjoyed the roof top deck relaxing in the sun😎 The King bed was very comfortable! We have stayed at many VRBO and ABNB’s and this one is on the top!! We Love Brookings our home away from home every year to get away from the Redding heat in the summertime and we’ll surely be back again to this home!! I cannot express and give Thanks to the housekeeping crew at this home it was immaculate🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Immaculate, darling, well-appointed beach house. Great kitchen supplies , really lovely well- kept back garden and they even had binoculars which i never used but liked the fact they were there. Cute. Linen closet full of extra towels and bath mats. Washer and dryer works great. I wish the walk to beach was more do- able. And the guest bed was not as comfy - other than that it was perfection. Thank you

Wonderful!!

The house was beautiful, and being able to sleep and hear the ocean was amazing, sitting in the back garden with a fire with my wife was lovely. The location was great, with manageable travel time to local beaches and sights, and the owner's helped to get you started on your adventure. This whole process has been amazing. This is our first rental with VRBO, and the way they operate their cabin made the process pain free. Requiring a rental agreement and approval of the reservation meant that both us and then knew all the information and dates. Me and my wife have already talked about coming back sometime in the future.

We booked nearly a week where it rained almost the whole time. Couldn't have been in a more comfortable setting to ride it out. This place is so nice we hated to leave, just when the sun came out. Will be back!

We didn't want to leave this charming, nicely-appointed manufactured home a stone's throw from the beach in Brookings.

The house was wonderful. Everything you needed for your stay was there. Used the upper deck every day. Good directions for use of everything from tv to shower to washing machine. Would definitely stay again!

The cottage is small, but had everything we needed, and the rooftop deck was very nice! It was too cold to enjoy the backyard, but it looked very inviting as well.
