This place is top notch!!! Worth every penny!!! It has everything you’ll need for your stay. The beds/bedding are like sleeping on clouds. The amenities it is supplied with is over the top. It has the best view!!! A game room that has tons of old school/classic games. Several late nights of playing PAC-Man! Very easy walk to the beach. Very friendly neighbors. Can’t wait to book this house again!

The Whale Watcher was exactly as advertised. Alice, the Property Mamager was attentive and responsive. She was amazing. We'd go back for sure!

Wonderful, comfortable, and beautiful setting. We so enjoyed using the binoculars, bird watching, and watching the hummingbirds dance. Was a great location for doing just about whatever you would want. We were able to do all the cooking we wanted. The oven runs a little hot so you might want to adjust or watch your time closely!

We had a wonderful stay! Extremely clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable beds! View of the Pacific ocean was outstanding and we loved seeing the boats go out each morning. Home was well stocked.

This home is gorgeous inside and out! It was spotless and well stocked. The game room was a huge hit for everyone in our family ages 3-adult. The neighborhood was very quiet with friendly neighbors. The view is spectacular. The checkout process was the absolute easiest! We would definitely stay here again !

In the search of our summer vacation stay near the redwoods whale watcher stood out as a great option for my family. Let me tell you we were so happy with our choice. The home is beautiful and super clean. My wife said it was the best stocked vacation rental we had ever been in And trust me we have rented from VRBO for close to 20 years. That ocean view when you walk through the front door, just smack you in the face… just amazing. The location was perfect for the outings that we took daily to the redwoods and other beaches. Choose this home, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you, Alice for a lovely stay.

We stayed in Brookings at the Whale Watcher House as a part of our last few days during our 15 Day long road trip. It was the perfect end to an unforgettable vacation, the view from the home is stunning, and the home as well equipped. It was beautifully remodeled, and smelled clean. We would definitely stay again!

Our family of 4 absolutely loved staying here! My sister and I came with our parents to visit our brother and his family, who live in Crescent City. The house was perfect and we fell in love with the town of Brookings. It was a great home base for our excursions. We enjoyed hiking the redwoods, going to the beach, playing pickleball, and checking out the town’s Memorial Day events. The beds at the house were super comfortable with fantastic bedding. The layout was great and we loved relaxing and watching the sunset every night from our deck. The games and Pac-Man machine were a nice little bonus. Overall we had such a fun time and can’t wait to come back!

Outstanding view and a wonderful place to stay. There was an issue with the property we were told about upon arrival. We were compensated for our trouble. Other than that, this was a perfect getaway!

The house was in an amazing location, beautiful views and quiet neighborhood. Even though it rained a lot of our stay, the house was so cozy and had amazing views to just sit and enjoy the waves! We will definitely stay again!

Really nice time staying with my wife, daughter and in-laws. House is gorgeous, view can't be beat and house had everything we needed.
Wasn't a huge fan of the hidden fees (Covid fee and non-refundable insurance fee), but everything else was great, would definitely stay again!

This is a beautiful and well appointed property and was perfect for my partner and our teens. The neighborhood is quiet and has beautiful gardens to admire. The kitchen had everything we needed, including some seasonings. The host is very responsive. Since I don’t rent often I didn’t understand part of the leasing process but she patiently helped me straighten it out. It’s a paved 5 minute walk to the beach.

The house was super clean and comfortable. It was just the two of us, but would be great for a family or 3 couples. Nice expansive ocean view from the house and decks. No direct beach access, but a short walk or quick drive band you are at the harbor.

The location and view are great. The house has a great flow and layout. It’s clean, comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen are very well stocked. We felt at home immediately. In fact, I was so comfy, I went online and ordered the same pillows for my own house. The one thing we wanted was an umbrella or afternoon shade in the backyard, but everything was as advertised in the listing. I would stay again.

This house in Brookings was one of the best appointed houses I have booked through VRBO. It had everything we needed - great appliances and cookware, plenty of towels, paper products, etc. The view can't be beat and it is a short walk to the beach. The house looks newly remodeled or very well taken care of. I had to request the code for the front door (it didn't come automatically), but the response was provided in less than 5 minutes which was appreciated. I highly recommend this location!

The first thing you will notice about this property is the amazing view! The high powered binoculars were so fun to use to watch things on the beach and out on the water.
The home was clean, organized, and very inviting. We stayed for 5 nights and felt at home the whole time. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. There are many restaurants and stores close by.
We would absolutely stay at this property again. Thank you Alice for prompt communication and the accuracy of the listing.

We had a wonderful time at this home. The views of the ocean are perfect and the home was great too. Property was clean, beds and furniture were comfortable, communication with property manager was prompt. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Overall the property, it’s views and it’s location overlooking the ocean while being so near the redwoods and all to do In Brookingswas exactly what my family of 5 were hoping for.

The house was amazingly clean with a wonderful view. Included games and binoculars to watch the wildlife on the beach. All the light switches were labeled which was honestly amazing because we didn’t have to try and figure out what works which. The grass and back patio were enjoyable for all ages that stayed (teens-60s).
