The property was, beautiful! It was clean and looks exactly like the pictures. Sara, is very attentive and pleasant. I would definitely stay here again and also recommend this property.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this property. The space inside the home was laid out well for everyone to have privacy and easily gather together. The home had a lot of indoor and outdoor activities to entertain the younger kids. The backyard area and pool were amazing and well maintained. The kitchen had all items you might need and this is one of the best stocked homes I’ve stayed at. The home is definitely a bit out of town, but has a ton of amenities on site.

I would highly recommend this house. Sarah is a great manager. The checking in process was very simple and she checked on us during our visit. The check out was process was very good too. They house is well stocked (paper products, garage bags, dishwasher soap). We have been using Vrbo for years. This is one of the best homes.

We hosted our family reunion at this wonderful property. Ages ranged from 7 months to 57 years old. EVERYONE had a fun and found something to do right at the house….from swimming to bocce ball, this property has it all.

Great property but a little far out from anything

We had a group of 8 adults stay and there was room for more! Beautiful clean large house and yard, it was too chilly to use the pool but a few tried out the heated spa instead. We took advantage of the games inside and the large living room in the cool evenings. We did get in some time on the rooftop deck and enjoyed the great view. The place is as great as the pictures look and Sarah at Modern Retreats was wonderful to communicate with. The house has everything you need to enjoy your vacation!

This was a great property out of the hustle and bustle of Scottsdale but still close enough for easy access to shops and restaurants. The location was quiet and private and the home has everything you need to enjoy your stay. We highly recommend this property.

We are a group of 8 family members, including 2 couples, a grandpa and 3 teens who stayed here for a week in July. The pictures of the house don’t come close to doing it justice! The kitchen was 5-star, and the house was extremely comfortable for all of us. The outdoor living space was similarly incredible, with an immaculately clean pool (tough to come by) and well-functioning grill, hot tub and even an outdoor tv! We were pretty much living the dream! However, lots of houses are beautiful, so what really stood out was the attention to detail and customer service. We have stayed in a lot of homes over the years, and this was by far the most well-appointed. This house had everything we needed, from kitchen condiments and paper goods to rolled up beach towels clean and ready to use. Sarah is amazing - every question was addressed virtually immediately, with great suggestions and tips for our stay. Cannot recommend Sarah/her team and this house enough!! Cannot wait to spend another trip at one of her properties!

I’m not one to write views, but felt this house was deserving of it! We had 10 family members staying at this property (adults 30’s to 80’s and two children under 2) and all had a great time! The location was perfect with beautiful views and hiking just minutes away. Also, felt like it was close enough to run to the grocery store, Old Town Scottsdale, etc. The house was very spacious with plenty of space for everyone and was well maintained. We really enjoyed all the games that were available, especially table tennis and bocce ball! Definitely would highly recommend this property!

Beautiful views of the mountains with everything and anything you’d want to stay busy and have fun! Sarah was helpful and informative. She was on top of it! Fun home!!

We stayed at this house for a week in mid-March for spring break. We had two families with 5 kids (ages 5-10). The house was perfect for entertaining everyone. The kids loved the heated pool, putting green, cornhole game, pool table, ping pong table, and shuffleboard (more chalk needed). We weren't able to play basketball because the balls were flat and wouldn't hold air. There were lots of water toys (water guns, rafts, balls). It was a kid's dream!! The adults enjoyed grilling, hanging in the hot tub and watching march madness on the patio TV. The house had plenty of space to accommodate the 9 of us and we didn't even use the detached casista. Both families felt like we could spread out and not be on top of one another. The kids loved the bunk room. Although, I was a little nervous about the lack of railings on the 2 top bunks (mattresses were flush with the edge of the railings). The house is 10-15 minutes from the closest restaurants (just a few options) and farther from the grocery store. We mostly cooked at home (whole foods pickup on the way to the house), but enjoyed lunch at the Four Seasons (wonderful! great kids menu) and ate in town in Old Towne Scottsdale on the first day. We planned to cook at home, so this worked great for us. The kitchen was well stocked and even had some leftover food items. We hiked every am and took a trip to Bartlett lake and rented a speed boat. We loved how the house was off the beaten path and had so many close hiking options. If you are planning to spend most of your time in Phoenix or Scottsdale, this house is probably not the best option. It's great for families or groups who want to be removed from the main tourist spots and enjoy nature and relax. We would definitely stay here again!! The manager was very responsive.

Yes the house is as beautiful as it looks! It was immaculate. But the level of care was seen right at booking when Sarah reached out to me. I promise that you will never find a more attentive and caring host for a property. I didn't have a single worry for my entire stay and neither did anyone in my group. The beds were comfortable, house was beautiful, and the location was peaceful and still close to everything. We are planning on staying here again next year!

Before giving a glowing recommendation for the property, I have to give one to the host, Sarah. From the moment I first considered this as a rental for our group of five couples, she responded promptly, helpfully and truthfully. She is the absolute finest host I've ever encountered in many years of rentals. Thank you Sarah! The property is outstanding. The photos don't even do it justice. Our group of five couples ages 50-64 had a blast with all the games available, especially the pool table, shuffleboard, corn hole and the putting green. We loved the pool and spa, all the outdoor furniture and the fire pit. Inside, the kitchen had everything you could need to get started including spices, coffee and condiments. The bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces were wonderful. The place is very roomy, even for 10 adults.We are couples that like to eat out a lot, but after long days of golf and the Waste Management Open, we actually cooked in every day but one. THAT'S how nice the place is. This really is an oasis in the sun, and Sarah makes it that much better. I highly recommend!

This is a fantastic property on the edge of town, very quiet peaceful neighborhood. All the bedrooms were a good distance apart in the house to give everyone a bit of privacy especially the Casita w separate entrance. Master had the most amazing shower in master bath w best rainfall shower head I've experienced. Spa, pool, putting green, pool table, and ping pong kept everyone entertained at the house. Immaculately clean which is most important quality I appreciate in a VRBO. Sarah our host was AWESOME, thank you Sarah, she stayed in contact via text before/during our stay always asking what else we needed. Best experience ever at a VRBO.

This house was perfect for seven book club friends to gather. We spent the mornings hiking one of the numerous nearby trails, the afternoons were spent enjoying the pool, patio, and backyard activities. The kitchen and dining area was perfectly appointed for our happy hours, and dinners. I would highly recommend this property. The homeowner was so accommodating and was very responsive to any communications.

If you're looking for the perfect house to rent, look no further than this one. This house has all the amenities one could ask for. A plus is Sarah Clark, our host. Sarah contacted me several times before our trip and always asked if there was anything she could help us with before our trip. While at the home Sarah texted me a few times, once again, checking on our needs if any and genuinely concerned about us having a great time. I've rented many VRBO'S in the past but this one and Sarah, exceeded all expectations. This home will be our go to in Scottsdale on all future golf trips. The pictures of the home are spot one. Loved everything about this gorgeous home. Surrounded by horse ranches and wonderful hiking trails. This home is complete with all you need for a week of fun & relaxation. The pool and hot tub are amazing and the roof top views are stunning for coffee and sunrises. Our family gives this house 10 stars. Sarah is a fabulous property mgr. This house is lovely and the yard and pool are spectacular. Location is quite a bit away from most things, although perfect if you want peace and quiet. The property manager, Sarah, is terrific - super responsive, accommodating and genuinely concerned that your stay is perfect.

Excellent accommodations for a family Thanksgiving. We parents, kids, and grandparents for a week and loved every minute of it. We chose the house because of its close proximity to beautiful hiking trails in the neighboring preserve, but also loved playing bocci, swimming, and relaxing in the hot tub. We held many family tournaments of putting, pool, shuffleboard, and ping pong. We also brought a portable pickleball net and played in the front driveway which was spacious. The house has beautiful views, is well-appointed, and has nice community spaces as well as privacy for a large group to get private time. (It's one of the few houses that is bigger and nicer than it looks on the website.) Sarah is one of the nicest, most responsive, easiest-to-work-with hosts we've ever encountered. We loved our stay and will be back.

The pictures on the website describe this property perfectly. If you have an active family, you will love this house. Basketball, table tennis, billiards, table shuffle board, mini golf.....and on. It has it all! Sarah the agent was there for any little issue and always accessible. I highly recommend this property!

This house was the perfect backdrop for our annual Girl Friends Getaway. Six of us got together for 4 days and couldn't stop raving about the house and the host!! Both are top notch. The host responds immediately to every text and makes sure the house has what you need. The home is gorgeous, spacious and the outdoor space is a dream. We had the best time hanging out watching our alma mater on football Saturday on the outdoor tv, swimming in the pool, relaxing in the hot tub, having drinks around the fire pit and eating dinner on the patio. There are great hiking trails within minutes of the property and great restaurants, groceries and places for happy hour are within a 10-20 drive. A house meant to be enjoyed and perfect to bring a group of friends or family together.
