Nothing really !!!!

The place could have been okay but because our car broke down on their drive they just made it uncomfortable for us. They insisted we moved it off their property, saying if we didn’t they would. They gave us the feeling we wish we had never come there. So we had to rearrange with our insurers for breakdown help to come sooner, They said we had an attitude which I swear we didn’t that made them want to give up and sell their business. They refused us any money back, we lost £575, we had to find somewhere else to stay. If it wasn’t that we had a wedding we would quite happily have gone home with the breakdown truck that came for our car! However, when the breakdown truck did remove our car Dawn’s husband asked if we were staying, I said we’ve been asked to leave by your wife !!! He could see I was packing my suitcase too… he seemed annoyed with my statement and huffed off out of our room and neither of them spoke to us again!!! I’ve never ever had treatment like it at any hotel, B&B anywhere in the world in my many years of travel!

Dawn and Paul are lovely! They both were very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Our room was immaculately clean, Haven Lodge was very comfortable to stay in. Haven Lodge is in an ideal location with many places in Newquay being in walking distance. We hope to be returning soon. 🙂

From the minute we arrived, we could see the attention to detail and the perfect decor throughout the lodge. Our room was stunning and tastefully decorated and fully equipped. We wanted for nothing. Dawn was the perfect host and a lovely lady. We will definitely be returning.

Couldn't ask for a more friendly host . Nothing was too much trouble and the little details just made our stay perfect

Very clean and modern - spacious with 3 individual rooms and a shared dining area for breakfast which was superb. Our bedroom had a very comfortable bed and the chairs were ideal for relaxing and watching television. Complimentary soft drinks are in the room along with tea and coffee. Bathroom is the same high quality. Dawn is lovely and very helpful and nothing is a problem. Private off road parking is a bonus. This is a very special place to have a relaxing time away. Will definitely go again.

the property is modern and homely, and certainly maintains a high level of cleanliness.

basically everything .. very nice modern house, extremely clean and very well maintained. quality of food and coffee served at breakfast was top quality and abundant in volume..private parking is available.

nothing..little bit far away from city center but if you have a car or enjoy walking then it is not a problem at all.

exceptionally clean , wonderfully decorated, warm friendly welcome. absolutely everything you need for comfort. lovely breakfast and good location.
