We came to enjoy graduation weekend with all of our extended family! It was great

Cabin was very cozy and comfortable. Lovely, private setting. Met all our needs. In awe how close it was to all our activities. We watched the weather to make sure it would be fine but if any inclement weather is in your plans, I would suggest AWD to get to the house location.

My family and I rented this cabin for two nights. We greatly appreciated the cleanliness of all rooms and common areas. The cabin was well stocked with everything you could think of. I would highly recommend to anyone interesting in staying in the area. Great experience and would come back! Thanks for the stay.

My family of 7 all greatly enjoyed our stay so much that we plan on visiting again! The home is very spacious, warm and welcoming. We felt right at home.

Great stay! Clean roomy and overall great stay . Road in was just as described… but worth it. Pleanty of room for our group of 10. Only small thing I didn’t think to ask about coffee maker and brought wrong kind . No biggy since shopping is right up the road .

We enjoyed your home. Appreciated the gates at the stairways. Also our little one enjoyed the toys and puzzles. Thanks for a great place to come back to at the end of our activities each day.

We stayed at the Alpine Escape the weekend of our daughter's wedding in Boone. It was a beautiful and very clean home, spacious with comfortable beds and plenty of bathrooms. We weren't there to enjoy much around the property due to the wedding, but we planned to return soon and will plan to stay there whenever we are in Boone. Beautiful property!

Had a wonderful time and made precious family memories. This Cabin was very clean and nice. Definitely was in the woods which gave a peaceful feeling. The road to it is narrow and steep but after driving to it for the first time we all agreed it was well worth it. Maureen was very helpful with any questions that I had prior to our visit. The location was perfect for going to Blowing Rock or Boone. Thank you for sharing your mountain retreat.

Nestled within the woods and mountains, it was cooler and lower humidity for NC July than I had imagined. Freed the whole family to explore the wonders of the area - waterfalls, trail hikes, tennis and golf, charming towns and vistas. Plenty of space for seven folk.

The place was wonderful and easily accommodated our large group.

Our Family really enjoyed the cabin.Very spacious, yet cozy.The driveway was not as Bad as I feared.No complaints and would go back again.

Maureen’s home was lovely! Welcoming is a understatement as the beautiful home puts you in the mood for fall in the mountains. It had everything we needed to Cook for a group of 10. It was well stocked with towels, and bed were already made! Beds were quality and comfy!

This home was clean, modern, amazingly equipped & kids friendly as if it was prepped for a daycare! Our children & grandchildren had a fabulous time, didn’t want to leave, and wanted to know when we could return. Yes, the road was steep & would be tricky on snow & ice, but that setting- like you are living in the tree tops, was worth driving a little slowly & carefully. We are already looking forward to another visit!

We had a very pleasant experience renting this property. The cabin was lovely and had plenty of room to accommodate our family. We liked the fact that it was very close to town. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at this cabin! It was spacious and a great place to accommodate lots of chats and hang out time. The porch is great for coffee drinking, and the couches are great for late night chats. I grew up in Boone, so I’m familiar with driving in mountain roads, but the road down to the driveway is no joke. Beds and all amenities were so comfortable and we had a relaxing stay!

The property was very much like we expected.. Beautiful location nestled in the woods. Our host Maureen was very prompt to answer any questions we had. Didn't have to contact her at all once there. Kitchen was a little small for group of 10 although the table seated exactly 10 which was great!. All activities were relatively close by, and we enjoyed the scenery while driving. We had planned on having 12 members of our family join us, but since only had 10 there was plenty of room for everyone. 12 might have been a little crowded. We had the master bedroom and bath which was wonderful, and having the half bath off of the family room was very convenient. Everyone agreed that it was a wonderful trip.

We had four 70+ couples getting together for a sibling reunion. We picked this place because of the location, because it looked nice and because it met our requirement of 4 bedrooms with at least queen size beds. Everyone was very pleased with the property.

One family would have used the basement with separate bath but decided that the view from the second floor was worth sharing the bath. It helped that there is a half bath on the main floor. The fireplace was cozy and there was plenty of wood to keep the fire going during all the football games. After Thanksgiving, we went to a Christmas tree farm to get a Fraser fir to bring home and the kids got to pet horses, goats, and pigs

This was the perfect place for our family to stay. It was very clean, close to town and had a beautiful view.

This was a fabulous time with my family. Nice a quite with the beautiful fall colors. There was something for everyone at the cabin. We will be back next summer.

This was an excellent property!! The road take some careful navigating so it's best to bring groceries with you and just stay there, but it was quite easy and close to restaurants and stores!! Love how toddler friendly the place is, I really appreciate the gates at each staircase!!! The porches are amazing and the beds are pretty comfy. The main floor could have used a deep clean so bring slippers, but overall the place was QUITE EXCELLENT and the host was very helpful. Ole ty of towels and extra blankets if needed and all the basics in the kitchen. 👍
