The unit was exactly as advertised. Spacious, new appliances, well stocked. Very nice view from balcony and great location for town and the airport. Beach right out the door is great for wading and we used the kayak and walked to Jolly Hall beach every day for excercise but really beach out front is just as nice. I would recommend and would go again.

We loved it!!! Splash restaurant was definitely our go to spot for food and drinks. Our favorites were a day boating trip to the swimming pigs and iguanas and snorkeling with Robert Island Adventures. We also loved turtle beach nearby where we got to see and pet some turtles. Our other favorite beach was Tropic of Cancer. Chat’n Chill at Stocking Island was also a great experience and kids got to pet the stingray’s there. We enjoyed all the amenities that this place had to offer! It was perfect 👌

Second time staying at Sharon’s unit. We love the proximity to the water and all of the beach and water toys provided. Hideaways is centrally located and close to grocery stores and dining. We rented a boat from Minn’s this trip and loved the freedom of exploring Exuma on our own schedule. We spent 7 hours on the boat and loved snorkeling reefs, swimming with shark, stingray, turtles and tons of beautiful fish. Docked at St Francis Resort and Marina and had a great meal at The Snappy Turtle. A little further into the Marina there is a great place to snorkel by an underwater cave. We saw a Lemon shark lying outside the cave enjoying the cold water rushing out. Another day we took the Peace & Plenty ferry over to their beach club and really enjoyed our time there too. Visiting Jolly Hall is always a highlight of our time at Hideaways and snorkeling the rocks and small islands right out the front door is a must. This unit is perfect!

Location is awesome. Unit is fabulous, well supplied. Beach towels, chairs, paddle boards, snorkel gear all there. Everything was great!

Description is accurate, place is clean and comfortable. Location is awesome and Air condition works great! The provided portable beach chairs, cooler, towels, etc allowed us to have the best set up when traveling to different beaches all over the island. Sharon was an excellent communicator and worked with us on a couple of requests, giving us a flawless experience! Highly recommend!

The condo was spacious and had everything you needed. Clean and comfortable. The two paddle boards and beach chairs were a huge plus. Kitchen was well stocked with enough pots pans cups etc as if it were your own home. Owner was super responsive. Jannetta and Wade were so nice. Felt like family.

The house was perfect for our family of 4. The location is great and easy to find. Sharon was very helpful and easy to contact. Jolly Hall beach was our favorite beach on the island and is only a 5 minute walk from the house. The beach setup is such that no matter where the wind is blowing from the beach in front of the house or Jolly Hall will be perfectly still. We made great use of the beach supplies - especially the paddle boards. The house was well stocked with dishwasher and laundry detergent. The fridge was very cold and the water from the filter tasted excellent - no need to buy bottled water. We rented a car and drove to town often for groceries and to other beaches. Hoopers Bay consistently had sea turtles to swim with and is only a few minutes drive away. Exuma point beach is fun because it’s so shallow over a very large area and is about 30 minutes away. We wolves our stay and would rent this house again in the future.

This was our second stay at the property and found it a great place to stay in paradise. The owner provided great info regarding the house, area activities and island. One of the amenities we really like is the house is full of beach toys, chairs, and kitchen accessories. The house was clean and well stock with beach towels and linen. The owner was attentive and very responsive to needs. I will not hesitate to rebook for 2024!

I can’t tell you how much we enjoyed our stay in Exuma. The condo was the best prepared and outfitted Vrbo ever! The water and beach equipment were the best and everything, and then some, that you could need for your stay was stocked! Janetta was kind, accessible, and highly proficient. Everyone at the resort was kind and professional. I can’t begin to tell anyone and everyone enough good things. Every aspect of the condo and how it is outfitted demonstrates a host that has endeavored to account for every need and comfort of their guests. Many, many thanks!

We loved Sharon's place! It's literally steps from the beach. Everyone was so friendly and Sharon was very informative about the area and what to do. This is a multi level unit with bedrooms on the lower floor and kitchen/living area upstairs. She has a ton of floats and other beach gear including paddle boards. I can not say enough about the property manager Wade and Janetta! They were so helpful and friendly.

My husband and I had a spectacular stay in this unit. We have stayed in other units at Hideaways and enjoyed the extra space in this unit. Everything was clean, well equipped and beds were very comfortable. Having the paddle boards in the unit was a very nice addition. You don’t have to worry about availability or the inconvenience of checking them out through the property, just grab and go. We really enjoyed exploring the waters on them. The proximity to the ocean is the best and there are several showers located just as you leave the beach to rinse off. We have snorkeled many places around the world and love the coral and variety of sea life just steps away in Elizabeth Harbor. Our last day we swam with a turtle, small stingray and largest puffer fish that we’ve ever seen. Hideaways is very centrally located and you’ll find everything you need within a few minutes. Splash is a great place to grab a burger, but Shirley’s has some of the best food on the island and you can walk there too. Sharon was a great host and Wade was always available whenever we had any questions.

The property was super clean and spacious. It was perfect. Everything we could want was provided for us. The location was superb both for Splash restaurant at Hideaways and a short walk to Jolly Hall beach. We would not hesitate to stay there again and the owner was more than helpful at all times. Fabulous.

A group of us went to Exuma to celebrate a friend’s retirement. The villa was perfect!! Clean, well stocked with beach gear and the location was great with a gorgeous view. Sharon was wonderful to work with. We will definitely be back!!

This is a great house with all the amenities that you could ever want. Plenty of beach toys and chairs to enjoy while outside and away at other beaches. The one beach is right outside your door! The place was clean and neat with a full kitchen and mini office area if needed. Thanks to the owner who provided great information and suggestions about the area. She was prompt to respond to any questions before our arrival. Would definitely stay at this location again.

The place is huge, plenty of space for up to five people. The description of the property is very accurate. Don't worry about not being able to use the pool or other small amenities at Hideaways. Who cares about a pool when the beach is 50 feet from your door. Plenty of beach chairs, towels paddles boards etc. in the condo. A lot of small useful items like the two drapes on the patio to block out the morning sun-none of the other units have this feature. A book with very useful information about the island, including directions to some of the popular beaches and snorkeling spots. Trust me you will need the information, in either case the owner clearly thought out and provided a lot of useful information and features in this condo. Really anything you could possible need is included in the unit, full size washer and dryer etc. The on site restaurant/bar Splash is great, short walk, like under a minute. Make sure you walk to the left of the beach in front of the complex, keep going cross a small private road and you will come across a beach called Jolly Hall, the water is calm and beautiful, better than the beach in front of the complex-the owner provide that useful tip. Overall a great place to stay with plenty of space. You won't regret it!

The place is located inside a wonderful resort with and restaurant that makes tasty conch chowder and a offers a full menu. The only thing better would be if the guests had access to the amenities of the resort like the pool, kayaks and paddle boats. But the price reflects a discount compared to other like units and we managed fine without these items. We rented a car and went to numerous other beaches on the island, but didn’t bother to swim with the pigs. But I snorkeled at Stocking Island and ate at Chat & Chill. I saw the local turtle while snorkeling in front of the condo and took a short ride to Turtle Beach ( maybe the best places anywhere to see and swim with turtles) . Yes we would return !
