There's nothing I could say that would do this place enough justice. It's perfectly located directly in front of the water, very calm...beautiful and serene. The place itself is beyond clean, full air conditoned, the beds are super comfortable, bathrooms are awesome (one for each bedroom), kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook (except groceries of course). For groceries, I would recommend Exuma Market and for fresh meats, I would recommend "prime island meats". If you dont feel like cooking, there's a restaurant on site but I would also recommend "Shirley's" which is about 2 mins drive down the road. If you're adventurous like we are, rent a boat from Minns water sports and explore the islands and beaches nearby - see the stingrays at chat n chill and the giant starfish at stocking island. The communication was seamless with Mike and Kaitlyn + they checked in periodically to ensure things are going well. They also had people on site to assist should there be any issues but we didnt have a need for that while we were there. Do yourself a favor, don't think about it, just do it. You won't regret your stay.

Our stay at Mike and Karilynn’s place in Exuma at the Hideaways was superb! The cottage was very cute and in a fantastic location to enjoy the beautiful waters off the coast of Exuma! Our host, Mike, was very communicative and available for questions we had prior to our trip. He made the check-in process an easy experience and shared tips about the island. If we’re ever on Exuma again, we would return to Exuma Sol!

Talk about a room with a view! Step right outside the front door and VOILA - the absolute description of "tropical paradise"! It is, seriously, the best location possible! We are SO happy that we found this amazing property right on the beach! Mike & Karilynn are outstanding hosts and helped us so much on a last minute "annual honeymoon" getaway. Such a perfect place for an anniversary, honeymoon, or to just celebrate life! Everything you could possibly need is at the cottage. We overpacked - LOL. The property is so comfortable, spacious, and well appointed. The location can't be beat - restaurant/bar on site, free shuttle (short ride to Georgetown), pool, beach, and, of course, the view. An outstanding support staff of Ms. Janetta & Wade are available, if needed, and the staff at Hideaways & Splash are super friendly and helpful. Thank you, Mike & Karilynn, for allowing us to enjoy your gorgeous cottage! We would love to visit again!

From our initial booking of Exuma Sol to the moment we checked out Mike and Karilynn were responsive and helpful to any questions we had and checked in everything was going well during our stay. This was our first time on Exuma and the location and property made our stay perfect, the cottage is clean and very comfortable with everything you need during your stay. The beach chairs, umbrella, towels and cooler bags were much appreciated for days on the beach and the stunning Jolly Hall beach is just a few minutes walk away. We enjoyed waking each day and having morning coffee on the deck and watching the world go by and left totally relaxed, thank you again Mike and Karilynn

Not only a beautiful location but conveniently close to groceries and restaurants. The place was clean, tidy, not cluttered. Beds were comfortable, never had trouble falling asleep. Loved the beach accessories which made our days at Jolly Hall beach more enjoyable. Jolly Hall is basically around the corner, beautiful stretch of beach and most days, very few people. Communication with Michael was easy and he always promptly replied. Definitely planning on staying at this location again.

Mike and Karilynn's property was perfect for our family of 4. From the stunning view of the cove immediately outside our doors, to the wonderful amenities that were included, we would love to come and stay again! Mike and Karilynn truly thought of the smallest details with regard to the amenities. They provided so many extras like backpack coolers, waterproof cell phone cases, beach towels, sunscreen, various types of bug repellant including candles, laundry detergent, and more. We were truly all set with everything we might need! What probably impressed us the most was the thorough and extremely responsive way that the hosts communicated with us. We could tell they truly cared about us as their guests and wanted us to maximize our stay. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate with us at all, and literally all of our excursions were cancelled. Not only did Mike and Karilynn sympathize and try to assist with other recommendations of activities, but they went WAY above and beyond and provided us with a gift certificate to Splash, the local restaurant on site. We had an awful flight delay on the front end of the trip, which cost us our entire first day of vacation, so Mike and Karilynn were willing to work with us to accommodate us for another night upon departure if needed. I cannot say enough positive things about our hosts!

Mike and Karilynn were quick to respond to any messages before and during our stay. Their place exceeded expectations and was perfect in every way. We loved the central location where we could easily drive to either end of the island to explore. Hideaways staff were super friendly and helpful and it was a bonus to be able to use the kayaks, paddle boards, etc. We also liked that Splash was open long hours and ate there twice, both times delicious food. We didn’t even use all of the items in our place, like the umbrella or beach chairs but nice to know they were there. Plenty of towels and linens, etc. We enjoyed sitting in our lounge chairs a few evenings. We can’t wait to come back someday!

Exuma Sol was everything as listed and AMAZING! Communication could not have been any better, Mike answered all questions within minutes and the property management team was beyond helpful. This was a trip for an anniversary and also honeymoon! This by far was the nicest place, location, and hospitality that we have ever had on a vacation! We will definitely be back! We enjoyed our stay here. The home is so well-equipped in terms of supplies for a day at the beach. Chairs, umbrellas, cooler, pool noodles, all were appreciated. It’s a great central spot for day trips to the north and south of Exuma. Convenient to have a restaurants on site also

I booked this Exuma Sol for my husband and our 2 kids for half of our 2 stay on the island. Janetta was there to greet us with a smile and Mike was very communicative throughout the stay; I can see why they’re so highly rated. During our first week we had a car a toured the island doing all the tourist things. Our stay at Exuma Sol was our relaxation time and it was perfect. The beach house was clean and comfortable and the location with shuttle to town perfect for a slow down. Jolly Hall is incredible, we loved being able to pack a bag and walk barefoot to such a beautiful spot. The area was so safe and people so friendly we even left the kids home for a few hours and headed to town for a lunch date! Exuma has our heart 💕

Owners were very helpful-answering all my questions. Villa well taken care of. Nicely decorated. Amazing view to wake up to every morning. Loved having washer/dryer in the bedroom. Overall definitely would recommend to couple(s) small family or girls getaway. Oh and my husband loved fishing-caught a few barracudas

Spotless cottage had absolutely everything you would need for a beach vacation; beach chairs and coolers with backpack straps, ice packs for the cooler, tons of huge beach towels. They even had reuseable, heavy duty sandwich bags for packing lunch in the cooler. The beach in front of Hideaways was decent, a little cloudy but the Jolly Hall beach, a 5 min (10 min for us 68 and 69 yr seniors loaded up with chairs and coolers) was EXACTLY what the beach pics show. Never more than 6-8 people on the 1/2 to 3/4 mile perfect beach. Owners Mike and Karilynn respond almost immediately to any questions and staff at Hideaways was great. Highly recommend Exuma Sol!

I stayed with a friend for 7 nights at Exuma Sol. We both travel frequently for work and pleasure and have high standards especially regarding service. This was our first stay in the Bahamas and will not be our last! The place was perfectly located and Mike was a fantastic host. Very informative and responsive, although there was no need to reach out during our stay. The beach cottage had unbeatable views and a wonderful beach steps from our place. Mike and Karilynn have been very thoughtful in how they have equipped their place. Thoughtful and extremely helpful touches including : beach chairs, umbrellas, ,floaties, air pump, coolers, beach umbrella, games to name a few. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Bathroom had great water pressure and hot water. Kitchen was nice but didn’t cook beyond some eggs for breakfast. Location was absolutely perfect! If staying for a few days you don’t need a car since they offer a shuttle and the best beach - Jolly beach is in walking distance. Definitely recommend a car if staying for a week to allow you to explore the island. Cindy at the front desk and Devon were wonderful and always checking in on us during our stay. Wade and Janetta, property managers were also extremely welcoming and checked in to ensure our stay was going well. I HIGHLY recommend staying here and will be returning on my next trip to Exuma! My wife and I had an excellent time at Mike and Karilynn's place. It is minutes away from shopping in George Town and minutes away from swimming with the turtles at Hooper Bay. It is 15 minutes or so from the Airport and just a short walk away from one of the prettiest beaches in the world, Jolly Beach. The staff of the Hideway complex are all so friendly and helpful. There is nothing we would change.

Besides being a true tropical paradise whose gorgeous beaches cannot be equaled, Exuma has so much activity to offer. Our week stay was not enough to explore all of its fun spots. Our villa at the Hideaways was absolutely beautiful and comfortable, and it was on the most perfect location in the middle of Great Exuma with proximity to the restaurants, shops, water taxis, boat rentals, major town, as well as in a perfect location within the resort complex. True perfection. Both, the property owner and the property hosts were very welcoming and a pleasure to deal with, almost like family. What can I say, we will return again and again.

The view is lovely from Exuma Sol! Everything is as described - and such a BONUS to have beach chairs (with straps to carry on your back), plenty of beach towels for me and my son, and other amenities I discovered such as umbrellas for pop up showers and a 30L (or 40L) waterproof bag. We had plenty of dishes and pots/pans for cooking. You'd be remiss not to double check grocery store hours - but there's a great restaurant onsite that does takeout, but still make sure to plan accordingly. And do bring plenty of bug spray for outdoors if the buggers love you as much as they love me. We had a fantastic stay! Loved this condo! Will stay again when in the beautiful Exumas!
