I hosted a long weekend for family and the spaces in the house were perfect. Especially love the upstairs living room where people could chat lte at night without disturbing the other guests. The deck off the dining room, and the view, was amazing and we spent a lot of time outside. Everything was decorated very nicely and was comfortable. We will definitely stay again.

Overall we all thought it was a great place with a fascinating history. Too bad we couldn't see the closed off basement :( The other issues we had were the beds were too soft and lumpy. I ended up on the couch. I was uncomfortable with my 3 yr old grandson using the spiral stairs and my overweight brother found the stairs had to maneuver. My 6 yr old nephew slipped 2X on the stairs. There could have been more attention given to detailed maintenance. Light bulbs were burnt out, wall sockets didn't work, tree saplings growing near the house and in the bushes. A tool to remove seaweed from beach would have been helpful. Also an outdoor front porch light would be useful.

The house was great but the spiral staircase was a total surprise. Nothing was mentioned in the advertisement. Also, no rooftop deck usage after sundown.

Old home with lots of history. Plenty of room and our family enjoyed the lake. Ali was very responsive to our needs.

This is a truly wonderful property for a family vacation. The host is so helpful and communicative. The property easily accommodated our large group from 4 month old to Grandparents. The property feels so homely and has absolutely everything you might need and beautifully furnished. The history of the house is really interesting. The location is perfect on quieter Lake Como which is a great lake for water sports and fishing. The house has a perfect little garden and beach for all and especially the grandkids to play on and in the water. The host helped us find a boat rental that delivered directly to the private dock off the back garden. The house also has kayaks lifejackets and sand toys for use. The location is only 10 mins from Lake Geneva and so easy access to all its shops and restaurants and there are also two good restaurants in walking distance. We had the most wonderful family vacation largely due to all this property had to offer. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Our stay here was absolutely lovely! Beautiful home, wonderful setting, perfect location. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a group of 13 guys for a weekend golf trip. There was plenty of room and a bed for everyone. Really liked being on the lake and sitting out on the deck. House was very clean and comfortable.
