Idéalement situé en plein centre de Montpellier, cet appartement récemment rénové est parfait pour découvrir la ville. A l'intérieur, tout y est très fonctionnel et propre. Le triple vitrage permet d'atténuer grandement le bruit extérieur important car nous sommes vraiment au milieu des restaurants et de l'activité nocturne. Une place de parking (incluse dans la location) dans un parking public proche (100m) évite tout casse-tête de stationnement. Le contact avec le propriétaire a été très fluide et il a répondu à toutes nos questions / demandes.

Arrival AND departure were flexible and very helpful. My 75-yr-old husband especially appreciated help with the luggage. Wi-fi instructions were available. I suggest laundry suggestions and temperature mechanics instructions, too. But our days were sunny and warm and we were able to use the lovely, lovely apartment to best advantage. We sure appreciated that first carton of coffee (which we replaced) and many other niceties. As per other reviewers, the square is lively 24/7 but our vacation worked out nearly perfectly for us.

Ideale locatie direct in het centrum. Je hebt wel twee plekken op een slaapbank die niet heel chill slapen.

Apt très bien placé, agréable mais malheureusement un peu gâché par le manque de propreté et d’entretien de celui-ci . En effet vaisselle sale, placard et plan de travail poisseux...poussière pas faite, sanitaire pas top...évacuation de l’eau difficile dans la douche... protège matelas taché...etc et il manque également quelques produits de base essentiels comme sel, poivre, huile et vinaigre, produit vaisselle....pour une location à ce prix là c’est dommage !

Nous avons passé un très bon week end malgré des nuits un peu raccourcit par le bruit de la rue et de la pluie sur la verrière. Bel appartement idéalement situé au cœur du centre et très bien aménagé, propriétaires très accueillants.

The apartment was great - clean and well maintained. Excellent communication with owner and easy check-in and out process. Do be aware it is right in the heart of the Comedie district and it can get a bit loud in the evenings. Didn't bother us too much. We will absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Montpellier.

Can’t beat the location. Spacious apartment with a view to Place Jean Jaurès, close to literally everything. Hidden gem: Tintin store down the street. No elevator but the apartment is on the first floor. Owners are very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Sehr gut gelegene Wohnung in der Altstadt. Charmante Mischung von alt und modern, geräumig, alles was man braucht. Nur 8 Gehminuten vom Hauptbahnhof. Die Wohnung legt in "L'Écusson," die sehr schöne Altstadt von Montpellier. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, Bars, Restaurants, und Läden in der Nähe. Die Strassengeräusche könnte lärmempfindliche Menschen stören. Très bonne situation dans le vieux quartier de Montpellier. Mélange charmant de l'ancien et du moderne. spacieux, l'appartement a tout ce qu'il faut. Seulement 8 minutes à pied de la Gare St. Roch. Flâner dans "les petites rue de L'Écusson" est un grand plaisir. Le quartier est plein de choses à voir, plus bars, restaurants, et boutiques. Le quartier étant très animé, il y a un peu de bruit dans la rue.

Spacious apartment walking distance to everything. food, shopping, trams, etc... well equipped for the most part. More shelves or dressers would be very helpful as well as a toaster oven but overall a very nice place to hang out when visiting Montpellier. We will do so again on our next trip

Fabulous location and only up one floor ! Beautiful bathrooms - if only the furniture was up to the same standard. One shabby 2-seat sofa, one broken casual chair and one bedroom chair - for four people ! ??Two bedside lamps not working. A small outlay and attention to detail could see this put right then it would definitely get 5*. A beautiful city, great atmosphere, wonderful restaurants.

We had a marvelous time at Charlie's flat. Its in a 300-year old building that has been renovated and divided into various apartments. There are unique elements in his flat, such as a spiral stone staircase to nowhere that remains from the original space, and a former exterior patio that is now the indoor dining area with astro turf. The building is located in a lovely square with cafes, shops and palm trees, and we often heard a classical guitarist, percussionist or other musician providing background music to those dining al fresco. The space is just as described, with floor to ceiling windows in a building that is perhaps neoclassical in style, with an historic yet modern feel. The tall windows had weathered shutters which worked very well to reduce the sound of activities in Place Jean Jaures. Charlie told us about the 2 year renovation which was well done, creating a space with wonderful bathrooms, a modern kitchen, spacious and well-lit living room, a kitchen with island and stools, a separate dining space, 2 comfortable bedrooms, and air conditioning, which we used in June. The palatial ceilings, decorative ironwork in front of the lower part of the windows, and pretty architectural details made it feel very European. We didn't cook much in the kitchen, though the 2 burner cooktop, dishwasher, fridge and microwave were all helpful to have. There was an excellent market with fresh fruits, vegs, cheeses and prepared foods, only 5 min away at Les Halles Castellane, and two boulangeries nearby. Because of the flat's location, the entire old city was walkable. We loved the convenience to Place de la Comedie, the Opera (where we saw the symphony perform), the many quaint cobblestone streets and shops, and the tram (which is excellent). The Musee Fabre, Jarden des Plants, La Gare Montpellier Saint-Roch, Atelier de L'epicure (cooking school), and even the special restaurant, La Diligence are easy walks by foot. There is much to see and do and the tourist office is excellent. Note the flat is one level up a circular staircase; Charlie graciously carried our bags up the steps. He was a terrific host and met us as planned and promptly addressed minor issues that arose, like a burned out light bulb. He was also available for any questions that we had, even in English, which we greatly appreciated. The place was terrific for our family with college kids and we would happily return again.

The location was outstanding overlooking a beautiful square in the centre of old Montpelier. The town itself has lots to see with ancient building and narrow winding streets which hums day and night due to the young student population. We only spent 3 nights but could have spent more. The apartment itself was just as the pictures, spacious, functional and ideal for the 4 of us. (2 couples on a driving tour). Would definately stay here again and highly recommend it.

The apartment is in a fantastic, centrally located spot. The owners were very nice. It hade writhing we needed. Our only complaint is that the hot water only lasts for a couple minutes so if you like a nice shower you won't get it.

This is a great apartment in the historic centre of the town. Overlooks a central and lively square, a short walk from the station and only two minutes from Place de la Comedie. The accommodation is really spacious and includes everything you would need. We were a family of four - two adults and two teenagers, one 15 and one 19. Location wise it was perfect and we had plenty of space. The two bedrooms are spacious and two bathrooms was ideal. Lounge is comfy with large windows and balconies over the square. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is a great dining area - quirky with AstroTurf and a semi-opaque ceiling. The building is very old (I would love to know the history of) and the apartment holds true but with a contemporary feel too. Such as a beautiful stone staircase which goes nowhere! On arrival everything was spotless. Stephane was very helpful during the booking process and on arrival. Whilst he was available during our stay, we had no reason to contact him and checkout was quick and convenient. I would be very happy indeed to return here. Spacious, clean, and a great location for enjoying the city and exploring further afield.

Appartement très joli (les photos ne mentent pas !) et très bien situé. Une des chambres qui donne sur la rue reste assez sonore et une douche capricieuse s'est mise en marche à 6h du matin, mais sinon l'appartement était parfait ! Nous conseillons !

L'appartement est très bien placé, il ne peut pas être plus dans le centre de Montpellier! Malgré cela,le triple vitrage permet de rester au calme (dans la mesure où loger en plein centre ville le permet!). L'appartement est très spacieux. Il y a 2 salles de bain et les chambres se trouvent de part et d'autre de l'appart., alors on a vraiment de l'intimité. Il a toutes les comodités, il est moderne, fonctionnel et propre. Sans compter que les propriétaires sont arrangeants, très gentils et disponibles. Je recommande vivement cette location!!

My enthusiasm in describing our stay here is overwhelming. So many points to cover. Firstly, Stephane was exceptional in terms of communicating and facilitating the entire transaction from beginning to end. Location location location- a big pleasant surprise. We were in the heart of old Montpellier, right in the hub of all the excitement this beautiful city offers. The apartment was very spacious and had all the conveniences of home. Free speedy wifi, top quality HDTV with good channel selection, kitchen was very well epuipt. A most wonderful stay and we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a superior quality vacation. Thanks to Stephane for all your assistance in ensuring our stay was first class!
