This place was welcoming and homely from the moment you arrived,a lovely deck to sit on out in the sun and then a fully stocked kitchen with special treats left for the guests. So very relaxing absolutely everything was there . Beautiful thank you for our stay

Can’t say enough. Squeaky clean and every amenity you could possibly imagine. Nice private yard with a decent view. Rose made sure we had everything we needed, would stay again in a heartbeat.

The cosy cottage is a perfect home away from home for a short stay for two people. Rose has thought of everything. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is great. Thank you for having us stay at your place Rose. We thoroughly recommend this accommodation and look forward to a return visit. Great value for money.

So clean and fresh. So many positives: - fenced so was safe for our small dog. A doggie basket was made up with towels, a cloth, wipes, dog bowls and treats. So amazing. The fridge had milk in small glass bottle which looked awesome and small wrapped bars of chocolate, so yummy. Everything you needed to know was well presented in a book. The linen was well stocked with all you needed. Loved the Eco products used, no nasty chemicals. So much to like about this place, I think it would be hard to beat. The only negative is the road noise.

It was in a good place for us to travel to the gardens on the Garden Festival route. Just out of town and although it was near the main road it was quiet. Nice view from the deck across the lawn across some houses and out to sea. Well supplied with towels and extra blankets, coffee etc, and some yummy chocolates. Rose did us proud :-)

While the cabin certainly lives up to being cosy, the host Rose with her extra touches just makes the stay here simply wonderful. Our dog Victor had his own special welcome pack, stocked with a variety of treats, his own bowls to use during his stay , even towels just for him to use to dry off if he went swimming. Whilst the cabin is a small space it’s perfectly comfortable for 2 adults with their dog. Back beach is an off leash dog beach only 10 mins drive away , the coastal walkway stretches almost the entire length of New Plymouth and that is dog on leash . And don’t miss Pukekura park ! That’s dog on leash most of the year. Rose provides some useful info about where you can and can’t go with your doggo. A very comfortable and well supplied cosy cabin with an exceptional host !

Tidy, well appointed accommodation with pleasant outlook. Our dog loved well secured garden. Thoughtful provision for both pooch and humans. Rose was a friendly and helpful host.

Absolutely spotless .. so very well equipped with everything you could need .. little treats to eat .. for us and the dogs!! Milk tea and coffee .. plenty of towels.. a comfortable bed with extra bedding .. shower was amazing to !! And fully fenced section with shade for the dogs to play .. the host Rose is the most lovely person ... my husband and I will definitely be back .. thankyou Rose ... your truly so beautiful and thoughtful

Rose is an excellent host that is most welcoming. Whilst very windy it was still a relaxing break and was set up for my dog allowing for the weather. The treats were appreciated and Rose kept me informed about the internet issues outside of her control. I will certainly recommend to others and would stay again

Had to vacate home as floors getting sanded and polyurethaned. Bach was great for what we needed, our little dog was happy. We brought two vehicles and as the internal parking couldn’t accommodate both one was left on the street and unfortunately was broken into and attempted to be hotwired. A random act, I know but maybe more onsite parking could prevent this ( and reduce the amount of mowing required) Regardless of this, would recommend to others and come back myself,

I really like the accomodation. It was peaceful and clean which is good for me after all day appointment. Everything I need is there. Only thing to comment is sometimes its cold at night but the small oil heater does its job you just have to wait a little while to heat up. Owner is also nice even check up on me to make sure everything is well.

Rose's place is wonderful. This is the second time staying here and I always enjoy my stay. I love how dog friendly it is and Rose goes the extra mile with treats for both dog and human. I'm sure we will be back.

A wonderful wee place to stay - immaculate and welcoming, including the treats for Jack, our 4-month old puppy. Rose was amazing to deal with - nothing was a problem and she even provided an iron and using board at the last minute. There were so many small touches that it really felt like a home away from home. Completely puppy-proof section which meant we did not have to worry about our puppy escaping. Good location and easy to get to waterfront and downtown New Plymouth. A great few days and we hope to return one day. Thank you, Rose!

Hassle free. Very enjoyable for our needs

We were very happy in this propery which is small but has everythingyou may want. (except enough microvave dishes) Hostess Mary was very kind leaving goodies for us and bringing a warmer duvet when it turned very cold.

Clean, comfortable well equipped bach. wished we could have stayed longer.

The cleanest place I have stayed in for a long time including motels. Will be back. Oh and my doggy loved the freedom to run around by herself.

This little cabin had everything we needed for our few days stay. Off-street parking, immaculate inside, thoughtful touches and a comfy bed. Rose was quick to respond to queries, friendly and helpful. Recommend.

Excellent place

Everything was perfect, the location, the yard, the cabin was great. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place, everything was thought of and available, down to the dog treats. we were reluctant to leave. Thank you for contributing to a lovely weekend Rose.
