Cute, older house on a quiet street, walking distance to brunch, 1 block from nice grocery store. It was 95F degrees the weekend we visited Bend, the house was cool inside and the yard was beautifully shaded by a big leafy tree and fully fenced.

The house was perfect for our friend group of six! Had all the amenities listed and some more. Really enjoyed our stay here! Close by a market and many breakfast and coffee spot. Short drive to Galveston st, downtown and old mill.

We stayed here for a weekend that included floating the river and a concert at Hayden Homes. The house was perfectly suited to our needs (two couples) with comfy beds, great A/C, and the perfect location to walk to the market, restaurants, and even home from the concert venue. We had plenty of space to leave our paddle boards out to dry and enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evenings. Will keep this place on the short list for future visits to Bend!

This cute bungalow is close to everything. The kitchen is well equipped if you feel like cooking. We loved the front porch and beautiful yard. I highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at this property. Myself, my fiancé and 2 friends spent a long weekend in Bend with our 2 dogs. The property is great for dog owners. Spacious & fully fenced yard. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the grocery store was just across the street which was a plus. The location was great, many cafes and restaurants within a 5-minute walk, and downtown Bend was a 20-minute walk. The owners were very responsive and accommodated our last-minute request to extend our stay. We would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration at this cozy home. The hot tub was a highlight! And the neighborhood was amazing -- walking distance to downtown! I would definitely stay here again.

Loved the location and house. Saltwater hot tub was wonderful and the king bed was comfortable. The house is within walking distance to natural grocery store, excellent coffee, and restaurants. We used the bikes once and that was fun. We’ll definitely return!

Diana's place was great for a weekend getaway! The location is fantastic with numerous restaurants within walking distance. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the hot tub was great!

Cute and comfortable little home with nice kitchen and hot tub. Neighborhood is walkable and very close to grocery store and delicious restaurants. Close ride to downtown as well!

The house and location were great. That being said, the A/C was ok in respect to keeping the living area cool, but the lacked in the rest of the house, including the master. The hot tub hours were sort of bad though. Having the jets be too loud for neighbors after dark, when it's cool enough to enjoy was a bit lackluster. I'd rent from this company again, but I'd pass on getting a unit with a hot tub again.

Good location
Great location for the price. Needs a little bit of upkeep. Hot tub controllers didn’t work, broken hairdryer, rusty teapot. Very heavy air freshener smell when we arrived. Beds were comfortable and sheets were high-quality. A nice quiet neighborhood close to breweries and parks. We didn’t have a dog with us, but it is a great property for those who have one. Fully fenced yard, pet friendly interior.

Great location, communicative hosts!
Thanks Stone's Throw team for being responsive! We enjoyed our stay, and really loved the location. Squeaky floor, so no sneaking around after the kids are in bed, but otherwise a perfect place for a week in Bend.

Terrific stay
We stayed in the bungalow for a wildly snowy week in which the road conditions weren't always accommodating. We arrived an hour early and had to leave an hour later than planned but the hosts were gracious and kindly let us in early and checked in to see that we were doing okay. The hot tub was an added bonus during the cold week.

Exceeds Expectations
This is the perfect place to stay for a Bend getaway. The house was very nice and cozy and walking distance from anywhere you'd like to go in town. The fenced in yard was great to have for my dogs too. My wife and I plan on staying here everytime we visit Bend.

Comfy, well-stocked bungalow
We had a wonderful stay in A Stone's Throw Bungalow. We are a family of four. The home has a well stocked kitchen and games that our kids enjoyed. Great neighborhood with an easy walk to the grocery store, yummy restaurants and coffee shops. The hot tub was a fun treat, especially after a day of skiing. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely perfect!
What a fabulous time we had at this wonderful bungalow!! Location was perfect.... walked to the grocery store and/or coffee shop each morning prior to heading out for our daily adventures. Couldn’t be any more convenient to shopping, restaurants, and the main drag leading out to Bachelor! Nicely appointed rooms and such a cozy place to relax after a day of fun! And of course the hot tub was a hit! Sad to leave after just a couple days, but will seek this out for sure on our return trip!!

Overall Decent House
Overall our stay was good. Bathroom is very tight, but functional. Soundbar for tv did not work. Not sure if it was a remote issue or soundbar itself. Roku remote did not work as well. Neither were a big deal for us though. Only real parking is street parking. Which is fine, however it may not always be in front of house. There is a very small parking spot in alley. Yard was great for dogs. Hot tub was nice as well. Extremely hot though.
We only used one of the beds. It was ok comfort wise. Not the best, but have had much worse.

Charming
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Basalt Bungalow. The home is roomy and comfortable. The window unit air conditioner kept the living room cool in the hot afternoons while we were there (95+degrees). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all we needed in it. I love that the owner left some locally made products in the home (coffee and handmade soap). The grocery market on the next block was great and super convenient. The walk to Drake Park was was easy and very enjoyable. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast at two different coffee shops each within a couple of blocks of the house. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great weekend with our kids at the Basalt Bungalow. We loved the fenced private yard to have meals out side. The bungalow is clean and comfortable and well appointed with everything you need to make your stay perfect.

Great neighborhood in Bend
We enjoyed walking to restaurants and parks on the river. Cute little bungalow. The hot tub was fantastic in the private fenced yard.
Very well organized and good directions were appreciated.
Only thing I would change is the smoke detector was too sensitive and went off when we made breakfast every morning.
Would love to stay here again.

Beautiful cottage in an amazing neighborhood
We were so impressed by this property and found it fully stocked with everything we needed and more. The kitchen was a true chef's kitchen, which is rare for a rental in my experience. The beds were super comfortable and the yard is ideal for morning coffee or evening beers while grilling. We stayed with our four year old son as a birthday weekend for him and he loved the provided toys and games as well as the garage to store his bike. We could walk to town and nearby parks easily and had a blast at Drake Park with friends. Top off the day of adventures with a soak in the hot tub and what could be better?
