Our family loved this house. Allowed us to get a way from the busyness of pigeon forge but was close enough to enjoy all that the area has to offer with a short drive in and out of town. Better then even described in the description.

Cabin was spacious and had everything we needed. It actually exceeded our expectations, usually listings are embellished but not this property. We were in town for baseball and the location was perfect! Communication with the property owner and manager was excellent!

The house was located close to the ballparks and attractions.

I will start my review with the property itself. The cabin was absolutely beautiful! Well maintained, enough room for our group of 5 adults and 4 children. Kitchen is very well stocked, as well as the bathrooms! The location of this property is perfect! 15 minutes from almost everything we wanted to go to in Pigeon Forge and about 30 minutes from Gatlinburg. The area is peaceful and you don’t hear the hustle and bustle of the tourist town. We didn’t have a chance to use the pool, but it was alway clean and beautiful when we drove by! The owner and property manager are exceptional people! We received excellent communication from them both before and during our stay. We had a mistake in our reservations that was completely my fault, and they were very quick and kind enough to help me correct the issue. We will definitely be back next year, as the property was enjoyed and lived by our entire group! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful cabin with us!

We always stay in cabins when visiting Tennessee. Since 2019 we’ve made 5 trips to the Pigeon Forge area and have stayed in 4 different cabins. The latest trip being May 6-13 2023….in this cabin. This is my favorite cabin for many reasons, but the 2 major ones are the layout of it, and the people who own it and take care of it. Ryan, the owner, is so helpful. Lorie, the one who takes care of the property, is amazing! Before our trip I called her a couple times for information, and I couldn’t have asked for more from those conversations. Also, while on this trip my husband and I had a close encounter with a bear! We were sitting outside, downstairs, and a bear walked right into our driveway, not more than 15 feet away from us! It was so cool and terrifying, at the same time HA! We’ll definitely stay here again ♥️

Had a small family reunion and it was exactly what we needed it for. The separate bedrooms with baths was perfect for us, gave all of us our own privacy without waiting for others. The best part about it was the extremely comfortable beds & pillows and very roomy, hot showers. The extra blankets came in handy, so that was a plus as well. Had everything we needed to get through a nice relaxing week. Lots of privacy.

The property was perfect quite, big enough to comfortably accommodate 7 and close to everything! Nice and relaxing.

The owner has done a great job making sure that this cabin has everything you need - comfy furniture, extra blankets, a pool table, air hockey, arcade games, and big TVs in every room with remotes that actually work. Plus it is very close to town and not a difficult drive.

Property was just as described, quiet neighborhood. Our family had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Had a great time. The drive to the cabin is an easy commute without really steep hills and is located close to all activities. The Kitchen and main living room are located on the 2nd floor so steps are required to get there. We had six people in our group and enjoyed all the decks, porch swings, and outdoor fireplace located on the deck.

The cabin was great. It was well stocked with toilet paper, soap and linens. They had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. We really enjoyed the game room, hot tub and outside fireplace. The manager was very responsive to all of our questions. We would recommend this cabin to others.

I would give this cabin a 10/10 if I could. Everything about this home was amazing! When I was looking for a home for our family vacation I looked at hundreds. When I came to this one I knew it was the one we wanted. I read every single review, some good and some bad but overall people loved this cabin. So I thought why not give it a try and I’m so HAPPY we did! Yes, it has bugs and cobwebs outside on the decks but you are in the woods. If you aren’t the outdoorsy type then a hotel would be a better fit for you! The inside of this cabin is breathtaking and it is just beautiful! It was extremely clean on our arrival! We quickly got settled in and the kids began to enjoy the game room. Once we were settled we ventured off to pigeon forge which is probably a 5 min drive at most. This cabin was the perfect fit for our family! Everything from renting, to check in, our stay and checking out was exceptional!

Wonderful experience at the Great Escape! It was exactly as described. Booking was simple and communication with the owner was very easy. Kitchen had everything we needed. We didn’t use the fireplaces but throughly enjoyed the hot tub and game room! Strong Wi-Fi signal allowed me to get some work done in the mornings. Even had a bear sighting early one morning! The many porches were wonderful and the outside grill area was awesome. Located a relatively short drive from Pigeon Forge we were only minutes away from all the action. Also, the community pool was a short walk/drive from the cabin and was very nice. We would definitely stay here again!

We vacationed at the Great Escape with our grandchildren in early August and had a wonderful time. This was the first trip to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area and there was so much to do. Home is very conveniently located near many attractions, grocery shopping and restaurants. The pool is a short walk or 1 minute drive from the cabin. We had 4 adults, 2 teens, and 2 small children and had lots of room. The porches are great and I enjoyed cooking in the outside kitchen. The grownups enjoyed the arcade game and playing classic video games. The host was very fast to respond to questions through the booking process and followed up to ensure the stay met our expectations.

This cabin was miserably hot. We couldn't stand to stay in. We gave it a couple of hours, trying to play games with kids at the kitchen table and sweated so bad, we had to go downstairs to cool off and eventually left when we called the manager and told her. We came back to the cabin the next day after doing things around town and someone showed up around 6 or so to fix it and said it needed to be charged and wouldn't take long. It never cooled off. The lowest the temp got was 76 early in the morning. All parties were notified of this. The cabin outside was really dirty, like it had been sitting up for a year, spider webs and dirt caked on everything - unlike what pictures show. We took a towel and dusted of chairs a little bit to sit outside for a moment, but don't count on sitting anywhere - especially the picnic table we were looking forward to enjoying the weather with kids eating outside. There is a hammock in the front yard that is unreachable unless you want to lay in it with tall grass all around your head after walking in it. It needs to be cut around it so people can actually get to it. Over all, this would be a decent cabin if it was kept up, sadly - it is not. We take a family trip to this area twice a year and were excited about this cabin to possibly stay in every year, but it ended up being the worst stay ever. This cabin is in a neighborhood like setting, no view really of mountains. The area of badmitton, volleyball, horseshoes was not found at all either, the cabin is really closely surrounded by nothing but trees and a road to other cabins.

The property manager was amazing to work with. The house was amazing and so close to all the fun things to do at Pigeon Forge. All 10 of us had an amazing time. This was our first time in Tennessee and we will definitely come back.

Ryan and Lori were friendly and quick with communication. There is a lot of reading and an extra sign-in contract page thingy for their house rules, and to understand their check-in and check-out process. Overall check-in/check-out was simple; just the basics nothing too crazy. And well worth it for the absolute beaut of a cabin! What an amazing location! And the features it comes with are so nice! My family enjoyed evening pool games and air hockey. The ambiance of the living room is just heaven and waking up in the morning and having your coffee in the smokey mountains is a phenomenal experience! I will say it didn't fit 10 people comfortably. Their pull-out is not cushioned well and you can easily feel the metal underneath. However, there were air mattresses that were provided. Adding two extra beds or a bunk bed in the downstairs den room instead of the sofa and tv it had, is suggested. Overall this place is highly recommended by us. They are absolute pros and use the vrbo app for your convenience too! Do not pass up the opportunity to experience such an amazing place that has it all!

The property was beautiful, the home was beautiful. We stayed in master bedroom upstairs and the bed was wonderful, hot tube was a great end to the day each day! Love all the rocking chairs, swings on the porches/decks! Absolutely loved our stay here! Thank you so much for the use of your beautiful cabin!

we had a wonderful time at ryans cabin. we had to evacuate on the fourth day due to a wildfire. ryan and his manager lorie were great in keeping us informed of the fire and worked out a refund for the days we could not use the property. the refund helped defray the costs of having to stay in town. i would rent ryans property again without hesitation. he and lorie are a class act. dave ingram and family

Overall a nice cabin, issues needing fixing (radio/stereo doesn't work properly, doors dont open/close properly, master shower dial does not go to hot, lamp on wall loose, dead roaches. Had a great time, think this cabin needs an overhaul (no finish left on dining room table, sticky even after cleaning, couch back torn exposing stuffing, wood floors are old with gouges and no finish), pool table filthy, bumpers worn out which made it difficult to play. The price was reasonable,, the cabin was quaintly decorated, in a nice area and the outside decks are fabulous. Close to major attractions. We enjoyed our stay in Tennessee.

Cabin had everything we wanted and close to everything. Very nice. We will definitely use again. Remotes need batteries.

Beautiful home located in the heart of Sevierville and Pigeon Forge. Located just a few miles from all the main local attractions of Pigeon Forge and just a short drive to Gatlinburg!

Lots of space and many more supplies available than more expensive cabins I’ve stayed in. I always bring extra toilet paper, soaps, garbage bags, etc because the starter supply in most cabins are minimal. There was plenty here for the weekend. Communication with Lorie was easy and convenient. Plenty of space for friends and family and close to the parkway.
