Had an amazing time at this Montauk house on the lake. The property is huge - front and back - and very well kept. There is access to the lake - the kayaks and floats were used daily ! The 3 bedrooms are all very nice size and the living room is very large as well - as are the 2 1/2 bathrooms- outside shower was great as well. The large outside deck - hot tub and the view are truly amazing during sunsets :) Will def try to book again next year. Only negative is you are far from town and beaches - so pack well - but my family was fine with that and parking in town was easy. Great stay. Highly recommend.

Right on lake Montauk can’t beat the views nice breeze, multiple decks and seating, clean kitchen, comfortable furniture and bed. Ac in our room with en-suite was too cold but otherwise fantastic. Weekday price was high but what can you do? Weekend price would have been completely unaffordable. WiFi was good easy clean up but stair bannisters to basement where you have to bring linen and garbage before leaving were slick for an older person. I had to fix the element on the stove which was loose. No big deal. Hot tub was great, was able to watch Netflix. Can bicycle up and down road of lake montauk east. Incorrect info about beach pass at iga supermarket. You just go to parking lot and pay 35 dollars. Beach was great. Bring wind proof umbrella with screw down anchor. Lots to do in montauk. Too bad you need an ungettable parking sticker for a lot of the other . beaches. Plenty of outdoor dining for the Covid conscious. I’d come back again.

Lovely house. Clean and inviting. Great communication. Beach is not really walking distance when you consider what you need for the day.

We had a great stay at this property!! The house is right on the lake so we enjoyed taking advantage of the kayaks and grill. The only negative to note was that there were no basic toiletries in the bathrooms like shampoo, conditioner, body wash so we did have to go out and buy or own. We were also short on towels but the property manager was super responsive and brought some over right away. Overall, best location if you’re looking to be right on the lake!

Fantastic stay, very comfortable and clean. Well-maintained. Don’t miss the path near the hedge that goes right up to the water.

We decided on this house based on the lakefront views, families only listing, comfortable rooms with TVs and swing set in the backyard. (Picture 2 in the listing) We were incredibly disappointed to see upon arrival that the swing set had been completely removed. We had hoped to enjoy dinner on the deck, watching the sunset while our kids enjoyed the advertised play equipment. Our children were so upset at first but luckily the weather was nice enough for outings that we weren’t at the house much during the day. We also were happy to have TVs in the bedrooms, however the batteries were either missing or dead in all of the remotes. By chance we had extra batteries with us, but as it was quiet Montauk during the off season, we were unable to buy extra batteries until the next day. The house is a very interesting layout and the view is absolutely beautiful. These minor inconveniences were frustrating but overall we had a lovely time.

Seven women who were all classmates in high school 45 years ago came together for an outstanding relaxing weekend in Montauk at this fabulous house. The weather and location could not be beat! We can't wait to return.

Located in a quiet and beautiful Montauk neighborhood, this house was terrific and the the town reminds me of the East Coast version of west Maui.

A very well appointed home with everything we needed and wanted on our beach vacation. We grilled several nights and had all the dishes, pots, pans, serving platters…even a salad spinner. There were nice kayaks to use with easy access to the water. All beds were comfortable and well equipped. There was even a large selection of family type games with plenty of seating to comfortably play!

This was a beautiful home to stay in. It was right on Montauk lake with a beautiful yard and deck. Set way back from the road with lots of privacy. We love the cool circular feature of the home, made it really interesting. Bedrooms were comfortable and clean. Three bathrooms made it very nice. It was a perfect place for a moms getaway!!

Fabulous week in Mtk at this perfectly situated home .. peaceful mornings sipping coffee watching boats go by .. evening spent on spacious deck with glorious sunset views.. kayaks provided by host (Barbara) a real treat! Outdoor shower always a rental must have and did not disappoint! Kitchen well appointed.. Comfortable beds AC worked well. A++ experience:) We ❤️ Mtk!

My husband, dad & I enjoyed our mini vacation in this very comfortable home. We especially enjoyed the view of the lake & the occasional deer in the back lawn. The owner was very easy to work with,within 24 hours she would get back to you with any questions & concerns. We are looking forward to coming back next year. Elaine

It was a great 5 day getaway to explore Montauk and the surrounding villages. The owner was very responsive and easy to deal with. The house was very well stocked. All in all a very positive experience.

Beautiful home

Really enjoyed this home! One of the nicer homes in Montauk we have stayed in. Very comfortable, clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Good homey, comfy feeling house with a nice modern and up to date kitchen. The deck and the view are amazing! The hot tub is perfect for the evening sunsets on the lake. We enjoyed kayaking as well. Barbara was a pleasure to communicate with! We will definitely come back next summer!

We spent 5 nights at this beautifully located house. The house was much bigger than we expected- what a living room! The view of the lake was relaxing (something from a postcard) and we took advantage of the kayak. The short drive to town made it easy to go to the beach, shop, and eat out. Barbara was extremely helpful with any questions we had and very easy to get in contact with. It was a great week and we hope to get back next year!

The property is well maintained and spacious. The owner was accessible and responded to everyone question and concern we had. We had a lovely family vacation.

Perfect home to enjoy all that montauk has to offer. The views of the sunset from the back of the house are spectacular. We enjoyed large deck with ample space to lounge in the sun.

We had a fantastic weekend in Montauk! The owner of the home was great at communicating from the start (booking),during the stay/after (if needed). The home was very spacious with a stunning view and backyard. It actually rained one day when we were there so we were also thankful for the big living room with a tv and board games! The home is close to town/beaches. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a great weekend in Montauk.

Wonderful few days in this lovely, well appointed home! It was more then we could ask for! Each room was comfortable and amazing, but the crown jewel of this home is the back deck overlooking the pond Sitting on the deck, looking out at the water is very calming and thats just the weekend we wanted We will be back!

I rented this house for our family to have a long overdue get together The pictures do not so the house justice! The bedding was very comfortable and the setting is lovely and quiet

We spend the July 4th weekend here and it was perfect. The hot tub to the grill to the gorgeous backyard, it was the best way to spend the 4th with friends in the perfect setting. The house is beautifully kept with everything you'd need. Will be back for sure!

We had been vacationing on Block Island for many years for our annual family gathering but now that my parents are in their 80's it was getting too difficult for them to get there. They live on Long Island so we started exploring options closer to their home. This house met if not exceeded all our expectations. The house is larger than the pictures suggests and there was ample room for the 7 of us. The wonderfully quiet street (so unlike downtown Montauk) was a blessing yet the proximity to excellent hiking trails and restaurants kept us all busy and well fed. The backyard and deck are HUGE and ripe for lazy mornings, afternoons, sunsets, and wonderful star-gazing at night. We hope to make this our NEW vacation destination in years to come!

My family and I have been coming to this house for the passed few years for our annual Striper trip. The house is more then accommodating and the views are great. The yard is big enough for the whole family and its a plus that you are seconds away from the inlet. Anyway considering a stay in Montauk has to check this house out!

We rented this vacation home sight unseen from the homeaway site/photos. Barbara was very helpful in preparing us for what to expect but we were blown away by how fabulous it was in reality from the first moment we drove up to the front door! The views are outstanding from sunrise to sunset and star gazing after that! The huge deck was like additional living areas, a shaded place for breakfast coffee and chaises for sunbathing then dinner around the dining table. We never took an indoor shower because we loved the outdoor shower so much! Yet the bathrooms were all updated beautifully. We have rented a few different house over the years and this kitchen was by far the best stocked with everything you could need to cook with. We loved being able to take a kayak out right from the backyard. The beds were comfortable and rooms spacious. We loved the view and deck so much that we did not even go to the beach everyday. And our cousins visited with small children one evening and the playset was a big hit. We even hung a piñata from it! We discovered Fishbar a few doors down which also had beautiful sunsets. It was peaceful when we wanted and we could head into town when we wanted the crowds. We would definitely stay here again over and over. Thank you Barbara!

The property and location were perfect for our long weekend. We easily slept eight, with plenty of room to spare. The house has ample living space to accommodate a large group. The back deck and lawn is perfect for a scenic meal, or lounging and getting sun. The location is also fantastic - an easy drive or taxi into downtown. To top it all off, Barbara is great to rent from - she made the process easy and has the house set up to ensure you have a great vacation!

I stayed at this wonderful house with 4 friends and had a great time. The house was spacious. The view from the backyard was really nice and the location was perfect. Close enough to town that going out was simple with a car, but far enough away so it was quiet and private. It was super private and we really had a good time. Great location if you have a bike, as the beach is only 2 miles away, and parking there is not allowed with a car.

My friends and I have been going to Montauk for 15 years and we finally find our perfect vacation home! The location is great and the home is beautifully maintained. True home comforts with no reason to leave the property. It's close enough to town and enjoy the town but far away enough to be away from it all. Can't say enough great things about this home. Owner was easy to deal with and was always prompt to answer any questions/concerns. We are looking forward to renting next year!

My husband and two kids spent the entire month of September at this house. It was terrific. It felt like home. THe back deck is amazing and my kids had a blast on the jungle gym. The owner is super nice and helpful. I hope to grab a few days at the house again.
