We have vacationed at Silver Strand Beach 4 times and stayed at 4 different VRBO’s. This house was the best! It is very spacious and clean with garage FULL of beach equipment. We will be back to this house for sure 😁

We had a nice time at the condo. The furniture is a little worn. Kitchen table is rickety for playing games and the couch is uncomfortable. Great location to the beach. Access is right down the street. The garage is full of beach activities!! Kitchen is stocked with supplies! The condo is right next to a Airforce base that is abandoned. Not really an issue just didn’t expect. Neighbors seemed friendly enough. We were there when some dolphins were washed up on the beach. So sad! Watched the seals swimming in the area which was fun!!

I just returned home after a girls getaway at this beach house. It could not have been more fun! There is ample space for everyone and lots of toys in the garage for biking, going to the beach, etc. The location was great and the owner was very nice and easy to contact. All of the ladies said that they would love to return next year. Thumbs up!

Oxnard was a perfect spot for us. We were close enough to LA and to Santa Barbara that we went back and forth throughout the week but also far enough to enjoy the small town feel. The house had plenty of room for the 9 of us. It was a very easy short walk to the beach. The local food was great! We have a wonderful time!!

This home had all the things!. Bikes and boards and even a trolly! The teens spent hours in the water and riding around. Host was great. Hope to come again.

We booked the property for a marathon we were running nearby. It had the right amount of really comfortable beds, kitchen was well stocked so we could have family dinners and the easy 2 min walk to the beach was fantastic.

We will definitely try to come back when we visit family in the area.

This house is just a short stroll to the beach and within reasonable walking distance to a few eateries. The supply of beach toys and equipment they’ve made available for use includes everything you need and more. The host was very friendly and responsive — a pleasure to deal with!

The garage was like a sporting goods store. The kids loved the bikes, boogie boards and sand toys. The kitchen was well stocked.

The house is beautiful & lots of aminities & gadgets to use for the beach which is very close to the beach. Relaxing, quiet neighborhood. The host/ owner is wonderful & quick to respond for any issues arise. I would definitely come back & rent this place again. Thank you for making our staycation worthwhile!!!!

What a wonderful home. Everything was perfect and there were so many toys provided for our use, i.e., paddleboards, wetsuits, sand toys, wagons, blankets, beach chairs. We had a great time and can't wait to go back.

Love that we’re just few steps near the beach

Overall stay was great and property was clean. Home equipped with all bikes , kitchen supplies, towels etc. Proximity to beach was within walking distance. The only downside- as a family of six with a toddler the pressures of remaining quiet was stressful. I would say it's almost impossible to meet the quiet expectations in the house and neighborhood with a large family. We initially booked the guest house for the week and changed to the weekend because some of our party left. Per the listing, we were under the impression that the " guest house" would be vacant unless rented by us. Two days prior to check in, we were informed that the owners adult son would be staying the week. While it is named a guest house, it is attached and can be easily accessed through the main house. While there was no incidents, it was very uncomfortable given the several doors that the adult son could've accessed into my children's bedroom area. In the book provided to guests in the home states there is a permanent renter, which is not listed on the site and the information was known to the owner ahead if time. We had no time to change our mind in staying in property and when advised of the circumstance, our booking was already non refundable. I would say the lack of tranparancy outweighed all the positive aspects of the property . However, we made the best of our stay and explored some landmarks nearby.

We enjoyed our stay in Oxnard. Didn't know much about the area before booking. We ended up driving to Ventura almost everyday, but this area is nice and quiet. Safe to let kids/teens play outside. We enjoyed having access to wetsuits and surfboards. We also enjoyed the bikes. The house had plenty of space. The only things that could be improved are the mattress pad on the bottom trundle- need a new one this has stains. And some extra silverware. We ran out of spoons everyday.

We love this beach house for our family! It is fully stocked with everything you need and more including bikes, boogie boards, surfboards, kayaks, wetsuits and beach gear including chairs and beach umbrellas. It is just a walk down the street to the beach and it's a lovely community. It is our home away from home :-)
