We had a lovely, peaceful, joyful getaway!

Great place to reset and unwind! Steps from the beach, shopping only minutes away, and very nice locals. The house has everything you could possibly need, even down to coffee and creamer. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful small house with extremely nice yard. We couldn’t ask for more when we are in and out of California, our “go to” place for sure.

We (2 adults plus dog) had a lovely time at this property. Everything was as advertised. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet, and the beach was just a few minutes away. Lisa responded to our questions in record time. We will be adding this vacation home to our list of all-time favorites.

We had a great stay. The place was cute, clean, and comfortable. It was perfect for our family of three and our small dog. We plan to book again for our future quick getaway.

The property is well maintained. The property has all the conveniences of home just a block from silver. Definitely would stay ar property again

This was our second time staying at Chic Beach Shack. It’s a very comfortable space for a small family and a dog. The location can’t be beat, just steps from one of the best beaches in SoCal. We can’t wait to return!

Our trip ended up better than expected! We are locals who came just for a change of scenery to enjoy the beach. The house was perfect to accomplish just that! Everything was as expected per the posting minus some minor spiderwebs around the front and backyard. Nothing that couldn’t be wiped down before using though! We took advantage of some of the local fun around town and had a blast!

We enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint is the quality of the cookware. We do not like cooking on scratched Teflon . We loved listening to the military Taps being played every night at 8:08 pm.

This was my 2nd stay in this chic shack. I enjoyed my stay with the perfect weather and great places to dine and walk around. Whenever I needed something at the house, I contacted the owner and she was very attentive to my needs at all times. Looking forward to going back soon!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this property and will not be the last! It's such a great house so close to the beach! It's so cozy and the backyard is great!! We brought our bikes this time and rode around the neighbor. Everyone is so kind from the bar around the corner to the corner store! Can't wait to stay here again!!!

My daughter and I stayed in this adorable beach house for a weekend to celebrate Mother's Day. The beach was a block away in a wonderful, friendly neighborhood close to some local good eats. The house was impeccable on arrival and the host manager was always accessible for all our needs. It was well stocked with coffee and teas plus other basics. I can't wait to return!

The house is tastefully decorated, nice bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen all recently remodeled. Great backyard, perfect for bbqing, outdoor dining and sitting around the fire pit. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating is that the pots and pans need to be upgraded as well as the cooking utensils and need to have a better wine opener, other than that it was perfect and so close to the beach. I would definitely stay again!

The #1 reason I chose this home was the location. My family has vacationed in the Silverstrand area for over 20 years and we just love the neighborhood. This home was very enjoyable and wonderful and just a short, quick walk down the street to the beach! The beds were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, pots, pans and glassware so we were able to cook every night without missing anything. The BBQ was fantastic as well and we used it a couple of nights for hamburgers, chicken and steaks! The backyard had to be mine and mom's favorite. It was very spacious, relaxing and quiet! My son was also very happy we could bring our two dogs on vacation with us. We loved the quiet walks around the neighborhood and being able to ride our bikes down to the corner store and little café. We would definitely love to come back to this home as it was quite perfect for us!

The property is just as it is represented, everything was clean. The back patio is really nice, wish we could of spent more time back there.

The house is in a good location away from major streets and walking distance to beach. All rooms have a TV. VERY clean. Nice outdoor seating area with table and chairs. Would recommend stay here.

Lisa was attentive and the house was as described we really enjoyed our time here.

This was a great get away for a short business trip to the area. Minutes from the beach. Great outdoor sitting area with a fireplace and grill. Hope to come back another time.

We had a wonderful time at the beach shack in Oxnard. This was the first vacation we have taken as a family in over five years. It was everything we could have dreamed of and more. Comfortable beds, awesome back patio and just a few steps to the beach. We enjoyed every moment of our time and intend to come back next summer :). Thank you!
