This cute beach house is very close to the sand and beach. Our stay was fun and comfortable. The house is roomy and nicely decorated. The host, Lisa is great to communicate with.

This was a wonderful way to spend Mother’s Day weekend with the family. The house was very modern and had a large dinning room making it very easy to all sit together and catch up for some great BBQ. The house was so close to the beach we were able to just amble over as we felt. Would definitely plan to come back for an additional stay. There were quite a few ants so just make sure to not leave any food out. Thanks again for a wonderful time!

Lisa was great with communication. The property was perfect with all the comforts of home. Kitchen was great, the bedrooms were clean and accommodating. The beach is half a block away and easy to walk to. Definitely loved staying at the property and recommend this location!

Charming home, can’t beat the location. Little things were slightly annoying like the lack of hand towels in the bathroom and cleaners still being there at 4pm, but we’d definitely stay again.

The best place for the best vacations

Our group of 5 adults stayed in the bungalow for one week as part of a larger family reunion. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location in a quiet neighborhood close to the beach is great. The house is well stocked with kitchen items, even spices, and linens and beach items. The house and patios are spacious and very comfortable. Genevieve and JR and helpers were at the house finishing preparations when we arrived early. They were gracious, welcoming, kind and so helpful. It’s so refreshing after a long road trip to experience such a reception! JR even offered to unload the car! When our stay was over we didn’t want to leave. We had come to feel “at home”. Thank you Genevieve, JR, Lisa and all the staff for such an enjoyable, if too short, week!

The Barefoot Beach Bungalow is a house! A beautifully decorated house with fabulous beds, a chef's kitchen, cozy front porch with fire pit, and a 5 minute walk to the beach. So close we put on our wetsuits in the house instead of at the beach. TV in every room, if that is your thing. Every possible kitchen appliance. En Suite bathroom to die for.

The Barefoot Beach Bungalow was a great place to stay. Very clean and very close to the beach. It had all the supplies needed to stay in and cook. TVs in every room. Hope to revisit this nice place again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Silver Strand! The house has all the comforts of home and more. The fireplace made the winter days feel so cozy. The beds were so comfortable and the claw foot tub was a bonus. The neighborhood is really nice and the area had so many friendly faces.

Easy and fun

Our stay at this property was amazing! The house itself is so comfortable and inviting; plenty of room for 5 adults (2 couples and a single), and the location couldn't have been more perfect. Literally 1/2 a block from a gorgeous, wide, uncrowded beach. Plenty of beach chairs and towels on site at the house. Also very short drive to grocery stores, etc. We had several very pleasant dinners cooking in, as well as gret day trips to Los Olivos and The Channel Islands. Lisa was so easy to communicate with, and instructions were easy to follow. Can't wait to stay here again!

We stayed at this Silverstrand house for the month of July 2021. It's a comfortable, welcoming home with especially nice artistic touches. Comfortable beds. Good quality linens and towels. Four TVs. Well-stocked with paper goods and spices. A special note - I've rarely had such a positive, responsive experience with an owner. Lisa and her team are the best.

This beach home was great! Very clean, nice kitchen and comfortable beds. Only issue was the gas grill that would not light but the manager offered to replace it the next day though we decided we didn’t need it . Overall excellent stay :)

This was a great property. I would definitely go there again. The outside deck was so cool that we never even bothered sitting in the living room (even though it was nice, just not as cool as the outdoor beach vibe). Verbo kept blowing the process of renting the place, but the owner was amazing at helping us out during the frustration.
