The bathroom was old and dirty. Room Key Card was not working one night- we didn’t get a new one and had to stay in the room till the next morning which was happily our check out day.

We had family room and kids room beds were messy when we arrived in evening and it had to be done by receptionist. Several spots in ceiling were defective; blinking, humming or hanging down. Ventilation fan in bathroom was missing the actual fan, so did not work well. None of it was fixed while we were there. Wonder if they will actually do so. Friendly receptionist was doing all that she could to help, but seems she is up against low maintenance budget. We asked for compensation for these flaws. Reception then gave us an email address to contact. We wrote all details to them with photos. After two day still nothing but a confirmation email that they received it. Not impressed. Had expected that the hotel would just give a discount or other compensation. I think we will give Fletcher hotel chain a miss next time, as we have had similar experience at other hotel in same chain.

Windows you can open but not when you want privacy as blind wont allow windows to open. Untidy and no maintenance around hotel Could do with make over.and better managed .

The location was lovely, the bed comfortable and a nice selection for breakfast. One of the rooms had to be changed due to a foul odour and this was done immediately without any fuss.

No kettle and the decor is getting tired.

Staff in the evening and morning were friendly. Breakfast was fine, but it took a long time for them to restock, because they are understaffed - only one person running around. So even when we checked out the tables were still filled with dirty dishes.

Very old towels with holes in them. Shower was mediocre and absolutely no soap - empty bottles - in the shower. It's almost a week ago and they still did not release a reserve on my credit card, while you need to pay directly upon arrival.

Fletcher hotel is the best place to live together a tons of bees. We tried to teach a bee to be a negotiator to kick the rest of the bees out of the hotel, but sadly she died. So now the hotel belongs to the bees and the people inside are the guests. Summary, best thing are the bees.

You have to ask for a hairdrier and the iron was burned.

Pastoral Location. Low rates.

The matrass on my bed was uneven and fell off the bed several times while I was sleeping. I asked to replace it but the staff couldn't find a different mattress. They also charged me for smoking in the room. the problem with that is: I don't smoke and I never did. There is a smoke detector in the room that never alerted about any smoke. I slept late so as far as I know no one from the cleaning staff entered my room to check if there was any smoke smell in my room.

Beds were too soft and narrow so I blocked my neck the very first night and was constantly falling off the bed.
