Convienient stay for early airport start

Be prepared to walk down very long corridors to find your room - hotel is huge!

USB did not work for phone charging. Also tried a plug adaptor and that did not work either. The sink was slow draining

Location for our onward travel. Restaurant staff and food were very good

Reception staff were efficient but not friendly. No wine glasses in the room. Mismatched water glasses in the room. Very noisy from 6am in the morning. My husband actually thought there was an aerobics class happening outside our room. Also why can’t you use the Hilton honors app on food and beverage outwith the room booking on a 3rd party forum.

Great location & comfortable room. Staff were excellent under pressure - accommodating customers from a cancelled flight as well as customers like us with speed & professional & friendly manner.

Bathroom lighting was terrible, only overhead - I don’t wear a lot of makeup but found it difficult to see well enough to put it on properly (the light casts lots of shadows)

It did not have a stocked bar fridge - we asked for a room that was close to the elevator and were given one as far as possible from the lift

Surly receptionist on arrival. Not a good welcome after a tiring day travelling.

Location for an overnight stay. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast time accommodating an early flight was appreciated.

Fantastic location right next to the south terminal. Excellent service from reception staff when checking in, including assistance with checking in for flight the next day and printing boarding passes. Superb service in both Amy’s Bar and The Garden Restaurant. Food in restaurant very enjoyable and good value. Our room was very clean and comfortable.

I was hit in the back by the rotating front door which was going too fast for an 84year old with a case and knocked out onto the street reported to desk and noted . Ruined holiday ending 10 days hospital in Gibraltar with pneumonia and heart problems. Now home recovering with doctors help.

I would have preferred a a super king bed, like I have at home. Amy’s bar had no real comfortable seats and is a bit too light, could be made more cosy with more dimmed lighting.

Room needed a clean. It was dusty, the bedding gave off dust when it was moved. Mirrors and the toilet roll holder were smeary. Bedside table had a sticky mark.

We took a room on the executive level which is away from the noise of the airport. The hotel restaurant was good. It is a perfect place to stay for an early air departure from London Gatwick.

The property was just fine. They need to post signs to the hotel from the Train station which is within easy walking distance. »
