Close proximity to Gatwick airport. Had all our needs for an overnight stay before catching a flight.

Close to Gatwick however cannot walk it, need a transport. Motel provides a shuttle from hotel to airport at about the cost of an Uber.
It's old and tired. Definitely could do with some TLC.

Can't comment on much other than service.
Had to cut my trip short due to family bereavement and requested a refund and it was ignored. Understand, policies are there to protect any company and personel but when there are unforeseen circumstances the hotel needs to offer leanancy especially when they are given prior notice

Booking easy, helpful with arranging a shuttle taxi to the airport and flexible around my 3.30am departure.
Room was noisy and small. TV in an odd location above the bedroom door.
The taxi driver was not very friendly, but it was 3.30am!

Hotel was near to Airport.
The room had a continuous sewerage smell. The hotel know about this as they had an electrical air freshner on in the hallway all day and night. There were numerous electrical extensions which were connected to each other across the room. There was nowhere to place suitcases and nowhere to hang clothes or unpack as there was no cupboards or coat hooks.
The ensuite was tiny and not of a good standard. The television was mounted on the wall at about 8 or 9 foot in the air and would be impossible to watch for ant time. I would not stay here again and may change who I book accommodation through in the future.

Manned 24 house. Very clean. Really surpassed my expectations. Perfect for overnight stay if flying from Gatwick as it's only 5 minutes drive.
Continental breakfast had plenty of varieties.
The scents around the hotel was relaxing.
I had to make a couple of adjustments to my booking which was fulfilled with no questions asked.
Really hard to find any negatives.

Very friendly personal. Whatever I asked they kindly helped me.
Shuttle service to airport. Because I had a lot of luggage, rushed and didn't want to stress myself with public transportation. Hotel solved my problem for reasonable price for 2 people, almost like the cost for a bus.

This hotel was ideal 👌 location. Close to the airport and train station. There's nothing I can fault . Staff were really nice. And the restaurant food was amazing. Iv never had Indian food but my god it was delicious. They also had a British menu. So win win . Would definitely return .

The room was o.k. the breakfast was o.k. the location along with shuttle service was good. If you like authentic Indian food the restaurant was Good !!! All these were as expected, what exceeded my expectation was the helpfulness of the staff. Very friendly and polite, they were a 10👍.
The acorn lodge is a small hotel, but with the narrow hallways and multiple staircases I actually got lost a couple of times. So not a real issue

Room was Very noisy with traffic noise after arriving at 23.30 to be woken up from 0500 not conducive to a restful night!
Unoccupied breakfast tables from previous clients were not cleared away until a female started working at 10.00.

I thought the staff was brilliant. They showed me to my room but unfortunately somebody stuff was still in the room. So straight away they got another key and gave me a different room.

The walk from the train station to the hotel.
I was dreading the walk to the airport but the hotel offered a shuttle service for an excellent fair price 👍

It was ok to stay just for one night travel the next morning but hotel had bad smell everywhere nothing will make me stay there again they charge you for shuttle to hotel back to airport I would rather pay that extra for the proper hotel inside near airport hotel with good standards ok I made a mistake never again no good

Amazingly helpful staff, lovely rooms , very clean and was extremely stress free and easy to find, free parking and the added surprise of freshly cooled Indian food. Would highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay again.
Could have used an extra pillow and some of the ceilings were slightly low so easy to jump your head but other than that absolutely nothing.

Staff were great, swapped our room for an extra bed no problem at all. Parking was available and breakfast was out and ready early. Would stay here again for the airport run to Gatwick.

We reserved room online due to canceled flight. On arrival I described the situation and I wanted to extend our staying. Receptionist said "Ok sir,but prices will be changed tomorrow morning. I said "Ok,I will put my bag in the room and come back to complete the documentation. After 15 minutes when I came back,receptionist said "excuse me sir but prices changed to higher now. I was shocked. Unfortunately I didn't stay there and left next morning which I found better and cheaper another place somewhere else.

Its close to Gatwick
The beds were very uncomfortable,felt like I was falling off the bed.
The ceiling was very low and I had to bend to move around the room.
Steep steps not ideal when carrying luggage.

Location to the airport is good and parking was free
The room we had was in the roof and at 5ft2in even I couldn’t stand up in most of the space including the toilet.
