We had a very large room which was very comfortable and the hotel is very close to the old city. The hotel restaurant was excellent too. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Superb location only a walk through a car park to the old city and a 20 minute walk across the river to the new city.

The cost of the breakfast

The location is perfect. Less than ten minutes’ walk from the Citadel and less than thirty minutes’ walk from the city. The pool is lovely, the food is great and most of the staff are friendly and helpful.

Although I liked my room, I did find it a bit dark. The corridors get quite hot, but the rooms are a good temperature.

Location was great. Newly done up hotel. Nice room.

The Hotel is so convenient for the castle. It really is 5 minutes walk. Spotless hotel . Low rise with only two floors and very well equipped and modern bathrooms. 89 rooms I think. We didn’t try breakfast but many did ( we liked to try different places within the castle ). There always seemed enough sun beds particularly in the Early afternoon After sightseeing. Pool was nice and had its own pool bar. Mixture of customers - quite diverse from young families to business folk. Dogs are allowed too 🐶😃👍

It was really lovely except for the people playing in the swimming pool till 4.00 am in the morning

We arrived at 12.00 as asked to because of road closures and then could not check into the room till way after 4.00pm

Great staff and facilities

Great location, pleasant facilities.

Bathroom amenities were spare -- just a hand gel bolted to the wall, no shampoo, no hooks for towels or clothes. Clearly the designers never tried to actually use the room for a shower.

Hotel is 5 minutes walk to the old city. Hotel is a very relaxing place to stay and the quality of food in the restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. The dinner we had was a match for the best meals we had at any of the restaurants.

I would have given the hotel top marks but for 2 things: 1. the room we were in on the ground floor was quite small - nowhere to sit at a table. 2. It was difficult to find shade in the garden and around the pool - no umbrellas or shades of any kind apart from a blind over the restaurant patio door. This is a comment about Carcassonne rather then the hotel - it is very difficult to find good vegetarian food, and if you are vegan - forget it or really do your research beforehand.

The car park (and parking spaces) are too small. We arrived later than intended and found it very difficult to park as it was full. Several other guests turned up while we were waiting to park and had the same problem.

Super location, really close to the Cité. The grounds are lovely and pool is also v nice (and much needed in the heat of the summer)

The hotel is charming, and located an easy walk to the old city. Breakfast was wonderful, and staff was friendly.

Our window was stuck closed, but since we were only there for one night it was not a big problem.

Staff went out of way to arrange food in room. Because restaurant full and needed food with medication
