Good value for money! Traveling for work. Stayed regularly over multiple weeks. Any issues were dealt promptly and resolved. Responsive communication. Good location closer to city centre so restaurants and cafes options available.

We liked that the hotel and room was clean and there was tea/coffee in n the room. The shower worked well and was easy to use. The location of the hotel was ideal as its a short walking distance to the town centre and local amenities

The bed in our room was too soft but we did get some sleep, it just wasn’t the most comfortable. Our room view wasn’t the best as all we could see was roofs and buildings but that can’t really be helped as not everyone can get a sea front view

Traveled for work - didn't have breakfast so unfair to comment on that. The building is a grade 2 listed Victorian property and has many original features. First room was Room 3 - was like a cave - very dark and far too hot - toilet didn't flush properly, bed too hard. Second 3 night stop was in Room 5 - much better room - with a Lake view - bed was comfy. Both rooms had clean bedding, and towels, bathroom was clean - both rooms need a good deep clean. Other than that was a pleasant enough stay and other quests were quiet, which is important when traveling for work.

Rooms needed a deep clean, was a lot of thick dust on the carpets and skirting boards, which i noticed when using the plugs. It's not a bad place at all, the staff are very accommodating and brought me teabags etc as soon as I asked for them, as my room had not been serviced. They are a small business doing their best.

I spent a happy 3 days staying in this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious and filling. The hotel is situated close to the sea front so easy access to the beach

We have stayed there before and both times its been a lovely hotel and very convenient to all places nearby
