The staff and location met my expectations thanks

The checking in process was absolutely horrendous even though I pre booked I was made to sit around, what was actually more frustrating was when I got into my room even though it looked nice and clean it wasn’t, my pillows and duvet covers stank what was more shocking is when I opened the duvet covers my actual duvet was so filthy and smelly I couldn’t sleep, I was very disappointed

The staff! Every staff member we interacted with were amazing. A special mention to Earl from the lounge who made sure our every need was attended to. Babita, who greeted us made us feel like we were the only guests there. She even organised some special treats for a very special occasion. The spa area was so tranquil and relaxing and we found ourselves spending a good amount of time in there. The lounge access is definitely worth every cent. The Tori Tori restaurant was beautiful and the food was amazing. Everything was fantastic!

The food in the Zabeel Social was not great. The steak that I ordered was very overcooked and tasteless. The cost to buy a bottle of water in any of the restaurants and the cost of soft drinks on the beach were very expensive.

The Indian manager in the lounge was very helpful and great, he assisted and efforts to give us service recovery for the bad experience happened in Tori Tori. The indonesian manager at the reception and Nepali lady who escorted us to the room was very friendly and cheerful. Giri from the spa was the best Balinese massage lady. The facility and comfy inside the room was excellent. The kids club and the pools are good. Indian restaurant was great and staffs were very attentive.

Very bad experience in Tori Tori(Japanese restaurant)in term of food and services. Waiting 5 minutes at the entrance as no one at the reception. Ordered Tempura, you will get dynamite shrimp with spicy mayonnaise Ordered seaweeds salad, you will get green leaves salad with 5% of seaweeds using for Miso soup underneath Ordered Crispy duck main course, it is not crispy at all. The restaurant staffs always disappeared inside the kitchen and not attentive to the guests at all. We ordered non-vegetarian bento for kid, but got vegetarian bento instead. By the time, they changed it to non-vegetarian, my 4 years old daughter had only few bites and then passed out in my husband arms due to the delayed and wrong ordered given to us. It took time in the restaurant for 01:30 hr to give us 2 small staters and 2 main courses and one bento for kid as we could not find staff to give us dessert menu and give us the bill to sign. After we raised the complain by 20:00pm. The supervisor of restaurant tried to contact us by 22:55pm and informed that they removed the drinks charges from our bill ,which was just 2 bottles of water, for service recovery as we are already on half board. The management should look at CCTV to observe the staff performance more closely as the restaurant had only few tables inside, 30% occupied outside and not busy at all. Unfortunately, I must say this restaurant should not be longer existed in this hotel as the rest of the stay was very good, except in this place.

A very welcoming hotel. Generous hospitality Very Clean, and spacious. Very good staff, especially the front desk manager who was very helpful.

The view of the room was not good as the one I booked online. The reception lady was not well cooperative for my request.

Everything was clean and tidy. The food was delicious. All the restaurants were exceptional. The pool and beach were clean and the staff were very attentive. We took advantage of the jet skiing and Yacht trip one day/evening and we also did the desert adventure. All of them were top notch and worth it.

Das Badezimmer: braunes Wasser kam aus dem Hahn für die Badewanne. Viele Silikondichtungen waren veraltet, locker oder nicht mehr vorhanden. Mit dem hiesigen Qualitätsstandard hat die Verlegung von Fliesen und Silikonfugen wenig zu tun. Aufgrund des schlechten Wetters schien das Personal mit dem Ansturm der Gäste am Nachmittag in Cafes und Restaurants überfordert zu sein. Da man am Ende der Palm auf einem Palmenblatt lokalisiert ist, braucht man leider länger um von der Palme runterzukommen.

Good facilities and very clean rooms

I was double charged for dinner and they have faked my signature on the bill. When I went to clarify the issue front desk manager completely dismissed me.

1 – The hotel room is just perfect with Ottoman style décor and an amazing view from the balcony of the long stretched pool and sea of the west crescent of the palm. I would leave the Balcony sliding doors open to hear the sound of the tide at the sea and the birds chirping in the morning. 2 – The SPA, enjoyed the peace and relaxation, and refreshments. Swimming pool, Steam room, Sauna, cold room, Jacuzzi and marble-heated beds to relax those sore joints after a hard workout at the gym. As a bonus, the lovely, beautiful ladies at the front desk of the spa are polite, fun, sociable and quite enjoyable to talk to. At times I would think am I visiting a Miss Universe contest or Victoria's Secret supermodels, but either way, it was nice to speak with the lovely Staff before you would enter the Gym or the Spa. 3 – The beach, I would just sit there in the morning and leave at sunset. So, peaceful and no loud music, towels are provided for the beach beds and if you feel like diving into the sea for a swim. The villa and residential side of the beach was my favourite spot. Water and ice are provided for free which makes all that extra difference when you are sitting at the beach and feeling thirsty and you need the water to be nice and cool. 4 – Housekeeping is just perfect they would generally do it twice to three times a day. Always attending to your needs or any requests that you may have. They would even go as far as folding up your clothes and placing your shoes and slippers in their appropriate places. Which made me feel guilty at times for being too lazy. However, I am so grateful for the effort and pride they put into making your stay at the hotel the most memorable one. Also, humble, kind polite and sociable when engaging with them in a conversation.

1 - Smoking at the beach, no designated area for smokers. 2 - The Gym, is not well equipped for the calibre of the Hotel standards. 3 - No combs available in the hotel room. 4 - No camomile tea sachet available in the room.

My Wife and I stayed at the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray for the end of our Honeymoon and it was a magnificent Hotel. Amazing and attentive staff, half-board access to restaurants serving full menus (Good food too!). Club and club staff were very nice. Pool area was awesome and had a really big swimming area.

On site spa was good but very expensive for the service. Not worth it in our opinion.

The view onto the Palm Island

We were overcharged because the reception didn't check our previous authorisation/purchase upon check in. We are still awaiting the error to be corrected! Also we booked early and paid much higher than other guests who had Club Rooms as the demand dropped at the property. I used to be a Revenue MGR in hotels and with customers being increasingly savvy, I would have offered customers like us (repeated) either an upgrade (no Club Room facilities) or a slight discount to reassure us of our patronage. Nothing was done - even after speaking to the Duty MGR! :(

Excellent service

There is a bottleneck at the reception sometimes with two attendants and many clients…but lovely and friendly anyway…perhaps more reception staff. Plus my telephone to reception never worked in my room . I had to get other numbers from the house keeper number
